Vp/Vs ratios for the granitic layers in Shillong Plateau and the partially overlapping Tezpur seismic area, have been calculated from Wadati diagrams drawn on the basis of seismic phase data.   From Shillong plateau the average of 23 readings for some months of 1979 for Vp/Vs is found to be 1.71.   For Tezpur area the average of 29 readings of Vp/Vs for 1991-92 is found to be 1.73, but for 1995-96, the average Vp/Vs from 49 readings is found to be 1.68. The overall average from 78 readings for this area is 1.70. The low Vp/Vs for 1995-97 seems to be precursory.   For the granitic layer, taking Vp = 5.92 kms/s and Vp/Vs = 1.70. We get Vs=3.48 km/s for NE India.   Values of Vp/Vs ratios and number of shocks per day are plotted against time and are shown to undergo sudden lowering before many M³4.2 earthquakes. Vp/Vs is generally lowered below 1.60 in such cases.   In Shillong plateau the number of shocks per day for 1979 is found to be three times the number in the adjoining Tezpur area, for 1991-97.

Abstrak - UPT Perpustakaan Universitas Lampung merupakan UPT yang bergerak di bidang perpustakaan. Memiliki dua layanan berdasarkan interaksinya yaitu layanan teknis dan layanan pengguna. Saat ini UPT Perpustakaan Universitas Lampung memiliki buku yang tercetak sebanyak 142.776. Penelitian ini bertujuan menemukan pola association rule dengan teknik data mining memanfaatkan software RapidMiner 9.1 dalam penerapan algoritma Apriori. Metode penelitian Cross Industry Standar Process for Data Mining (CRISP-DM) dengan tahapan business understanding phase, data understanding phase, data preparation, modelling phase, evaluation phase dan deployment phase. Data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah data transaksi peminjaman buku dari tahun 2014 hingga 2017 dengan total data peminjaman buku sebanyak 170.115. Hasil pemodelan association rule dengan algoritma apriori menggunakan nilai support 0.3 dan nilai confidence 0.3 diperoleh judul buku “Metodologi pengajaran bahasa” akan meminjam “English for tourism :panduan berprofesi di dunia pariwisata” nilai support 1 dan confidence 1. Rekomendasi untuk pembelian buku disarankan mengikuti pattern lampiran hasil asosiasi.Kata kunci: UPT Perpustakaan Universitas Lampung, Data Peminjaman Buku, Data Mining, Association Rule, CRISP-DM.

Digital holography, and especially digital holographic interferometry, is a powerful approach for the characterization of modifications at the surface or in the volume of objects. Nevertheless, the reconstructed phase data from holographic interferometry is corrupted by the speckle noise. In this paper, we discuss on recent advances in speckle decorrelation noise removal. Two main topics are considered. The first one presents recent results in modelling the decorrelation noise in digital Fresnel holography. Especially the anisotropy of the decorrelation noise is established. The second topic presents a new approach for speckle de-noising using deep convolution neural networks. The term deviation frequency (fd) denotes the boundary between the variable part of the amplitude and phase scintillation spectrum and the part of uninformative noises. We suggested the concept of the “characteristic deviation frequency” during the observation period. The characteristic deviation frequency is defined as the most probable value of the deviation frequency under current local conditions. Our case study involved GPS, GLONASS, Galileo and SBAS data under quiet and weakly disturbed geomagnetic conditions (geomagnetic storm on 16 April 2021, Kpmax = 5, SYM-Hmin = −57 nT) at the mid-latitude GNSS station. Our results demonstrated that the deviation frequency for all signal components of GPS, GLONASS and Galileo varies within 15–22 Hz. The characteristic deviation frequency was 20 Hz for the mentioned GNSS signals. The SBAS differs from other systems: deviation frequency varies within 13–20 Hz. The characteristic deviation frequency is lower and equal to 18 Hz. We suggest the characteristic deviation frequency to determine the optimal sampling rate of the GNSS carrier phase data for the ionospheric studies. In turn, the deviation frequency can be considered as a promising index to estimate the boundary of non-variability of the ionosphere.

