This study aims to answer the question of why during the COVID-19 pandemic the interest in entrepreneurship among young Indonesians is very high. The research seeks to uncover entrepreneurial intentions with an analytical focus on the current dimensions of knowledge, personality, values, and entrepreneurial orientation. The survey was conducted online, attended by 153 students of Communication Science at Tadulako University. The results of the survey data analysis show that in line with efforts to incorporate entrepreneurship courses into the curriculum, entrepreneurial intentions among students are quite high. While the university curriculum is focused on preparing students to become professionals, the Covid-19 situation has encouraged students to contribute to overcoming social problems through social entrepreneurship.

Malaysian Nationhood courses are offered in conjunction with core or mandatory courses offered at the certificate, diploma, or first-degree level. This course was created to instil in students the values of patriotism and nationalism in the hope that they will grow into responsible citizens and stewards of the motherland. The course is offered to ensure that history subjects studied in school continue to be studied at the tertiary level. Thus, this article discusses the Malaysian Nationhood courses offered through the Anak Watan Platform. The Anak Watan Platform concept was based on the recognition that the Malays and Bumiputeras are the country's backbone, as enshrined in the Malaysian constitution. The methodology of the research is qualitative, relying on source-based documentation analysis, as well as the author's observations and experience teaching the nationhood course. The study's findings indicate that when developing the nationhood course curriculum, priority should be given to the elements found in the Anak Watan Platform concept to ensure that every student understands its importance in ensuring the sustainability of a peaceful and prosperous Malaysian nation.

Abstract: English has emerged as the language of scientific communication (Björkman, 2011; Jenkins, 2006). Given the significance of English, in addition to ESP courses that have been incorporated in university curriculum, the CLIL method can be one of the choices for improving students' English mastery. Before implementing CLIL and creating the necessary resources, a comprehensive investigation is required to determine the ‘what' and ‘how' the content, curriculum, assessment, and evaluation will be produced (Flowerdew, 2013). Prior to developing “Fundamental of Social Studies” CLIL-based content, this research intends to analyse several aspects. It investigates: (1) the significance students place on grammar, vocabulary, and language skills in the English learning process; (2) the students' preferences in English learning activities; and (3) the language components that students improved the most. Students in the Social Studies Program were given a survey. The implication based on the findings is that future material developments are recommended to include audio-materials, pay more attention to speaking activities, and incorporate more diverse grammar activities. Moreover, the type of activities involved are suggested to include group work as it is favoured by the students; especially for speaking performance. Group speaking performance is preferred then the individual one for it lessen the anxiety.     Keywords: CLIL, Need Analysis, Material Development, ESP, Social Studies

The world entered to knowledge-based economy which is based on the production and use of information. Today computer technology, language proficiency and logistics play a major role. University Curriculum connects the secondary level education and the industry. Therefore, industry inclusiveness is essential in transforming children to an industry worker or an entrepreneur. This paper is derived from an opinion survey, desk research, and a case study. Reports of international institutions were studied extensively in the literatures survey. The respondents of the survey consisted key personnel in the government and private sector covering a cross section of the stakeholders in education and business world. The report analyses are then evaluated and discussed though a case study in Sri Lanka. The practices and procedures in the contemporary education system in the country is systematically explained in this section. The report presents its key recommendation under seven areas as policy recommendations. It includes innovative concepts such as, vertical integration between schools, universities, and industry; extended academic disciplines at tertiary level; changes in the university; review to selection criteria of state universities; new academic disciplines in the school curriculum; technical and vocational education; focus on children with different skills etc.

The paper  presents the results of a survey conducted in the academic year 2018/2019 among students of Italian Studies at the University of Wroclaw on metacognitive self-consciousness concerning Italian writing proficiency. The questions concerned the students' practice of written forms of expression in their private lives; the contribution (actual or anticipated) of writing proficiency in their current and future professional career; and the evaluation of the teaching of writing proficiency within the university curriculum of Italian Studies. The study was qualitative and conducted from an emic perspective, involving students in metacognitive reflection. The results of the study indicate limited metacognitive self-consciousness on the part of the students of Italian Studies, who are not, however, devoid of any criticism of the practical Italian language course curriculum.

Despite the accelerated dynamics of the environment, higher education institutions slowly update their curricula in entrepreneurship education according to global challenges and market needs. Moreover, knowledge and good practice exchanges between educators of futures studies, business representatives, and academics is limited. This article aims to present a methodology for prototyping an online course for individuals to become more future-oriented in their professional and personal settings. The main research problems tackled by the authors relate to: 1) the identification of competences that would help academics, entrepreneurs, and students to deal with uncertainty and to 2) convey the competences to the target groups through learning topics selected from futures studies and the entrepreneurship repertoire. The authors of the article undertook and coordinated theoretical and empirical research on foresight and Futures Literacy and its correspondence with entrepreneurship within the beFORE project funded under the Erasmus+ program’s Knowledge Alliance scheme. The research process resulted in the identification of 12 key competence items and the development of a free, approximately 34-hour-long online course consisting of seven self-standing modules, 25 lessons, and 79 learning topics corresponding to these competences. The originality of the paper is in its contribution to the discussion on the competences and online course content that efficiently increase the capacities of using the future(s) in professional, academic, and personal settings.
