The aim of the article is to determine where the true needs of the user and the service provider are in the Grӧnoros model. To demonstrate that quality characteristics are lost in favoring functional quality. He tries to focus quality control in the non-profit sphere on quality features such as healthcare. It analyzes the technical and functional quality in terms of the needs of the manufacturer and the user. A comparison is made of the two types of quality, describing the capabilities of each. Emphasizes the economic nature of technical quality and its tendency to reproduce more than the functional one. He presents a scheme of the Grueroos model in terms of needs called "Iceberg of Need".It proves that the functional quality is favored at the expense of the technical. He tries to focus quality control in the non-profit sphere on quality features such as healthcare. The main conclusion required by the article is "More production and less marketing in the social sphere".

In manufacturing and diverse industries, quality has a main role to increase the market share. Hence, producers focus their attention to design products or services with high quality to meet the customer's expectations. Quality characteristics of products usually expressed by variables called response variables. Today's complex systems have several performance attributes in responses and designers try to select the best combination of controllable factors that satisfies all quality characteristics simultaneously. Since there are often several conflicts in quality characteristics, such as measurement units, scale and optimality directions, there are different approaches in model building and optimization of multi response surface problems. Therefore, the study of simultaneous analysis and improvement methods of the outputs are of great importance.

Setting of process variables to meet a required specification of quality characteristic (or response variable) in a process is one of common problems in the process quality control. But generally there are more than one quality characteristics in the process. In these situations, to obtain a satisfactory compromise in such a case, a decision maker (DM)’s preference information about the tradeoffs among the responses should be considered. In some cases, it is difficult for a DM to express an explicit approximation of the preference function. Therefore it can be effective to allow the decision maker to choose from a set of solutions. To this end, an algorithm is used to determine a representation of the nondominated solutions set. Such methods incorporate a posterior articulation of preferences. This paper proposes a posterior method based on taguchi’s signal-to-noise (S/N) ratios to facilitate the preference articulation process and incorporate both systematic and random deviations from target in a single criterion. Finally, the VIKOR method is used to extract of optimal compromise solution that leads to minimum variation in relative deviations of responses.

Abstract In this paper it is stated, that a set of quality features of metal matrix composite castings differs from the same set for castings of classic materials, although some features are common for both of these material groups. These features (pertaining to a set of quality characteristics of composite castings) have been named as specific, they have not been determined yet and a description of material quality should be performed (according to the qualitology) on a principle of description of quality characteristics of this product. Therefore, this set of features has been determined. It was proposed to add the following characteristics to the set of specific features of composite castings quality: matrix material, reinforcement material, binding between components and porosity of the composite casting. In this set a sub-set of quality characteristics of composite castings was also determined.
