The article is devoted to current issues of lesson design based on student expected learning outcomes. One of the distinctive features of recently approved new Federal State Educational Standards for primary and basic general education is refined and detailed requirements for the expected educational outcomes. In this regard, tools for the teacher to develop those outcomes in order to plan a lesson or a study course in a logical way taking into account the educational interests of students are in dire need. The authors of the article consider the Understanding by Design model as such a tool, since this framework makes it possible to design learning outcomes (distinguishing between understanding, acquisition and transfer goals) and direct the learning process towards desired results. The article provides theoretical foundations for the development of an instructional design model, examines the stages of the design of learning outcomes, the selection of study activities and the identification of teaching strategies. A description of the first stage of design — the design of the expected learning outcomes according to different facets of understanding and of the acquisition and transfer goals — is given in detail.

The article discusses the features of building the process of familiarizing elementary schoolchildren with scientific methods of cognition (observation, experience) and their application to obtain new knowledge, solve educational, practical and educational-cognitive problems. This direction of educational activity of schoolchildren implements meta-subject learning outcomes in accordance with the requirements of the Federal State Educational Standard of Primary General Education, and also forms the basis of natural-scientific functional literacy among younger schoolchildren. On the basis of the author’s study, the principles of adapting scientific methods of cognition for use as ways of organizing learning activities are determined; the main stages of the formation of the ability of students to use scientific methods of cognition in students are identified.

The article reveals the goals and methods of organizing the differential education of primary schoolchildren in mathematics, which involves taking into account the individuality, level of ability and degree of independence of each schoolchild, as well as providing him with timely assistance in case of difficulties. Methods of differentiation and means of assisting students are described, which are used by the teacher in the classroom to solve various types of arithmetic problems. The effectiveness of a differentiated approach to the formation of mathematical literacy of primary schoolchildren is emphasized, which makes it possible to guarantee compliance with the requirements of the Federal State Educational Standard of Primary General Education with the planned learning outcomes.

The paper presents a new way to classify types of lessons for the primary education, which, in the author’s opinion, helps to efficaciously meet requirements, put forward by the Federal State Educational Standards of Primary General Education (FSES PGE), and to achieve planned learning outcomes. Types of lessons are characterized depending on the top-priority educational goal.

The article deals with the problem of the difficulties encountered by Russian students in applying the gained knowledge in solving practicaloriented mathematical problems, revealed as a result of international and domestic research. An approach is proposed for the implementation of the basic requirement of the Federal State Educational Standard for Basic General Education - the formation of meta-subject learning outcomes. The analysis of the potential of the practice-oriented tasks used in the course of mastering the mathematics course of the primary school with the aim of achieving meta-subject learning outcomes is presented.

The article discusses the ways to implement in the pedagogical practice the requirements of the Federal State Educational Standard of Primary General Education to form the basis for the younger schoolchildren of the ability to learn and the ability to organize their activities, which refers to metasubjective results of learning. It offers techniques that allow to level the difficulties and eliminate potential problems of primary school graduates in performing tasks based on working with information and associated with the development of logical and algorithmic thinking, the construction of reasoning, predictions and conclusions.

The article outlines a range of methodological problems that arise when teaching younger schoolchildren, the ability to use information presented in the form of diagrams. Modern textbooks of mathematics for elementary school and methodological recommendations to them related to the topic “Diagrams” of the section “Working with information” are analyzed. Since the development in younger schoolchildren of the skills of working with visual sign-symbolic means of graphical presentation of information is one of the requirements of the Federal State Educational Standard of Primary General Education for meta-subject learning outcomes, the author proposes methodological techniques and a system of assignments that allow to eliminate the current and potential difficulties of primary school students when mastering charts.

According the requirements of the new Federal State Educational Standards of General Education, the article examines the experience of generating metasubject learning outcomes at informatics lessons by the example of performing by technical school students the project and research work to study 3D modeling, 3D printing and additive technologies. The stages of the project are described in detail: study of the theory of the additive process of layer-by-layer model creation; development in the SolidWorks system of the graphic part of the work on creating a prototype; printing of a prototype on a 3D printer; making calculations to justify the benefits of using a 3D prototype; checking the performance of the finished product, the possibility of its use in laboratory and educational purposes; developing recommendations for working with a 3D printer.
