The advancement of information and communication technologies occurs due to the evolutionary capacity of computer equipment as well as the existence of increasingly sophisticated tools and applications. Virtual laboratories, a flexible tool which allows to design, simulate, model and test through experimentation real-life processes, are an example. Virtual laboratories have a great impact on engineering as they improve accessibility to experiments, facilitating the development of strategies in the field of education; they include interactive ways to observe, illustrate, demonstrate and investigate, aside from support system users in the elaboration and exchange of results. For this reason, the experience reflected in this article highlights the design and implementation of an ecosystem for the deployment and management of virtual laboratories, based on the IMS Learning Tools Interoperability standard. In this process, the methods and technologies applicable to the development of virtual laboratories are characterized with an instructional model for experimental environments that identifies the scope of the procedure and the technical criteria, taking into account LabManager, WebLabDeusto and LMS Sakai, and finally the installation and configuration of the cloud platform and the laboratory prototype that responds to the proposed ecosystem.

The Ministry of Education and Culture of the Republic of Indonesia issued a policy to temporarily close educational activities held in schools. This policy resulted in several changes and caused a transition in the process of implementing PJOK learning. The purpose of this study is to describe the evaluation of the implementation of physical education, sports and health learning in State Junior High Schools in Salatiga during the Covid-19 pandemic. This research uses qualitative methods with a descriptive approach. The data analysis technique in this study used the Analysis Interactive Model technique from Miles and Huberman. The results of the study indicated that PJOK teachers were obliged to make learning tools such as syllabus, lesson plan (RPP), semester program (Promes) and annual program (Prota). The implementation of online learning is carried out using various internet-based applications including Google Classroom, Google From and WhatsApp (WA) as the main communication media for teachers and students for learning reminders and assignments. Learning assessments during the Covid-19 pandemic are designed to encourage meaningful learning activities for students in the form of assignments and teacher observations of students during the online learning process.

The purpose of this study was to determine the validity of physics learning devices based on discovery learning models assisted by virtual laboratories. This type of research is research and development that refers to the 4-D development model. The 4-D development model consists of four steps namely, defining, designing, developing and disseminating. Learning tools developed in the form of syllabi, lesson plans, student worksheets, and evaluation instruments. This article only focuses on the process of testing the validity of learning tools by experts. The results of the analysis of the validity and reliability state the learning device is categorized as valid and can be used in physics learning.

ABSTRACTThis development research aims to produce products in the form of guided inquiry learning models assisted by virtual laboratories to improve students' creative thinking skills. The type of research is Research and Development (R&D) with a 4D model consisting of Define, Design, Develop, and Disseminate. Products developed in the form of a syllabus, online lesson plans, student worksheets, and creative thinking skills test instruments. The validity of the product is limited by six validators with Likert scale analysis. Furthermore, practicality is determined from the results of observations through the implementation sheet and can be obtained from limited trials to get the N-gain score. The results of the research based on the facts of the validator showed that the total developed equipment had an average value above 3.30 with the very good category. Then the results of the observers showed that the average activity implementation was above 75% with the very good category. Then the results of the average N-gain test obtained a value of 0.51 in the medium category. So it can be concluded that the guided inquiry model physics learning device with virtual assistance on elasticity material and Hooke's law is valid, practical, and effective for improving students' creative thinking skills. Keywords: learning tools; guided inquiry model; virtual laboratory; creative thinking skills.

Online education provides increased accessibility and possibilities for learners in various locations and situations. Once learners decide to participate in online education, there are key aspects to consider in the teaching and learning environment to ensure the experience is effective. The purpose of this chapter is to identify characteristics of adults as learners and the role of learners and instructors in this setting. In addition, fostering competent online learners requires a dedicated support system and effective feedback processes. Future trends consist of an increase in informal learning and a decrease in formal training and workshops. Informal learning tools are being used to change the culture and learning curve within educational and organizational communities. This trend will also impact the form and function of learning assessments within the teaching and learning online environments.

Aims: This study aims to describe the efforts of teachers in implementing values education in social studies learning Study Design: This research was designed using a qualitative approach with a case study method. Place and Duration of Study: The study was conducted in 2018 from November to April 2019, in Yogyakarta Indonesia. Methodology: Subjects were 20 social studies teachers in Yogyakarta. Data collection techniques using interviews, observation, and documentation. Data validity is done by source triangulation. Data analysis using Creswell's analysis model. Results: The results showed that; Values education in social studies learning is done by identifying values that are relevant to the material and learning strategies, incorporating them in learning tools, integrating learning activities, and through social studies learning assessments. The teacher identifies values by linking general learning achievements, school vision and mission, learning material, and learning methods. In the curriculum in Indonesia, several basic values are included in the learning outcomes. The inculcation of values in learning activities is carried out directly by linking the material with values, and indirectly by providing learning activities to students which also provide student learning experiences. Conclusion: Values education in social studies learning starts from learning planning, learning implementation, and learning assessment. Values education in social studies learning is done indirectly.

Using science learning tools will optimize the learning process. Good learning process will train the skill needed in the 21st century, including the skills of argumentation. From this point of view, an science learning tool based on problem based learning with google classroom has developed in this study. This study aimeds to test the appropriateness of science learning tool and the effectiveness of science learning tool developed in improving argumentation skill. This study was an research and development (R&D) research using 4D method from Thiagarajan with four stages including define, design, develop, and disseminate. The product trials have been conducted in 7th grade students of State Junior High School 2 Magelang at second semester of year 2017/2018. The data collection was done by non-test and test technique. Based on the results of the research note that learning tools developed theoretically declared valid based on expert assessment with very good category and effective in improving students’ argumentation skill. Learning tool based on problem based learning with google classroom is a new approach to learning with the capability to the transform education in a better quality.
