Abstract This paper describes the implementation of the autofocus function for the laser beam into the high-speed, phase-sensitive laser probe system for RF SAW/BAW devices. This implementation can compensate defocus caused during continuous measurements that take dozens of hours. After a brief explanation of the system used in this work, detailed discussion is given on an employed evaluation function indicating focus status, which is a key factor determining autofocus reliability. It is shown that the sum of energy of Laplacians is suitable as the evaluation function, which can be calculated by the image of the probing laser spot captured by a build-in CCD camera. Then, the implementation of the autofocus function into the current system is detailed. It is confirmed that this function can adjust the focus within almost ±20 μm defocus conditions. Finally, it is confirmed how the implemented autofocus function works effectively to keep just-in-focus under the disturbance.

According to the characteristics of micro parts microscopic detection image, including the image texture is similar, the edge information is too little and the gray distribution Range is limited, based on the basic principles of algorithm, analyzes the traditional sharpness evaluation function. Aiming at the defect that the traditional sharpness evaluation function cannot have both high sensitivity and noise immunity, an algorithm based on local variance information entropy is proposed. The method uses the local variance to weight the self-information of each gray level, on the one hand, it makes up for the lack of spatial information of information entropy and avoids misjudgement of sharpness; on the other hand, it can increase the weights of clear region pixels when they participate in the calculation of information, while reducing the weights of background and noise region pixels, thereby improve the function sensitivity. The experimental results show that compared with the traditional sharpness evaluation function, the local variance information entropy function not only has high sensitivity, but also has better noise immunity and is suitable for actual auto-focusing systems.

AbstractEvaluation has to reflect the evolving priorities of development and measure progress on their achievement. At the same time, evaluation must also incorporate newer demands from within the field such as increasing equity focus in evaluations, gender mainstreaming, and human rights. Environment and climate change became mainstreamed into the programming of development organizations following the Rio Earth Summit in 1992 and formation of financing mechanisms such as the Global Environment Facility (GEF) in 1991. This chapter reflects on how the Independent Office of Evaluation (IOE) of the International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD) addressed the growing demands on the evaluation function in terms of incorporating concerns on environment and climate within existing methodological frameworks, and also adapting its methodology to meet internal and external evaluation demands. The chapter considers how evolving methodologies, methods, and tools have helped IFAD overcome these issues.

This research used the Modern Chinese Research Corpus System constructed by Beijing Language and Culture University as the corpus source, and analyzed the pragmatic functions of Modern Chinese adverbs “zhen”, “zhenshi” and “zhende” which are located before the predicate and are used as sentence adverbial. The results show that these adverbs have similarities and differences in pragmatic functions. The adverb “zhen” has four pragmatic functions: one is to confirm authenticity, the other is to express subjective evaluation, the third is to express a high degree of authenticity, and the fourth is to make hypotheses. The adverb “zhenshi” has only one pragmatic function, that is, the subjective evaluation function. The adverb “zhende” has two pragmatic functions: one is to confirm authenticity, and the other is to express subjective evaluation. The adverb “zhenshi” and “zhende” can appear together with the degree adverbs “tai” and “hen”, but the adverb “zhen” cannot appear with the degree adverbs. The adverb “zhen” and the adverb “zhende” can be replaced with each other, and the meaning of the sentence remains unchanged after the replacement.

Intellectual property pledge financing is effective in alleviating the financing problems of scientific and technological enterprises to a certain extent. However, compared with traditional loans, intellectual property pledge financing is at greater risk with an eye to the particularity of intellectual property pledges. Therefore, it is very important to evaluate the risk of intellectual property pledge financing. This article first outlines the information entropy method, functionalizing indicator data and weight data, and applies the combination of the weight function and indicator function in dynamic evaluation function, to get the final evaluation result. Second, taking four high-tech listed companies on the growth enterprises market (GEM) as example, an evaluation indicator system has been constructed with 16 relevant financial indicators from 2015 to 2019. Then, based on the dynamic function method, we can construct the evaluation function to describe the change trend of the financial indicators of enterprises with a comparison of the advantages and disadvantages of the financial indicators of enterprises. Finally, this article has made a comprehensively comparative analysis on the dynamic evaluation, and the financial risk of intellectual property pledge financing of high-tech enterprises has been done with the combination of the dynamic evaluation curve with the optimal time weight determined by the maximum entropy method.

Passive sensing networks can maintain the operation of the network by capturing energy from the environment, thereby solving the energy limitation problem of network nodes. Therefore, passive sensing networks are widely used in data collection in complex environments. However, the complexity of the network deployment environment makes passive sensing nodes unable to obtain stable energy from the surroundings. Therefore, better routing strategies are needed to save network energy consumption. In response to this problem, this paper proposes an IPv6 passive-aware network routing algorithm for the Internet of Things. This method is based on the characteristics of passive sensing networks. By analyzing the successful transmission rate of the network node transmission link, transmission energy consumption, end-to-end transmission delay, and waiting delay of IPv6 packets, the utility evaluation function of the route is obtained. After the utility evaluation function is obtained, the network routing is selected through the utility evaluation function. Then, the utility value and the deep neural network method are combined to train the classification model. The classification model assigns the best routing strategy according to the characteristics of the current network, thereby improving the energy consumption and delay performance of the network.

Blockchain technology, the fundamental technology of Bitcoin, is featured with high transparency, decentralization, traceability, tamperproof nature, and anonymousness. In this thesis, a case study of the traceability of agricultural products is to explain a traceability solution of agricultural products supply chain based on blockchain and IPFS. The latter one is used to store large quantities of transactions data; and the former one is used for the safety of data storage and circulation. And consumers can know the quality of agricultural products in the shortest time through the evaluation function. As shown in the experiment, the solution is more efficient and secure compared with existing supply chain traceability methods, meeting the traceability requirements of security, transparency, and reliability. Furthermore, the traceability, safety, and performance of the scheme are also analyzed here.

<pre>The focus of this paper is to propose a bi-objective mathematical model for a new extension of a multi-period p-mobile hub location problem and then to devise an algorithm for solving it. The developed model considers the impact of the time spent traveling at the hubs' network, the time spent at hubs for processing the flows, and the delay caused by congestion at hubs with specific capacities. Following the unveiled model, a hybrid meta-heuristic algorithm will be devised that simultaneously takes advantage of a novel evaluation function, a clustering technique, and a genetic approach for solving the proposed model.</pre>

AbstractChemical diversity is one of the key term when dealing with machine learning and molecular generation. This is particularly true for quantum chemical datasets. The composition of which should be done meticulously since the calculation is highly time demanding. Previously we have seen that the most known quantum chemical dataset QM9 lacks chemical diversity. As a consequence, ML models trained on QM9 showed generalizability shortcomings. In this paper we would like to present (i) a fast and generic method to evaluate chemical diversity, (ii) a new quantum chemical dataset of 435k molecules, OD9, that includes QM9 and new molecules generated with a diversity objective, (iii) an analysis of the diversity impact on unconstrained and goal-directed molecular generation on the example of QED optimization. Our innovative approach makes it possible to individually estimate the impact of a solution to the diversity of a set, allowing for effective incremental evaluation. In the first application, we will see how the diversity constraint allows us to generate more than a million of molecules that would efficiently complete the reference datasets. The compounds were calculated with DFT thanks to a collaborative effort through the QuChemPedIA@home BOINC project. With regard to goal-directed molecular generation, getting a high QED score is not complicated, but adding a little diversity can cut the number of calls to the evaluation function by a factor of ten
