Referring to the Bali Provincial Regulation Number 5 of 2005 which states that building facades must pay attention to aesthetic principles and characteristics of traditional Balinese architecture. This study aims to analyze the implementation and typology of traditional Balinese ornaments on the building of a resort hotel in Sawangan, Kuta Selatan. The use of ornaments at resorts building in Sawangan is inspired and takes forms from traditional Balinese ornaments. Therefore, it is necessary to study the characteristics of building ornaments through a typological approach and the results are useful in implementing regulations and preserving Balinese cultural values in essential forms, especially in resort hotel architectural design. The method used in this study is a qualitative rationalistic approach to the concept and form of ornaments associated with traditional Balinese ornaments. The results of this study indicate a typology based on the concept of ornament forms and elements that are related or take ideas from traditional Balinese ornaments.

Abstract Recently, many Joglos, which is one of the Javanese vernacular houses have been translocated and converted by the locals to accommodate a variety of new functions, such as lodging and cafes. The effort to reuse those translocated Joglos becomes a conservation trend in Indonesia and assumed as an ex-situ conservation of cultural heritage buildings. Descriptively, this study examines the conservation efforts which runs in Padi Heritage Hotel Malang by translocating the Joglo Jepara and Joglo Kudus from its home and placed in this resort-hotel area. In its new homes, these re-rised Joglos adapt the new function and respectively it causes changes in the visual and spatial aspects of the Joglos as the result of the adaptive reuse approach. There are several factors that affect changes in the translocation of the Joglos in the Padi Heritage Hotel, such as the need to beautify the building visually, demands for new functions, as well as the need for certain additions to the structures of the building that makes questions about authenticity need to be addressed in this conservation issue.

Danau Lait became famous after going viral on social media because of its natural beauty and uniqueness. Located in Subah Village, Sanggau Regency in West Kalimantan Province. Currently, Danau Lait is starting to be visited by many people. Based on references to the number of visitors to Lake Lait in recent months, it has reached more than 8000 visitors. The surge in visitors to Lake Lait is not matched by the accommodation that accommodates the needs of visitors. Therefore, we need a place or place for refreshing and comfortable rest for visitors, namely in the form of a Resort hotel. The function of a Resort hotel is not only to stay but also to enjoy the natural attractions of Danau Lait. The design of this Resort hotel uses the concept of a Neo-vernacular approach, which is a combination of the concept of traditional buildings and modern buildings which are emphasized on the building's facade. The use of this concept also aims to give an identity to the Hotel Resort Danau Lait building. Based on the existing problems, it is possible to create a Resort hotel with a Neo-vernacular approach that can accommodate the needs of tourists visiting Danau Lait.

We work in the Aegean islet hotel-room environment a friendly design from scratch for many years with legislation, political, defense, and engineering developments. Pandemic triggered out our initial findings. As a curse threatens tourism and as a blessing, it reveals new unpreceded hospitality options. In this research paper, we outline some scientific proceeds like Coastline Paradox and investment opportunity. The Aegean Sea has several thousand islands without inhabitants and several million meters of coastline certifying the “Coastline Paradox”. The fundamental concept of a guest room on an isolated tiny island is ecological vacations in the Aegean Sea, the marooning stranded in an islet vacation, the myth creation to attract guests, and the books and media coverage of the loneliness concept. The noninhabitant islands initially will be revitalized from deserted salinity virgin lands to beautiful paradises, with new flora and fauna, human living facilities, and optionally overnight sleeping space. A huge, city-size, modular ship with service boats formulate the Aegean Highway. All these workouts establish the Aegean Island resort hotel. All islets will be used as hotel rooms hosting various tourist and business activities. Finally, we face business concepts like COVID compliance, sovereignty, Aegean-wide services, and business realization options.

Nowadays, progressive developments in information technology and latest communication techniques have brought about increasingly significant variations in consumer behaviour. These changes have created a focused shift in companies’ business and marketing strategies. The hotel and tourism industry in particular, has been histrionically influenced by an electronic word-of-mouth (e-WOM) form of communication. This study aims to examine the extent to which e-WOM influences customer experience in a resort hotel setting. Using purposive sampling technique, a total of 135 usable online survey questionnaire feedbacks were collected from targeted respondents and subsequently used for data analyses. The data were analysed using SmartPLS software. Empirical results have revealed positive and significant relationships between e-WOM and all four dimensions of customer experience. The results emphasized the importance of e-WOM in the resort hotel industry and provided practical implications for the resort operators to enhance their guests’ level of expected experience.

The primary objective of the study is to investigate the possible existence of significant links that bind spatial infrastructure and property layout with hospitality-related crimes. Under this topic, the researchers tried to shed light on a previously unexplored region of criminality within the service sector in Greece, investigating 4 and 5-star resort hotels on the island of Crete. A form of non-probability purposive sampling was applied. The methods of the research were three: Direct observation of hotel infrastructure, ranking of key variables by an expert panel, and a semi-structured interview with hoteliers. It derives from the results that the expansion of hospitality properties in smaller sites weakens effective security. Defining the way of how infrastructure affects crime, can lead to a differentiation in thinking during the designing process.
