Obesity is a condition that can increase the risk of some diseases such as reduced brain capacity, dyspnea, skin irritation, hypertension, and diabetes. Proper treatment is needed to overcome the problems of obesity. The objective of this study was to investigate the effectiveness of Yoga, fast of Dawood, Green Tea, and Apple juice to suppressor PPAR-γ gene activity, C / EBPα, and SREBP-c to manage obesity in adolescents. The method used in this study was a literature review from journal publications through the database ScienceDirect, PUBMED, and google scholar, and the criteria were Indonesian and English with a range of publication years 2014-2019. Nine main articles were used as references in this study. These articles proved that yoga therapy could maintain the balance and health of the physical, emotional, and spiritual dimensions, and Fast of Dawood can limit the amount of calorie intake at a particular time. Moreover, by consuming green tea as a source of polyphenol derivatives and apples with high of flavanol, anthocyanidin, dihydrochalcones, and hydroxycinnamic acid could decrease adolescents' body weight. Yoga and Fast of Dawood exercise can reduce adipogenesis and induce reverse cholesterol transport, cellular cholesterol released, reduced pro-inflammatory cytokines dan decreased the incidence of obesity.

AbstractThird trimester pregnant women tend to experience anxiety in facing labour. One method to reduce this anxiety is by doing prenatal gentle yoga. This study aimed to examine the implementation of prenatal gentle yoga to reduce the anxiety of pregnant women in facing labour. The design of this study was literature review by analyzing three articles published in Google Scholar with the keywords “pregnant women”, “anxiety”, and “prenatal gentle yoga”, in the form of fulltext articles, and published during 2016-2020. The respondents of the three articles were 92 pregnant women. The results showed that before the intervention, 39.67% respondents felt moderate anxiety at 40,21% and severe anxiety at 39,13%. Meanwhile, after the intervention, only 9.78% respondents felt the anxiety. In conclusion, prenatal gentle yoga could reduce anxiety experienced by third trimester pregnant women. Therefore health care provider are supposed to be able to lead and train pregnant women doing prenatal gentle yoga.Keywords: Pregnant Women; anxiety; prenatal gentle yoga therapy; third trimester AbstrakIbu hamil trimester III cenderung mengalami kecemasan dalam menghadapi persalinan. Salah satu upaya untuk menurunkan kecemasan dalam menghadapi persalinan yaitu dengan prenatal gentle yoga. Artikel ini bertujuan untuk menelaah penerapan prenatal gentle yoga untuk menurunkan kecemasan ibu hamil dalam menghadapi persalinan berdasarkan literature review. Desain Artikel ini berupa literature review dengan mencari 3 artikel yang dipublikasikan di jurnal penelitian ilmiah di laman google cendekia dengan kata kunci “ibu hamil”, “kecemasan”, “prenatal gentle yoga” berupa article fulltext, terbit tahun 2016-2020. Karakteristik responden dari ketiga artikel menunjukkan jumlah responden sebanyak 92. Nilai rata-rata kecemasan sebelum dilakukan intervensi sebagian besar responden mengalami cemas sedang sebesar 40,21 dan cemas berat sebanyak 39,13% dan setelah dilakukan intervensi cemas turun menjadi 9,78%. Kesimpulannya adalah prenatal gentle yoga dapat menurunkan kecemasan pada ibu hamil trimester III. Saran bagi pelayanan kesehatan untuk melaksanakan pelatihan prenatal gentle yoga agar tenaga keperawatan menjadi terlatih untuk menerapkannya pada ibu hamil.Kata Kunci: Ibu hamil; kecemasan; terapi prenatal gentle yoga; trimester III

Episcleritis, an acute unilateral or bilateral inflammation, usually idiopathic or autoimmune condition with or without underlying systemic condition is a troublesome manifestation of red eye reported. It manifests as red or pinkeye, varied mild pain to foreign body sensation, tender discomfort on touch, commonly recurs. As an acute condition patient seeks medical assistance. Ayurveda recognised this either as Sirajala, Siraharsha, Sirajapidika and a Shuklabhagaroga. Here a young lady with painful repeated manifestation of episcleritis is reported seeking Ayurveda for holistic management of the condition after repeatedly trying other systems in vain. Patient was treated with suitable Shodhana, Kriyakalpa followed by necessary Dinacharya and Rasayana ensuring non recurrence; Deepan pachana, Anulomana, Kriyakalpa, Rasyana chosen were all Chakshushyadravyas. To add up to synchronize the effect of yoga therapies advised, to achieve non recurrence of symptoms. Trikatu, Trivrt, Triphala, Yashtimadhu, Madhu, Ghrta known Chakshushyadravya having vitamins and trace elements known to be highly beneficial to the eye and all sense organs was advocated, Kriyakalpa play a major role in immediate mitigation of symptoms and also prevents recurrence. Seka is most accepted Kriyakapla for enhancing quick relief, non recurrence, cost effective Ayurveda management reported after a prolonged period of follow up for a year. Yoga therapy included Suryanamaskar, Anulomaviloma pranayama and Trataka, Ayurveda and yoga when added to management ensured non recurrence.
