Pendidikan tak bisa lepas dari proses belajar mengajar karena sejatinya pendidikan adalah wadah resmi untuk mendapat ilmu. Revolusi Industri 4.0 dan tren pengajaran Abad 21 membuat semua guru dan para pendidik harus memperbaharui cara mengajar mereka. Proses pengajaran yang erat kaitannya dengan subjek pengajaran membuat para pendidik harus senantiasa belajar lebih dalam tentang teknologi dalam proses belajar mengajar. Pembelajaran dalam jaringan (online) datang sebagai solusi, dan teknologi adalah bagian yang tidak terpisahkan dari tren pembelajaran baru ini. Pembelajaran dalam jaringan (online) ini menjadi sangat dibutukan dalam beberapa waktu terakhir dikarenakan adanya wabah COVID-19. Pendidikan terdampak dengan adanya peraturan LFH (learning from home) dan WFH (work from home). Dampaknya, keadaan ini memaksa para guru melakukan pengajaran jarak jauh/online yang tentu saja tidak bisa lepas dari penggunaan teknologi. Pembelajaran dalam jaringan (online) memerlukan bahan ajar yang cocok serta bahan ajar yang dapat dibuat melalui bantuan teknologi. Guru-guru Bahasa Inggris yang mengajar di SMK Banjarbaru masih kekurangan informasi mengenai penyusunan bahan ajar Bahasa Inggris berbasiskan keterampilan (skill-based) yang menggunakan teknologi sehingga kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini merupakan langkah untuk melakukan pendampingan pada para guru untuk dapat mendesain bahan ajar yang sesuai dengan subjek pelajaran pada siswa SMK yang berbasis keterampilan dengan bantuan teknologi. Metode yang digunakan pada kegiatan ini yaitu berupa penyampaian tentang materi bahan ajar, kemudian praktik pembuatan bahan ajar dan evaluasi dari bahan ajar yang dihasilkan para peserta selama pelatihan oleh narasumber. Sasaran dari kegiatan ini yaitu para guru Bahasa Inggris yang mengajar di SMK se-kota Banjarbaru yang berjumlah 35 peserta. Hasil dari kegiatan pengabdian ini berupa bahan ajar bahasa Inggris yang mengintegrasikan teknologi didalamnya yang dibuat oleh para peserta. Education cannot be separated from the teaching and learning process because education is an official place to gain knowledge. The Industrial Revolution 4.0 and the 21st Century teaching trends make all teachers and educators have to update their teaching methods. The teaching process which is closely related to the teaching subject makes teachers and educators constantly learn more about technology in the teaching and learning process. Online learning is coming as a solution, and technology is an integral part of this new learning trend. Online learning has become very necessary in recent times due to the COVID-19 outbreak. Education is impacted by the existence of LFH (learning from home) and WFH (work from home) regulations. As a result, this situation forces teachers to conduct distance/online teaching which of course cannot be separated from the use of technology. Online learning requires suitable teaching materials and teaching materials that can be made through technology assistance. English teachers who teach at SMK Banjarbaru still lack information about the preparation of skill-based English teaching materials that use technology so that the existence of this community service activity is a step to provide assistance to teachers to be able to design appropriate teaching materials with the subject of skills-based vocational school students with the help of technology. The methods used for this training are first explaining about teaching material, second, practice to make teaching material which integrated with technology, and last, evaluation from the speaker to fix the teaching materials which is made by the participants. The participants for this community service are 35 English vocational high school teachers in Banjarbaru. The result of this community service was teaching materials which integrated with technology designed by the participants.

This community service program carries out training on optimizing the use of Open Broadcaster Software (OBS) in online learning, primarily due to the Covid-19 pandemic. The training is given to 16 participants of SMAIT Abu Bakar Yogyakarta teachers. This training aims to introduce supporting media that can be used in the online teaching and learning process more interactively and present it live streaming via YouTube. In the pre-test, 69% of participants had never been familiar with the term OBS. Only 19% have observed people using OBS; in fact, none (0%) have ever used OBS. After the training, participants gained additional knowledge/insight about OBS, and 94% agreed that the training that had been provided made learning more structured about OBS. Participants stated that 100% agreed that OBS could be further optimized for learning. The enthusiasm of the participants can be seen from after the training. 100% of the participants will participate again if this kind of training is held

The COVID-19 pandemic that has recently hit various countries including Indonesia has resulted in major changes in various fields, including in the development of the education sector. The teaching and learning process has turned from face-to-face into an online method. However, there are several obstacles experienced by schools that implement an online learning system, one of them was the ability of teachers who do not understand various learning application platforms. In addition, the material provided by the teacher is not maximally acceptable to students because most teachers provide learning material from the pages of textbooks or teacher writings (scans, photos, or presentation files). For this reason, it is necessary to have variations in the provision of teaching materials to students by making interesting and creative learning videos using the Movavi Education Set. With learning videos, students can do lessons at home, repeat it, and can ask the teacher some points from it if they don't understand. By using Movavi Education Set, teachers are also free to be creative in making learning videos that can be shared through commonly used communication applications such as e-mail, WhatsApp, line, google classroom and other applications.

