Virtual interviews are planned for the upcoming 2020-2021 residency cycle. This presents a unique challenge for medical students. Due to the importance of the interaction of applicants and interviewers during the interview, medical students should thoroughly prepare for the upcoming virtual interview season. We offer practical and realistic concepts and techniques to optimize their interview experience. Technology and audiovisual equipment should be adjusted and enhanced to minimize video conferencing application errors and interview downtime. The applicant’s interview environment should focus on proper lighting, background, camera angles, and minimizing unwanted distractions. Mock interview sessions are invaluable to applicants and provide the opportunity to simulate the interview, refine their technology, adjust their environment, and become more comfortable in a virtual interview setting. These actions will prevent unnecessary disruptions and increase the focus of the interview toward the communication between the applicant and the interviewer.

Purpose of the study: The aim is to reveal the effects of Bangla regional dialects on English pronunciation at the tertiary level in Bangladesh.Methodology: This research paper is conducted by quantitative data analysis where the independent variable is Regional Dialect and the dependent variable is English Pronunciation. The instruments used here are flashcards with 5 problematic phonemes by using an audiovisual recording. Analysis has been done with the help of MS Excel 2013. 18 students from 6 major divisions of Bangladesh have been selected to have more concrete results to find the specific quandaries of regional dialects of Bangladesh. Their pronunciation has been video recorded and transcribed for further analysis by the researchers to achieve the results. Results: The results reveal that the tertiary level students of the Bangla medium of Bangladesh have various drawbacks in their pronunciation and this study aims to investigate the troubles followed by recommendations to improve. It is not studied before in more concrete form using statistical packages.Implication: The ELT practitioners of Bangladesh can find new solutions to the distinct problems identified in this research paper because of the influence of regional dialects of various divisions and they can incorporate the rectified idea in the field of ELT curriculum for the further development.Novelty/Originality: This work has been done by using audiovisual equipment for the collection of Data and the result has been interpreted by the researchers in a new dimensional way with the help of descriptive statistics. The problems identified here are distinct from previous work by incorporating comparative study among all the regional dialects of 6 divisions in Bangladesh. The results have been measured by MS Excel 2013 which answers more explicitly by inculcating accuracy and error count of their pronunciation where it has been revealed that specific regional dialects actually possess a powerful influence upon their English pronunciation of some learners from particular divisions.

Abstract Before the exponential diffusion of modern video broadcasting media, the history of forced migrations within Africa was mainly transmitted through the spread of individual and collective memories. Filming, instead, agglomerates memories and images by producing new overarching and often convincing interpretations of the past. This article describes how and why a documentary video on slavery in the Indian Ocean was produced and the reasons behind its narrative form. Stemming from the urge of people regarded as descendants of slaves to have their ancestral dances documented as proof of their origins, this documentary is the result of a long-range ethnographic encounter spanning time and space from the Juba River in Somalia to Malawi and the Niasa region of Mozambique. It was only audiovisual equipment like video cameras and computers that made such an amazing encounter possible.

Background: Clinical need exists to shorten door-to-needle time (DNT) for intravenous thrombolysis but effective training methods are missing. Simulation training improves teamwork and logistics in numerous fields but it is not clear if simulation improves logistics in stroke. Methodology This is a nation-wide study to evaluate efficacy of simulation training conducted between 2016-2018 and measured by DNT in centers participating in simulation training program as compared to the rest of stroke centers in the Czech Republic. Information about DNT was obtained from prospectively collected data from nationally used Safe Implementation Treatment in Stroke Registry (SITS). Outcome is improvement in DNT in 2018 as compared to 2015 (after and before the simulation training period). Scenarios are based on real clinical cases and are initiated by pre-notification from EMS through indication of thrombolysis and ends by indication for mechanical thrombectomy. Simulation courses were conducted in standardly equipped simulation center (hospital bed, stretcher, simulation monitor, artificial CT scanner, audiovisual equipment etc.). Results: Between 2016 and 2018, 10 courses were conducted for stroke teams from 9 of all 45-stroke centers in the Czech Republic. DNT was available both in 2015 and 2018 in 41 (91%) of 45 stroke centers. Stroke centers that passed simulation training improved their DNT in 2018 as compared to 2015 by 30 minutes (95%CI 25.7-34.7) as compared to 20 minutes (95%CI 15.8-24.3) in stroke centers that did not pass the simulation training (p=0.01). Conclusion: DNT considerably shortened in all stroke centers and simulation training additionally improved door-to-needle time by 10 minutes. Simulation training is useful training method to improve logistics in stroke.

This study was observational case study that examined the components of literacy-rich classroom environment at Aura Sukma Insani Kindergarten. The subjects of the research were the students and the teacher of B1 class of Aura Sukma Insani Kindergarten. The study examined the components of literacy-rich classroom environment and how it was exposed to the students during teaching and learning process. The instruments in this study consisted of researcher, observation sheet, interview guide, and literacy-rich classroom environment checklist. The results indicate that the Aura Sukma Insani Kindergarten applied all elements of classroom literacy environment, namely; classroom setup, classroom library, message center, display of students’ work, storytelling chair, sign, label, and quotes, hints, writing equipment, reading and writing corner, reference materials, audiovisual equipment, and dramatic center. The Aura Sukma Insani Kindergarten also used several activities to expose the literacy-rich classroom environment materials, namely; checking the students’ attendance using present board, setting day, date, and month on calendar board, using the printed media and classroom equipment during the learning process, and rewarding students’ achievement using students’ sticker collection and toys, reading log, book week, follow-up activity, and after-hours session class. However, the after-hours session activity that used in learning process was found less-effective due to the time and the management of the activity.

In the data analysis, it uses genetic structuralism, it looks the external factor of the literature that conveys the internal element of literary work such the actions of the main character, such as characters and author. The findings in this thesis can be seen from the characters of Amanda and Laura represents the different kinds of feminist in literaty work, Amanda is the strong woman as the representation of ideal feminist, whereas Laura is the weak woman as the representation of discriminated feminist.
