Abstract: Young people participation would be runs to the maximum by being given the opportunity and place to be creative carried out as volunteers. The experience and learning process of working both online and offline voluntarily can increase the knowledge, practical skills, and experience of every volunteer. Qualitative research with an ethnographic approach is implemented to find the context and social interactions that occur between volunteers and the environment in which they are active. Opportunities for self-development through acts of sincere and noble service become significant to continue to be developed in the midst of society and become a habituation as a form of strengthening character and character so that character education can continue to be turned on and become a servant for themselves and for people around them.

The purpose of this research was to describe and analyze the planning, implementation, and evaluation of responsible character education based on school culture. A qualitative approach is taken in this investigation. An SMP Muhammadiyah Plus Salatiga sample was used in the analysis. In order to gather accurate information about the subject matter, the authors employ qualitative research methods, such as interviews and documentation. There are two ways to implement educational character education in the classroom: first, incorporate it into the school's curricula and rules, then spread the word to the students and staff. Character education for responsibility is carried out by incorporating the character of responsibility into self-development programs, subjects, and school culture. 2. This includes classroom and school-wide activities in which character values are taught and practiced. Students' attitudes are assessed as a means of evaluating responsibility character education.

Ethnomatematics is mathematics that is practiced by cultural groups, such as rural and urban communities in carrying out certain cultural activities. Culture can be in the form of works such as buildings that have certain characteristics. Mathematics with the application of culture will make it easier for students in the learning process. This study aims to determine the ethnomatematics of Jabung temple in Jabung village, Probolinggo and as a material for making student test packages in the form of questions. This type of research is qualitative research with an ethnographic approach. Data collection methods used were observation and interviews. This study shows that there are mathematical concepts in the Jabung temple including rectangle, triangle, circle, rhombus, tube, beam, similarity, congruence, translation, reflection, dilatation. The results of this study were student test packages for class IX SMP / MTs. which contains ethnomatematics in Jabung temple. Keywords: ethnomatematics, jabung temple, test packages

Mathematics is one of the sciences that is often used in culture. Forms of cultural activities containing mathematical concepts are called ethnomatematics. Mathematics related to culture will make it easier for students in the learning process. The purpose of this research is to know and describe ethnomatematics on the activities of batik in Batik Production Batik Dewi Sinta Banyuwangi and as material for student worksheet. This type of research is qualitative research with ethnographic approach. The data were collected form observation and interview. The research subjects were owners and employees at the Batik Production Batik Dewi Sinta Banyuwangi. This research uses descriptive qualitative data analysis. This research showed that there were mathematical concepts on the activities of batik in Batik Production Batik Dewi Sinta Banyuwangi wich includes counting, calculating, measuring, and designing activities. The product of this research is a teaching material in the form of student worksheet for class VII which contains ethnomatematics in batik activity. The application of soft skills we know and we know in the learning process we usually understand into character education. The mission of El-Yamien Tuban Natural Elementary School explained about the development of soft skills for students. In the process of self-development berakhlakul karimah is a part of the moral curriculum that is owned by el-yamien elementary school to apply good character education with habituation and example. Programs in basic education make the surrounding environment as a source of learning also directly related to building character education, especially to instill a loving soul and care for the surrounding environment.

This research aims to analyze the efforts of the head of Madrasah in developing organizational culture and teacher’s performance in learning process. This is a qualitative research, with observation, interview and documentation as the data collection tehniques. The research is conducted at MIN 5 Majalengka regency, as many as 5 (five) respondent are interviewed during the research. The research finds that (1) the organizational culture at MIN 5 Majalengka regency appears in some school activities, brotherhood atmosphere, and good examples performed by the head of madrasah; (2) The efforts of the head of madrasah to develop  school’s organizational culture done in two ways through the head of madrasah’s role and responsibility as the leader of the school and through students’ self development activities; (3) The techniques employed by the head of madrasah to develop teacher’s performance are through class visit, personal meeting, teacher meeting, work-group discussion, teacher training and guidance.