The COVID-19 pandemic led to an expansion and increase in the demand for online teaching and learning across the globe. Online teaching and learning is attracting a large number of students for enhanced learning experiences. However, there are many challenges and hindrances that pose a problem in the smooth learning. The impediments in the learning process are suppressing the advantages that may aid the learners with augmented learning sessions. The advent of the COVID-19 pandemic witnessed a significant consumption of digital contents. Teaching and learning activities, including at the State Elementary School, Pamulang, Barat, shifted to online domains. Whatsapp was consequently the initial means of engaging the students, but eventually appeared relatively monotonous and boring. This community service intends to provide a quality learning resource on the creation of video contents, using Filmora and Youtube applications. Ultimately, the overall goal is to produce highly creative and innovative teachers. These materials were delivered using sound or captivating animations. Consequently, teachers were sufficiently equipped to generate interesting videos that potentially increase students’ interest and interaction during the online learning process.

The pandemic that has hit the world has forced us to do learning indirectly or is often referred to as online (Daring). Online teaching and learning process requires some adjustments both on the teacher's side and the student's side. One of the adjustments is the need to seek technology and adaptation using technology. The currently widely used technology is online meeting services, such as the Zoom Meeting application, Google Meet, Video Calling via the Massager application, or other similar applications. To adapt to the technology, teachers at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Muhammadiyah 01 Pekanbaru strongly desire to deepen ownership of the Zoom application as one of the media used for online learning. This training aims to provide an understanding and hands-on practice of using Zoom Meeting technology to increase learning effectiveness.

This article presents a part of a study conducted to develop multimedia based teaching material for Grammar 3. It aims at describing needs and problems of students in learning Grammar 3 through a descriptive study. The data were gathered from the questionnaires distributed to the students who have taken Grammar 3 course. The result of the research conveys that 1) there is a gap between the objective of Grammar 3 course and the students’ achievement in the class, 2) students get the problems in understanding Grammar 3 due to inappropriate teaching materials used in teaching and learning process, and 3) the students need a multimedia based teaching materials to improve their understanding and achievement in Grammar 3 course.Key words/phrases:teaching material development, multimedia, need analysis, Grammar 3 APAKAH MAHASISWA MEMBUTUHKAN MATERI AJAR GRAMMAR 3 BERBASIS MULTIMEDIA?AbstrakArtikel ini merupakan salah satu bagian dari rangkaian penelitian pengembangan materi ajar Grammar 3 berbasis multimedia. Oleh karena itu, data dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner yang disebar kepada seluruh mahasiswa yang telah mengambil mata kuliah Grammar 3. In the elementary school curriculum know 2013 revision 2017 now the process of teaching and learning is based on themes, namely a teaching and learning process that has teaching materials related to the problem, and local needs that are used as themes or titles in the learning process in study groups. As a leading Islamic school SD Muhammadiyah 8 Tulangan Sidoarjo in every teaching and learning process teachers are required to always associate all teaching material with the Qur'an. The problem is that the support of open tools that can quickly find references to verses of the Qur'an related to a particular theme does not yet exist, so that the teaching and learning process becomes ineffective. To overcome this problem the author provides a program solution. This program will provide solutions that are expected to solve partner problems. The main method used is to use a tool in the form of a web-based thematic application, which is an application that can find references to Ayat Al-Qur'an related to a particular theme. In this application, users simply enter the theme to be discussed, the reference letters and verses and their meanings will appear. With this application, it is expected that teachers can quickly find references to each theme in each teaching material while making time efficiency.

Learning media is a useful tool and intermediary for facilitating the teaching and learning process to streamline communication between teachers and students. This community service activity is divided into three main activities, namely the delivery of concepts or theories of multimedia, types of multimedia, the use of multimedia, and making presentations using practical and interactive PowerPoints tools; second, training on how to use PowerPoint effectively; and third, evaluation on the ability of training participants in making multimedia-based teaching materials.

This paper aims to reveal factors that affect the students' participation in a speaking online class. The subjects are the second and fourth semester students of English department, Language and Culture Faculty, UNTAG Semarang. The research was held during the even semester of the academic year 2020/2021. The research method used in this study is a qualitative method. The data was based on the interview and the questionnaires filled by the students. Some technical issues came up in the online class such as internet connection which mostly became the hottest issue and also the device being used which was sometimes not compatible to the program used in the teaching and learning process. Those issues somehow have affected the online teaching and learning process. The other issues affected in online learning are students’ contribution and students’ condition. For those, it is hoped that the research will give a clearer explanation especially for the teachers who are struggling on teaching the online class and face a similar situation. In accordance with the paradigm of 21st century education, teachers are required to facilitate students with the learning process which addresses the improvement of students’ higher thinking skill. The community service which was conducted in  MTs Al Ikhlas Soe, East Nusa Tenggara was aimed at: 1) culturing as well as developing students’ literacy in school; 2) improving students’ capacity in literacy; 3) managing students’ knowledge and higher thinking skill, as considerable as 4) elevating teachers’ professionalism so that learning process can be more effective and efficient. The methods used were lecture, discussion, brainstorming, simulation, and assignment. The materials delivered were about the arrangement and development of literacy-oriented teaching materials. The product produced from the training was implemented in learning process on VII graders. This was aimed to observe whether there was an improvement gained after the training given. The participants of this community service were 13 teachers and 34 students of MTs Al Ikhlas Soe. The results showed that teachers’ skill in arranging teaching materials has been improved. Furthermore, students’ understanding about the concept or their knowledge related to the materials has been upgraded after experiencing the implementation of literacy-oriented learning.
