The article substantiates the features of leadership in the professional activity of a teacher. It is emphasized that leadership is a specific type of management relationship, which is based on social interaction, and the leader in this situation is an innovator. The functional differences of a leadership (regulation of interpersonal relations in the team, spontaneity) and management (organization of official relations of the group as a certain social organization, purposefulness, control of various elements of social structure) are determined. It is argued that a person's leadership qualities mean a set of their psychological qualities, abilities and features of intragroup interaction that ensure the success of their leadership functions. Important leadership behavioral qualities of a leader: responsibility, cooperation, personal development, resilience, awareness, integrity. The organizational and managerial qualities of a teacher-leader (professional competence, moral qualities, ability to work, culture of taking into account different points of view, etc.) are systematized and the differences in the activity of a teacher-functionary and a teacher-leader are determined. It is noted that the effectiveness of leadership is determined by the teacherʼs ability to perceive and satisfy the specific needs of the group at each stage and choose the appropriate style of influence, harmoniously combining individual and group needs while providing the necessary conditions for completing the assignment. The main problem of leadership is to maintain consensus and unity of the staff of the educational organization on the basis of common goals and values, the implementation of a specific approach to reveal the individual potential of staff. It is concluded that the training of a teacher-leader should be aimed at developing his analytical skills, at the formation of design and modeling competencies, at stimulating the individual to a possible solution of the problems in difficult and uncertain situations, at the ability to respond not only quickly but also on the basis of various strategies behavior. This article is aimed at researching the phenomenon of leadership, analyzing the qualities of project leaders and defining the key qualities that project managers should have to effectively manage teams and achieve maximum results. The article defines that in order to ensure effective management of the project team with dynamic changes in the external environment, the project manager must be not only a director, but also a leader at the same time. It is precisely the leadership qualities of the project manager, which provide the ability to coordinate the team’s work in such a manner that certain results be achieved, i.e., the expectations of the main stakeholders be fulfilled or exceeded. The article examines the most characteristic traits inherent in leaders, which are highlighted by various researchers of the «traits theory». It is determined that of importance for a project manager is not only certain traits of the leader, but also professional competence. The criteria for assessing the level of competence of project managers in accordance with the ICB4 standard, as well as the necessary skills in relation to the individual competence of «Leadership», are specified. The main qualities and skills of the leader-manager according to the latest version of the PMBOOK project management standard are also considered. The research carried out by the authors resulted in distinguishing the most important qualities of the leader, which, combined with the necessary professional knowledge and skills, will allow project managers to become successful and effective in team cohesion to achieve the best results in project activities. The traits allocated as result of the research, such as responsibility, perseverance, ability to cooperate, kindness and others, will allow project managers to be successful leaders of their teams and to effectively manage projects and programs.

The article deals with the theoretical and technological aspects of the formation and effective functioning of the education system in the conditions of a technical university. The actual problem of the formation, improvement and effective functioning of the upbringing system is highlighted and presented. The problem between the increased requirements of the state and society for the preparation of future specialists capable of active professional activity, on the one hand, and the harsh conditions of the modern socio-economic system, requiring the individual to be able to effectively work, on the other hand. The emphasis is on the periods and levels of development of the educational system at the university. Technological and methodological mechanisms of formation and further effective functioning of the educational system in the conditions of a technical university are presented. The elements of scientific novelty are indicated in the orientation towards personal development and the qualitative level of professional training of the future engineer. According to the results of the study, the authors came to the conclusion that the educational system of a technical university is relevant, objectively expedient in the field of vision of each member of the team, if it moves along the path of humanization, based on democratic principles, and a creative approach is carried out in the organization of activities.

