Enterprise risk management (ERM) is significant in running a company. ISO 31000 is one of the ERM types that are familiar. However, there are still pros and cons of ISO 31000. Thus, this study aimed to find out the responses of the Indonesian fintech lending companies managements in implementing ISO 31000. Specifically, this study tried to identify the problems in implementing ISO 31000:2018 to be implemented as ERM. Besides, it also discussed the benefits of the ISO 31000:2018 implementation from the companies' management's perspectives. The data were collected through questionnaires and interviews. The questionnaire results were quantified and interpreted in percentage, while the interview results were analyzed qualitatively using the interactive data analysis method. The study results showed that most of the companies' management believed that they had no significant problems implementing ISO 31000:2018. In addition, they felt that implementing ISO 31000:2018 as ERM gave many benefits in running the companies. The study's findings were discussed by connecting them with the current theories and empirical reviews. However, since the study was done qualitatively, a further study that involves quantitative study to measure the effectiveness of ISO 31000 empirically is needed to support the results of this study.

This study aims to describe and explain the value of education in literature and how relevant it is for teaching. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative. Descriptions and explanations lead to circumstances, phenomena and are not limited to data collection but analysis and interpretation of these data. The data collection technique used in this study is a non-interactive technique. Non-interactive data collection techniques by doing intensive reading of the novel and taking notes actively with the method of content analysis. The object of research is literature, namely the Novel Sang Nyai 1 by Budi Sardjono. The approach used by the researcher is an objective approach that emphasizes literature. With this approach, researchers will easily find data as a description related to the value of education and its relevance in teaching. The results showed that the value of education in the literature of Sang Nyai 1 by Budi Sardjono in the form of irrationality, tolerance, and discipline. The irrationality of the characters Kesi and Kang Petruk has a close relationship in instilling educational values through literature. The value of tolerance education shows tolerance for other people and the natural environment. Kang Petruk was assigned by Kiai Sapu Jagad to preserve nature. The value of education in the form of discipline, both personally and socially, is implicitly explained to be interpreted by the reader. The relevance of the value of education in literature for teaching is that literature is the right and good medium to transfer the value of education to students, both at the school and university levels. Through literature, in the novel Sang Nyai 1 by Budi Sardjono, there are educational values in the form of irrationality, tolerance, and discipline. These three educational values are expected to contribute to the teaching of Indonesian at both the school and university levels..

The management of the PPTQ Griya Qur'an 3 Putri Klaten has been designed with modern management carried out by ustadzah (female teacher) and mudir as the center. The number of students was 80, and had graduated 2 generations of around 40 students. The purpose of this research is to describe the teaching and learning process at Tahfidz Qur'an. This research used a qualitative descriptive method, conducted at the PPTQ Griya Qur'an 3 Putri Klaten in January-July 2020. The research subjects were ustadzah. The informants were the boarding school leaders and the students. Data collection was carried out by observation technique, interviews, and documents. The validity of the data used source and data triangulation techniques. Meanwhile, the analysis technique used interactive data analysis encompassing data collection, data reduction, then presentation and conclusion. Based on the research, there are three stages of learning tahfizh; the first is the preliminary stage (pre-instructional), the second is the core stage (instructional) containing the implementation of muraja'ah and ziyadah students, then the teacher listens/justifies the students' readings, and the third is assessment stage. Evaluations include daily evaluations and level-up evaluations. Daily evaluation is done by the verse memorized every day, while the evaluation of the time level can be carried out at any time when the students are ready to memorize 30 juz’.

Abstract The liquid-liquid phase separation (LLPS) of biological macromolecules has emerged as a foundational mechanism underlying the formation of a myriad of membraneless organelles (MLOs), such as stress granules, transcription factor condensates, and chromatin compartments. A molecular grammar of sequences, which would enable a quantitative prediction and understanding of protein phase separation from first principles is currently missing. A major challenge in the field is the sparsity of bioinformatics data and the lack of computational, data-driven tools for biophysical and statistical analysis of proteins capable of phase separation. Here we present the utility of web applications framed within a novel open-source platform for BioInformatic Analysis of liquid-liquid Phase-Separating protein Sequences, https://biapss.chem.iastate.edu/. BIAPSS combines high-throughput interactive data analytics of physicochemical and evolutionary features with a comprehensive repository of bioinformatic data for on-the-fly research of the sequence-dependent properties of proteins with known LLPS behavior. To facilitate exploration of the services and provide the interpretation guideline, we present two attention-getting case studies of FUS and hnRNPDL. This should help the LLPS community uncover the nature of interactions driving the formation of membraneless organelles.

AbstractIn a world ‘flooded’ with data, students in school need adequate tools as Visual Analytics (VA), that easily process mass data, give support in drawing advanced conclusions and help to make informed predictions in relation to societal circumstances. Methods for how the students’ insights may be reformulated and presented in ‘appropriate’ modes are required as well. Therefore, the aim in this study is to analyse elementary school students’ practices of communicating visual discoveries, their insights, as the final stage in the knowledge-building process with an VA-application for interactive data visualization. A design-based intervention study is conducted in one social science classroom to explore modes for students presentation of insights, constructed from the interactive data visualizations. Video captures are used to document 30 students’ multifaceted presentations. The analyses are based on concepts from Pennycook (2018) and Deleuze and Guattari (1987). To account for how different modes interact, when students present their findings, one significant empirical sequence is described in detail. The emerging communicative dimensions (visual-, bodily- and verbal-) are embedded within broad spatial repertoires distributing flexible semiotic assemblages. These assemblages provide an incentive for the possibilities of teachers’ assessments of their students’ knowledge outcomes.

Ending COVID-19 pandemic requires a collaborative understanding of SARS-CoV-2 and COVID-19 mechanisms. Yet, the evolving nature of coronaviruses results in a continuous emergence of new variants of the virus. Central to this is the need for a continuous monitoring system able to detect potentially harmful variants of the virus in real-time. In this manuscript, we present the International Database of SARS-CoV-2 Variations (IDbSV), the result of ongoing efforts in curating, analyzing, and sharing comprehensive interpretation of SARS-CoV-2's genetic variations and variants. Through user-friendly interactive data visualizations, we aim to provide a novel surveillance tool to the scientific and public health communities. The database is regularly updated with new records through a 4-step workflow (1—Quality control of curated sequences, 2—Call of variations, 3—Functional annotation, and 4—Metadata association). To the best of our knowledge, IDbSV provides access to the largest repository of SARS-CoV-2 variations and the largest analysis of SARS-CoV-2 genomes with over 60 thousand annotated variations curated from the 1,808,613 genomes alongside their functional annotations, first known appearance, and associated genetic lineages, enabling a robust interpretation tool for SARS-CoV-2 variations to help understanding SARS-CoV-2 dynamics across the world.