The Character Education through Arts: An Analysis of the Dance Learning Process in High Schools. This research aims to describe the practice of character education through the dance learning process in high schools, criticizing high schools’ approach for instilling character education to an attitude of tolerance and appreciative towards cultural diversity in Indonesia. It s qualitative research with an ethnocoreology and multicultural approach. The study used a purposive sampling method to determine the sample and selected schools that develop a multicultural educational dimension. The ethnocoreology approach is to observe embodiment experiences to the students who study local dance and Nusantara dance. A Multicultural approach is applied to monitor education for empowerment by using Ki Hadjar Dewantara’s Arts Education concept at schools. Data collection was conducted by observation, field study, literature, interviews, and documentation. Matthew B. Milles and A. Michael Huberman’s data reduction stages, data exposure, and concluding were used to analyze the data.The research findings show that (1) dance learning in high schools is an educational tool and an appropriate means to instill character education. It is an effort to positively influence students’ lives as a tool to control the students’ souls towards beauty, nobility, and refinement to live harmoniously and empowered. (2) Character education in dance lessons is by applying to appreciate, expressing, and creating dance works. (3) From a multicultural education perspective, the experience of the dancers’ needs will foster an attitude of tolerance and appreciation.Keywords: character education; dance learning; high school

Character education applied to students is the essence of the learning process. Islamic religious education is one of the compulsory subjects which contains a lot of character material. So that the implementation of student morals in schools require to be considered properly. This research aims to (1) describe the forms of moral improvement of students at SMP Negeri 7 Bondowoso, (2) describe the steps for improving the morals of students at SMP Negeri 7 Bondowoso. This research using qualitative research methodology and data collection technique by observation, interview, documentation. The data was analyzed by data reduction, display, as well as taking the result and verification technique. The result of this research is the form of students' morals which consists of morals to others and morals to God. Meanwhile, the steps to improve students' morals consist of direct and indirect improvements.

Abstract: The purpose of this study was to determine the character education in the Pancasila subject for STKIP PGRI Lubuklinggau Students. How is character education integrated in the learning process contained in the values of Pancasila. Its application for the world of education in higher education is through Lecturers who teach the Pancasila course. The research method used is a qualitative description method. The instrument used in this study was direct observation in the field. Researchers in this qualitative research are lecturers in the Pancasila subject at STKIP PGRI Lubuklinggau. Results and discussion, namely: 1) Character and Local Wisdom is a character as an Indonesian human being built through ethical values that come from local wisdom on elements of religion, state philosophy, and culture. Becoming a multicultural nation is a gift and continues to be an Indonesian man with noble character and character, 2) Character Education in the Pancasila Course for STKIP PGRI Lubuklinggau Students, namely the campus as an educational institution is a place to develop themselves and also form good character. Through the Pancasila course, character education can be applied from this.It should also be explained that the Pancasila course must be taken as the essence of strengthening the character and local wisdom of the nation. The implementation of character education in Pancasila courses must also be applied in campus activities as well as in positive activities in the general public. Lecturers who teach Pancasila courses must be really able to practice the values contained in every material they teach. The application of character education will later leave an impression on students to become students who are smart, have broad insight, and have a love for the country and the nation. Abstrak: Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pendidikan karakter pada mata kuliah Pancasila Mahasiswa STKIP PGRI Lubuklinggau. Bagaimana pendidikan karakter yang menyatu dalam proses pembelajaran yang terkandung didalam nilai-nilai Pancasila. Penerapanya bagi dunia pendidikan di perguruan tinggi melalui Dosen pengampu mata kuliah Pancasila. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode deskripsi kualitatif. Instrument yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini berupa pengamatan secara langsung dilapangan. Peneliti dalam penelitian kualitatif ini adalah sebagai Dosen pengampu mata kuliah Pancasila di STKIP PGRI Lubuklinggau. Hasil dan pembahasan, yaitu: 1) Karakter dan Kearifan Lokal adalah Karakter sebagai manusia Indonesia dibangun melalui nilai-nilai etika yang bersumber dari kearifan lokal atas unsur agama, filsafat negara, dan budaya. Menjadi sebuah bangsa yang multikulutural adalah sebuah anugerah dan tetap menjadi manusia Indonesia yang berkarakter dan berbudi pekerti yang luhur, 2) Pendidikan Karakter Pada Mata Kuliah Pancasila Mahasiswa STKIP PGRI Lubuklinggau, yaitu Kampus sebagai lembaga pendidikan merupakan tempat mengembangkan diri dan juga membentuk karakter yang baik. Melalui mata kuliah Pancasila, pendidikan karakter dapat diterapkan dari hal tersebut. Perlu juga dijelaskan bahwa mata kuliah Pancasila harus diambil inti sarinya sebagai penguatan karakter dan kearifan lokal bangsa. Penerapan pendidikan karakter mata kuliah Pancasila juga harus diaplikasikan dalam kegiatan-kegiatan kampus maupun kegiatan yang positif di lingkungan masyarakat umum. Dosen pengampu mata kuliah Pancasila harus benar-benar mampu mengamalkan nilai-nilai yang terkandung dalam setiap materi yang diajarkannya. Penerapan pendidikan karakter nantinya akan membekas dalam diri mahasiswa untuk menjadi mahasiswa yang cerdas, berwawasan luas, dan memiliki rasa cinta tanah air dan bangsa.