As a result of the rapid development of intercultural communication and global transformations taking place in the world in the 90s of the XX century, it became necessary to create a new personality with a new set of qualities and competencies that are urgently needed for the rational functioning in a multicultural world. For the successful performance of professional duties is not enough to be a specialist who knows job, today. Modern Ukrainian society needs educated professionals who can think critically and make decisions independently in a situation that requires a choice, that is, to be dynamic, mobile, creative. That is, the main feature of professional activity is its development, which requires constant updating and improvement of skills. Each specialist should acquire new knowledge and improve their skills, and, consequently, improve their professional qualities. According to research, professionals who are not engaged in improving professional competence, there comes a time in life when they have internal dissatisfaction with their activities and they need to improve professional skills, or even change their professional orientation. Given the large variety of information technologies at all educational levels, it is not difficult to improve your professional level, and mobile learning is a way to solve a number of educational problems today. In this regard, the relevance of communicative education of future police officers is increasing. After all, the need to train a competent police officer capable of effective professional activity in a multi-ethnic environment is a priority in the training of future police officers in the parameters of European standards. The socio-cultural aspect in the professional training of future police officers is not only the formation of communicative competence, but also the space of interpersonal relations, in which a holistic culture of the individual is formed. The article presents an analysis of the diagnostic results of the formation of communicative competence of the future police officer. The results demonstrate the levels of formation of communicative competence of future police officers in cognitive, emotional and behavioural components.

The relevance of the research is determined by the increasing risks related to incorrect communication both professional and interpersonal ones within the ship crew, which, in turn, emphasizes the importance of professional English-language training for a navigator, which begins during the period of study at a university and lasts throughout the entire career. The requirements for proficiency in professional English-language communication are regulated by international standards, which is of great importance in assessing the professional competence of a navigator. The research problem is as follows: how does English-language vocational training at a maritime university affect interpersonal relations in mixed crews, the professional growth of a sailor and reduce the risks in his professional activity? The aim of the study is to determine the main tasks of a university professional English-language training in the format of negotiating at sea in order to minimize possible risks in the work of a deck officer. The research methods used are analysis, synthesis, generalization. The experimental base was the Institute of Water Transport named after G.Ya. Sedov. The research results. Professional risks of a navigator have been analyzed, factors and consequences of risks at sea have been identified; the meanings of the concepts of «language barrier», «human factor», «barrier of misunderstanding», «communicative risk» have been disclosed; the influence of flexible skills on the safety of life and work in a team have been substantiated; the theory of continuous professional English-speaking training of seafarers has been described. Key findings: communication skills of navigators should be formed by integrating English into the disciplines of the professional cycle; the introduction of modern educational technologies in the process of teaching professional maritime English, continuous professional development of English teachers. Development of social partnership will increase the efficiency of the process itself.

The article deals with the acmeological aspects of responsible behavior of a specialist in the sociological profile. The professionalism of a specialist in the sociological profile is the high level of development of professional competence, individual qualities and personality traits. Professionalism is an inalienable degree to its highest quality – the level of skill in a particular activity. A specialist in the sociological profile is a mature person by all means. Acmeology considers maturity as the ability to self-improvement (physical, moral, psychic, professional) by means of self-education, self-design, self-planning, self-organization and self-organization, self-control, self-correction by a person of his own activities. The main factor of creative development of a person (specialist of sociological profile), an indispensable condition for internal education, readiness for responsible and successful activity, e education. For all representatives of socio-economic occupations inherent desire to reach the peaks in their profession through self-development. In the course of self-development on the basis of professionalism, through the strategies of cooperation, responsibility is formed: oneself, close people, microsotsium, mesosotsium, macrosiums. Responsibility is programmed by certain actions. Professional responsibility is an acmeological invariant of the specialist of the «man-man» system. The article describes the types of professional and personal development: altercentered, conventional, dominant, and research (cognitivized). The professional ethics as a system of moral requirements for the professional activity of a person are analyzed. The categories of professional ethics are: professional duty, professional responsibility, professional conscience, professional honor, professional dignity, etc. The basis of professional compliance is the actual relationship between the result of professional activity (pragmatic and psychological) and its consequences for the individual and society. Professional deprivation implies a conscientious attitude to work. A professionally responsible specialist performs his professional duties in a qualitative way. A very important factor in the successful implementation of the professional activity of a specialist in the sociological field is his responsible professional behavior, in the process of formation of which considerable factors are acquired such factors as joy – gloom, pessimism – optimism, euphoria – wisdom.

