This research aims to estimate the feasibility of using smart-bracelets as a part of a medicine indoor-positioning system, to monitor the health status and location of patients in a hospital. The smart-bracelet takes on the role of a token of the system and can measure pulse, blood pressure and saturation and provide data transmission over the BLE. The distance between token and anchor was calculated by the RSSI. The position of a token and anchor relative to each other was determined by the trilateration method. The results of the research showed that the accuracy of the developed system in a static position is 1.46 m and exceeds 3 m in a dynamic position. Results of experiments showed that measurements from the smart bracelets are transmitted to the server of the system without distortion. The study results indicated that smart-bracelets could be used to locate patients inside a hospital or estimate their current health state. Given the low accuracy of systolic pressure measurement, it is recommended to develop an algorithm that will allow smooth measuring error for higher-precision estimation of the patient`s general health state. In addition, it is planned to improve the positioning algorithm.

Visual working memory (VWM) is an active representation enabling the manipulation of item information even in the absence of visual input. A common way to investigate VWM is to analyze the performance at later recall. This approach, however, leaves uncertainties about whether the variation of recall performance is attributable to item encoding and maintenance or to the testing of memorized information. Here, we record the contralateral delay activity (CDA) - an established electrophysiological measure of item storage and maintenance - in human subjects performing a delayed orientation precision estimation task. This allows us to link the fluctuation of recall precision directly to the process of item encoding and maintenance. We show that for two sequentially encoded orientation items, the CDA amplitude reflects the precision of orientation recall of both items, with higher precision being associated with a larger amplitude. Furthermore, we show that the CDA amplitude for each item varies independently from each other, suggesting that the precision of memory representations fluctuates independently.

Indolocarbazole glycosidic derivative LCS-1269 with significant antiproliferative activity has been synthesized in N.N. Blokhin National Medical Research Center of Oncology. To control the quality of the substance, the chromatographic method of the assay was created and validated. The technique was carried out in a gradient mode using mobile phases consist of acetonitrile, trifluoroacetic acid and purified water. The specificity of the method was shown by checking of test solutions and the special solvent chromatograms. The method linearity was confirmed, and the parameters of linear dependence have been estimated, and the relationship was described by the equation: y = 49.23× – 35.51 with correlation coefficient 0.9998. The method’s precision was determined as the repeatability with a relative error of the mean 1.49% and was 2.433 ± 0.036. Was shown, that the results obtained in the intermediate precision estimation were not burdened with a systematic error. The detection limit and quantitation limit were calculated based on the linear relationship data as 3.15 μg/mL and 9.57 μg/mL, respectively. Sensitive HPLC method for LCS-1269 assay in substance has been developed and validated.