Changes in the pattern of the learning process that we are experiencing today are a side effect of the pandemic. This pandemic has turned the learning process online. The learning process in higher education is also carried out through e-learning to facilitate the distance learning process in character education insight courses. The aim is to determine the planning, implementation, and role of e-learning in distance learning in character education insight courses. The research method used is qualitative research. This type of research uses descriptive methods to describe events that actually occur in the field. The source of this research was the fifth semester PGMI students at Staipana Bangil, especially in the character education insight course. Data collection techniques through observation, interviews, documentation and document tracing. Data analysis is obtained from all data in the field, presenting data and reducing data, verifying data, and finally drawing conclusions. So that the research results consist of: 1) planning can be seen from the RPS and RPKM as well as e-learning applications used in the learning process; 2) its implementation through interactive, independent e-learning, accessibility and enrichment in increasing character values; 3) its role is as an internet-based teaching material, a learning medium for the inculcation of character values, a paradigm changer in a more contemporary and flexible learning process, increasing the ability to use digital technology for lecturers and students.

ABSTRACTThis paper is about the Implementation of Character Education through FilmMedia in Learning Islamic Education in SMP Negeri 1 Cempa, Pinrang Regency.The purpose of this study is to describe the planning, implementation, and impactof the implementation of character education through film media in the learningprocess of Islamic Education in SMP Negeri 1 Cempa, Pinrang Regency.This research is a qualitative research with a naturalistic paradigm. Theinstruments used in this study are: observation guidelines, interview guidelines,and researchers as key instruments. The informants interviewed in this study wereprincipals, deputy heads of curriculum, Islamic Education teachers, and students.The results showed that the planning of character education using the film SunanKalijaga in the learning process of Islamic Education was done by planning in theform of a Learning Implementation Plan (RPP) supervised by the school, reviewingthe media, and reviewing learning material. The implementation of charactereducation is done by integrating character values into the material of IslamicEducation, especially related to moral material using the film Sunan Kalijaga thatis applied using the inquiry method. The implementation of character educationthrough film media in the learning of Islamic Education has an impact inimproving the quality of learning that is more fun, motivating, inspiring, andmeaningful. In addition, students are inspired to live up to character values such ascaring, courtesy and honesty to be applied in daily interactions.