The article discusses the problem of self-actualization of a personality in its professional activity and achieving the peak of its personal development. Based on the analysis of various psychological theories and concepts it is shown that achieving of “acme” by a personality is based on the desire to grow and develop professionally or on its desire for self-actualization. Self-actualization can be better seen during the periods of professional crisis, which activate the processes of professional self-determination of a personality. One of the types of crisis is the transition from the level of normative requirements to the level of professional competence. Judging by the example of results of some investigations it is proved that there are differences in attitude to profession and desire to grow and develop professionally in people with working experience under and over 5 years, which can be conditioned by the crisis mentioned above. The applied aspect of the problem under study can be realized in counseling practices of psychological services connected with professional growth, by HR professionals, with the aim of promotion and professional growth of employees, and in development of programs for development and harmonization of internal and external conditions for self-actualization of a person. The results of the analysis of foreign and domestic approaches to the interpretation and understanding of quest technologies are presented. It is noted that in order to create the proper conditions for the formation of future police officers professional competence, motivational focus on positive personal changes and the desire for professional self-development, it is advisable to use the possibilities of innovative teaching technologies, in particular, trainings and quests. During such classes, participants have the opportunity to learn how to quickly make the right decisions within the limits of their professional competence, applying the obtained theoretical knowledge, as well as to master and consolidate the necessary skills. The educational quest is highlighted as a separate form of design technologies. The features of the developed professional-psychological police quest with elements of the training "Features of the district police officer’s activities" are revealed, its consistent stages are characterized: organizational and preparatory, implementation and final. It is noted that the basis of the police quest is the situational method, the content of which is aimed at mastering the algorithm of actions by the cadets associated with the implementation of the service tasks of the police. It has been revealed that the use of a professional-psychological police quest is an active form of group work and provides the use of set measures aimed at increasing the level of professional training of police officers, developing and changing the structure of interpersonal relations, educational and professional motivation, and contributes to the self-realization of the individual within the professional space. The authors emphasize the advisability of using a police quest, which contributes to the increase of professional competence level due to the increase of the study time amount allocated for practical work, the independent acquisition and use of new knowledge and skills in practice, making the right decisions within the framework of their professional competence, and well-coordinated teamwork.

The article presents the meaning of the concepts of “professional and pedagogical activityˮ, “professional developmentˮ and shows that professional development is a multifaceted process of acquiring and using new knowledge, skills and qualities that are necessary for highly effective implementation of professional pedagogical activity. It is noted that professional development is a process of transforming the teacher’s individuality, aimed at self-improvement and achievement of acmeological peaks in professional activity; the features of professional and pedagogical activity of a teacher of higher military educational institution are singled out in the article. The stages of professional development of a teacher (choice of profession, professional education and training, professional adaptation, professional competence, professionalism, mastery and innovation) are analyzed. It is identified that self-improvement is implemented in two interrelated ways: self-education and personal development. A brief meaningful characteristic of these concepts is offered. The stages of self-improvement of scientific and pedagogical workers are characterized: the stage of self-knowledge (the initial stage of cognitive activity of a person), the stage of creating a personal self-improvement program (formation of goals and ideals for achieving one’s goal), the stage of implementation of self-improvement program (professional development implementation complex), the stage of control and regulation of self-improvement process (evaluation of achieved results). On the basis of theoretical analysis and selected results of the empirical research, the author offers advice for teachers of higher military educational institutions for their professional self-improvement. It is determined that constant improvement of professional skills is an important factor in the professional development of a scientific and pedagogical worker. In the article self-education as a component of professional training acts as a way to implement it. In this context, the self-education of future educators, we mean the process that ensures the continuity of raising the educational level and expanding the information field of professionals, improving the quality and raising the level of their competence and professionalism, related to personal development and participation in general and pedagogical culture. Serves to form a worldview, because the student is the subject of management of their own educational activities during professional training. Based on the analysis of different approaches to the definition of "self-educational competence" in the context of this study, we consider this term as an integrative phenomenon characterized by stable internal motivation, the formation of professionally significant personal qualities, skills and abilities to organize cognitive personality. search activities aimed at a continuous process of professional development; and is an integral part of the professional competence of the specialist and an indicator of the success of his professional activity. Given the above, it is possible to state the close connection between the concept of "self-education" and the concept of "vocational training"; self-education should be understood as a way to implement this training, which, accordingly, aims to form a skilled worker capable of developing strategies for professional development as a result of self- education. This is one of the most important prerequisites for further professional realization of him as a specialist In this regard, higher education faces the task of developing more effective learning technologies and creating conditions that would be focused on stimulating students' self- education. The purpose of the article is to theoretically substantiate the key concepts "educator", "future educator", "self-education", "competence", "formation of self- educational competence". Methods: analysis, systematization and generalization of psychological and pedagogical literature in order to clarify the state of development of the research problem and clarify the conceptual apparatus.