This chapter discusses the analysis of the baseline phase. The baseline serves as the comparison for information collected during subsequent phases. It allows the researcher or practitioner to determine if the target behaviors are changing in a desirable or undesirable direction. Two different types of baselines are presented, concurrent and reconstructed. In a concurrent baseline, data are collected simultaneously, while other assessment activities are being conducted. A reconstructed baseline is an attempt to approximate naturally occurring behavior based on memories or case records. Issues related to comparing phases are discussed and illustrated, including stability of the baseline, trending data, and autocorrelation (or serial dependency). Guidance is provided on how each of these can be assessed and addressed, including the transformation of highly autocorrelated data. Examples are provided throughout to illustrate each concept.

There is a large variability between individuals in the response to anesthetic drugs, that seriously limits the achievable performance of closed-loop controlled drug dosing. Full individualization of patient models based on early clinical response data has been suggested as a means to improve performance with maintained robustness (safety). We use estimation theoretic analysis and realization theory to characterize practical identifiability of the standard pharmacological model structure from anesthetic induction phase data and conclude that such approaches are not practically feasible.

The characteristic deviation frequency can also characterize the state of the regular trans-ionospheric radio channel.

Stakeholders find it difficult to make decisions for both breeders and supporting sectors due to unorganized agribusiness data on beef cattle, it seems very limited information on it. The activities related to this business have not been recorded well, from male selection, feed management, cultivation, as well as marketing and traceability—these factors have caused price disparities in meat to become commonplace. Thus, a model of breeder empowerment is needed through big data maturity. Data play a crucial role in the planning and development of agriculture and agribusiness. The results of the analysis on efforts to digitalize and integrate data on beef cattle business confirm that the progress stops at the Nascent phase. Data digitalization at the Agency for Agriculture Extension of Kediri is at the Nascent phase, while at the Department of Food Security and Livestock Service is in between the Nascent and pre-adoption phase. Data integration in other agencies, such as the Regional Central Bureau of Statistics of Kediri, the Regional Information and Communication Office of Kediri, and the Directorate General of Livestock, fall into the corporate adoption and mature phase. As can be seen, data have not been well-integrated within one interconnected system. The availability of such a model of data integration will be a good alternative in empowering breeders of beef cattle and the public sector, it will also find communication easier with the existence of the model. The government eventually will be able to better improve performance based on the digital data available.

This paper describes the entrepreneurial journey of product designers and the driver that makes them take an idea into the market. Following a Constructivist Grounded Theory approach, a multiple-phase data generation method explored the entrepreneurial journey of eleven designer-entrepreneurs (D-entrepreneurs). The paper describes the driver named design authorship (D-authorship) and why it is essential in the entrepreneurial journey of designers. The study identified two types of D-authorship: a) the inside-out, where D-entrepreneurs spent considerable time obtaining perfection in the product without any user feedback involved, and b) the outside-in, where D-entrepreneurs build their product as a result of a systematic user-centric approach.

Abstract Agathis borneensis, Castanopsis argentea, Diospyros celebica, Merrillia caloxylon, and Saurauia bracteosa are some threatened species, which have been planted in Cibodas Botanic Gardens as a garden collection. As part of the plant conservation program, their vegetative and reproductive phenology knowledge is crucial to understand when to harvest the seeds used for further propagation and restoration. The study aimed to investigate the phenology phases of these species as well as the impact of microclimates. The study used a descriptive-quantitative analysis based on the records of the exploratory-inventory observation of flowering and fruiting phase data and microclimate circumstances in 2018. Except for precipitation, the data revealed that CBG’s microclimate was considerably less diversified. The results also described that A. borneensis has flowering and fruiting almost throughout the year. C. argentea flowers at the end of the year and then develop into fruit at the beginning of the next subsequent year. D. celebica is also a low-intensity flowering plant that bears fruit almost all year. S. bracteosa has a long period of flowering from May to the end of the year. And then it started to develop into fruits from July to the end of the year and continued to January of the following year. Unfortunately, M. caloxylon is not shown a reproductive stage throughout the year. According to the findings, reproductive phases prominently occur early and at the end of the year, along with the rainy season. It also implied the appropriate time for seed harvesting conducted during these periods.
