The Merdeka Campus Competition Program, held by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology, is a financing program that aims to facilitate, encourage, and accelerate the transformation of higher education institutions. Informatics Engineering Study Program, Hamzanwadi University, as one of the universities that received the grant, developed an Internet of Things-based application to monitor the progress of Covid-19 patients who are self-isolating called SMART e-MONITORING. Therefore, this activity aims to socialize the Smart e-Monitoring application at STIPARK NTB as partners. This activity was held over four months. It’s were starting from product presentations to system testing and product launching. The activity results show that the developed application can run well and display the patient's condition in real-time. The recorded data include body temperature data, oxygen levels (SPO2), and heart rate (BPM). This data is used to facilitate the handling of self-isolated patients in real-time and without direct contact with Covid-19 patients.

The rapid advancement of the welding technology has simultaneously increased the demand for the online monitoring system in order to control the process. Among the methods that could be possibly used to assess the weld condition, an air-borne acoustic method grasps the attention from scholars due to its ability to provide a simple, non-contact, and low-cost measurement system. However, it is still lack of resources involving this subject in an attempt to deeply understand the emitted sound behaviour during welding especially when dealing with a complete deviation of a process parameter, welding types, workpiece material as well as the noise from the surrounding. This paper reviews the application of the acoustic method in monitoring the welding process. Specifically, this review emphasized the source of both structure-borne and air-borne acoustic during the welding process and the significance of applying the acoustic method in more detail. By focusing on the liquid state welding process, the scope of discussion converged on the arc and laser welding process. In the last part of this review, the potential future advancement of this method is pointed out before the overall conclusion is made.

Abstract Prabumulih Field was located in South Sumatra, Indonesia. It has been developed as an oil field since 1920n (It was categorized as a mature field). At the end of 2019, the amount of oil well production was 149 wells (93% of the producing wells installed artificial lifting). As a consequence, to maintain production, artificial lifting surveillance activities must be a major concern and be managed properly. However, there are some challenges for surveillance, for instance, the location of well spread over a large area, the condition of the access road, and limited human resources. Surveillance activity itself carried out manually required both much time and many human resources, however, acquired data was only once in a week for one well. That condition always emerged undesired occurrence because engineers who were in the headquarter did not obtain notification when producing wells were in trouble or suddenly off producing. In addition, there was a delay in time for evaluation and intervention, which resulted in decreased oil production. Nowadays, application, in order to accelerate the data retrieval process, was much needed, especially real-time acquisition and it could be monitored in several kinds of devices. This paper will be presented about the benefit of real-time monitoring application in mature field, especially for artificial lifting well (ESP and Rod Pump). It has been installed since December 2019. There were several benefits obtained after installing this technology, those were related to surveillance and optimization. For instance, reducing time and human resources needed to obtained pump parameter data, engineers who are in the headquarter could observe everyday using both laptop/personal computer and smartphone, engineers obtained notification immediately when there were wells in a trouble, decision making for optimization and or intervention was faster, increase pump run life, and reducing well service program. Besides, there was another benefit that related to cost reduction, for instance saving rig costs for well service of 350,578 USD in a year because the amount of well service decreased from 49 times to 36 times, and obtained additional gross revenue of 547,945 USD for one year (cost for real-time monitoring for a year is 116,438 USD) because production deferment reduced from 19,577 STB to 5,105 STB. Based on those data, real-time monitoring could increase the economic condition of the mature field, so it was worth applying in a mature field.

Abstract Flood disaster is the most disastrous hydrological event that can lead to property destruction and loss of lives. One of the efforts to mitigate the impact is by providing an advance technology in monitoring and event alert. The flood monitoring application is developed to provide real-time weather forecast and disaster warnings. To increase disaster management efficiency, we conducted this research to identify the needs and requirements for a flood monitoring application. The study is mainly focusing on user perspective and preferences. The participant of this survey includes the authorities, non-government agency (NGO) and public. The participant is given a set of questionnaires containing thirteen questions, including the combination of open-ended and close-ended questions covering three sub-topics: user background, user experience, and user knowledge. List of important flood monitoring application features based on user requirements analysis and empathy map has been used to visualize user attitudes and behaviours.

Abstract Background The Life-Chart Method (LCM) is an effective self-management treatment option in bipolar disorder (BD). There is insufficient knowledge about the consumers’ needs and desires for an e-monitoring solution. The first step towards a new mood monitoring application is an extended inventory among consumers and professionals. Methods The aim of the current study was: to identify opinions about online mood monitoring of patients with BD and professionals and to identify preferences on design, technical features and options facilitating optimal use and implementation of online mood monitoring. This study used a qualitative design with focus-groups. Participants were recruited among patients and care providers. Three focus-groups were held with eight consumers and five professionals. Results The focus-group meetings reveal a shared consciousness of the importance of using the Life-Chart Method for online mood monitoring. There is a need for personalization, adjustability, a strict privacy concept, an adjustable graphic report, and a link to early intervention strategies in the design. Due to the fact that this is a qualitative study with a relative small number of participants, so it remains unclear whether the results are fully generalizable. We can’t rule out a selection bias. Conclusions This study demonstrates the importance of involving stakeholders in identifying a smartphone-based mood charting applications’ requirements. Personalization, adjustability, privacy, an adjustable graphic report, and a direct link to early intervention strategies are necessary requirements for a successful design. The results of this value specification are included in the follow-up of this project.

Chat Dokter Online is a digital health platform developed by CV Cattleya Consultation Center based in Palembang. This digital health platform serves general public health consultations regarding health problems both in the city of Palembang and from outside the city of Palembang. This application is expected to be able to provide optimal services and a broad reach for users and especially patients who are self-isolating COVID-19 in Palembang City. The implementation of this community service activity is carried out through the stages of observation, interviews, application prototype development, application testing, application utilization, and monitoring application utilization. Chat Dokter Online provides massive health services and easy access for patients exposed to COVID 19 to determine the clinical degree of COVID-19, complaints felt by patients and to determine when to finish self-isolation. In addition, this application helps the public to get valid health information directly from doctors and experts.