Статтю присвячено теоретичному аналізу місця і ролі соціального інтелекту в процесі професійного становлення особистості. Узагальнено напрямки розробки проблематики впливу соціального інтелекту на професійне становлення майбутніх фахівців у працях сучасних українських та російських авторів. Проаналізовано психолого-педагогічні погляди на сутність поняття "професійне становлення" та з’ясовано, що його прикметною характеристикою є соціальний інтелект як здатність, що зумовлює ефективність міжособистісної взаємодії, соціальної адаптації та реалізації професійних функцій фахівця. Обґрунтовано роль соціального інтелекту в досконалому оволодінні майбутніми фахівцями своєю професійною діяльністю і продуктивному вирішенні фахових завдань, для чого необхідно правильно розуміти власну поведінку та поведінку інших людей, уміти налагоджувати ефективну взаємодію у групі та формувати команду. Встановлено, що соціальний інтелект відіграє важливу роль у фаховій підготовці студента, він дає змогу розуміти самого себе та вчинки інших людей, їх вербальні і невербальні реакції, отже, виступає важливою когнітивною складовою структури комунікативних здібностей особистості. Соціальний інтелект забезпечує розширення меж комунікативного простору в контексті процесів глобалізації, розвитку міжкультурної комунікації, посилення інтегративних тенденцій в науці, відповідає за закономірності побудови "картини соціального світу", тобто функціонування механізмів перцепції, декодування і конструювання уявлень про широке коло соціальних реалій. Саме соціальний інтелект забезпечує адекватність соціального пізнання, допомагає прогнозувати розвиток міжособистісних відносин, загострює інтуїцію та гарантує успішність фахової підготовки особистості. The article is devoted to theoretical analysis of the role and place of social intelligence in the process of professional formation of the personality. Summarizes directions of development perspectives of the influence of social intelligence on professional formation of future specialists in the works of modern Ukrainian and Russian authors. Analyzed psychological and pedagogical views on the essence of the concept "professional development" and found that its distinguishing characteristic is social intelligence as the ability that determines the effectiveness of interpersonal relations, social adaptation and realization of the professional duties of a specialist. The role of social intelligence in the perfect mastering by future specialists in their professional activity and productive decision of professional problems, which is necessary to properly understand their behavior and the behavior of other people, to be able to establish effective communication in the group and building a team. Found that social intelligence plays an important role in the professional preparation of the student, it gives you the opportunity to understand themselves and the actions of others, their verbal and nonverbal reactions, therefore, is an important cognitive component of the structure of communicative abilities of the individual. Social intelligence provides the expansion of the boundaries of the communicative space in the context of globalization, intercultural communications, strengthening of the integrative trends in science, is responsible for the patterns of constructing a "picture of the social world", that functioning mechanisms, perception, decoding and the construction of ideas about a wide range of social realities. Social intelligence provides the adequacy of social cognition that helps to predict the development of interpersonal relationships sharpens intuition and guarantees the success of professional training of the individual.
