Ten years before his death, 250 years ago, he published his monumental five-volume book De Sedibus et Causis Morborum per Anatomen Indagatis (On the Seats and Causes of Disease)2, which contributed to the current experience in neuroscience. He was one of the pioneers of anatomoclinical method, based on the correlation between the clinic and anatomic lesions, that was essential for neurology development.

Thinking about these events and how they are interrogated and worked on by Michel Foucault is an important proposal and helps us to ask questions about the present, as several analyzes allow correlations with the current experience and, thus, make it possible to problematize the considerable strength of social psychiatry. today, reconfiguring disciplinary mental health policies through an increasingly intense medicalizing and normalizing bias in the name of defending society. Therefore, this text contributes to several areas in a transdisciplinary way in the careful work of historical denaturalization of the processes of medicalization and psychiatrization of life as a social and disciplinary norm. Keywords: History of psychiatrization. Background: Rubber dam is an indispensable tool to isolate teeth during dental treatment, but its application can be disagreeable for some patients. Aim: to determine the patient’s attitude to rubber dam use during endodontic procedures. Methods: Cross-sectional study was carried out in Operative Dentistry, Lahore Medical and Dental College, from 31st August 2021 to 21st October 2021. Using convenience sampling, 130 proformas were dispersed amongst house officers and postgraduate residents, who were performing endodontics under rubber dam. Questionnaires consisting demographic information, participant’s previous and current experience of rubber dam use, the treating doctor, time taken to apply rubber dam and duration of procedure. 126 completed forms were returned. Chi-square test was done for proportionate variables to determine statistical significance. Results: 46 patients (36.5%) answered their current experience was better with rubber application, 41 (32.5%) said about the same experience as compared to their previous rubber dam experience, and 11 (8.7%) had a worse current experience. Current experience of rubber dam use was: (i) pleasant/comfortable= 56 (44.4%), and (ii) uncomfortable/painful= 70(55.6%). The results further demonstrated that middle aged patients were more receptive to reapplication of the dam for future endodontic use. Statistically significant finding was that the postgraduate trainees applied the dam faster. Conclusion: Patient acceptance increased as the operator became more experienced, in lieu, more efficient in rubber dam placement. MeSH words: Rubber Dams, Endodontics, Patient

Abstract The article is devoted to the assessment of assembly accuracy when positioning with the use of industrial manipulators (robots). Classic assembly technologies are outdated and have many disadvantages that can be solved by the automation of industrial processes, which became possible due to the rapid development of robotization. In the material there are investigation the possibility of using industrial robots for positioning structural elements of aircraft from the point of view of achieving the required assembly accuracy. For the analysis, foreign literature sources and the current experience of introducing similar technologies by large aircraft manufacturers were used. To assess the assembly accuracy, the formulas for the functional size error were used. An enlarged technological assembly process is presented, graphic materials with basing schemes are presented. Based on the data obtained, the advantages and disadvantages of basing with the help of industrial robots at this stage of technology development are formulated, taking into account the existing production experience.

BackgroundHigh-risk patients account for a disproportionate amount of healthcare use, necessitating the development of care delivery solutions aimed specifically at reducing this use. These interventions have largely been unsuccessful, perhaps due to a lack of attention to patients’ social needs and engagement of patients in developing solutions.MethodsThe project team used a combination of administrative data, information culled from charts and interviews with high-risk patients to understand social needs, the current experience of addressing social needs in the hospital, and patient preferences and identified opportunities for improvement. Interviews were conducted in March and April 2020, and patients were asked to reflect on their experiences both before and during the COVID-19 pandemic.ResultsA total of 4579 patients with 26 168 visits to the emergency department and 2904 inpatient admissions in the previous year were identified. Qualitative analysis resulted in three themes: (1) the interaction between social needs, demographics, and health; (2) the hospital’s role in addressing social needs; and (3) the impact of social needs on experiences of care. Themes related to experiences before and during COVID-19 did not differ. Three opportunities were identified: (1) training for staff related to stigma and trauma, (2) improved documentation of social needs and (3) creation of navigation programmes.DiscussionCertain demographic factors were clearly associated with an increased need for social support. Unfortunately, many factors identified by patients as mediating their need for such support were not consistently captured. Going forward, high-risk patients should be included in the development of quality improvement initiatives and programmes to address social needs.
