Abstract The pandemic’s numerous effects on everyday life include reductions in driving and changes in the use of other transportation modes, like getting rides from family and friends, walking, and biking. Aside from broad patterns, however, little is known about these changes, including how they affected different groups of the population and how they felt about them. Our study addresses these issues using data collected from an online survey of over 4,000 Floridians aged 50 or older, conducted between December 2020 and April 2021 and funded by the Florida Department of Transportation to support its aging road user program, Safe Mobility for Life. Changes in driving and in rides from family and friends were more striking than those in other transportation modes. Nearly 30 percent of respondents decreased their driving during the pandemic, while 20 percent got fewer rides from family and 25 percent got fewer rides from friends. In contrast, only 11 percent decreased their walking, and the same percentage increased it. Less common were changes in biking, with percent 7 decreasing and only 4 percent increasing it. Multivariate analyses revealed that these changes were influenced by gender, race, age, socioeconomic status, and health. Further insight was gained from analysis of an open-ended item, revealing positive and negative assessments of the changes. Positive assessments centered on feeling satisfied with working at home, spending more time outdoors, having more free time, and saving money. Negative assessments centered on social isolation, dissatisfaction with government responses to the pandemic, and reduced transportation options.

With so many tasks that must be completed cultivated fields by teachers Guidance and Counseling which consists of four fields, eleven types of services, and six support units. The teacher then Guidance and Counseling feel overwhelmed and unable to complete the task becomes all areas mandate, particularly in data collection and usage instrumentation applications. Unfinished inability to complete all the administrative tasks of the Guidance and Counseling  teacher, now coupled with new task field known as Direction Specialisation, which according to teachers Guidance and Counseling " jobs that seem more time-consuming, and difficult to resolve in a short time ". So that guidance and counseling teacher performance was not optimal. In this research method is discussed about the development, stages, testing, and analysis products. To obtain the necessary data , the researchers chose 20 people teachers Guidance and Counseling are incorporated in MGBK (Musyawarah Guru Bimbingan dan Konseling ; Deliberation Teacher Guidance and counseling) Pamekasan as test subjects with treatment instrumentation applications utilizing the data direction of specialization. With this treatment were then given a questionnaire to determine the performance associated with speed and ease before and after using the instrumentation application of data toward specialization From the results of this development was obtained performance without using a program based on the pace of work = 38 : 80 = 0.475 or 47.5 % of the expected criteria. From the aspects of ease in working = 38 : 80 = 0.475 or 47.5 % of the expected criteria. While using the application program instrumentation toward specialization junior learners views on aspects of the system working speed = 66 : 80 = 0.825 or 82.5 % of that expected. Ease in working = 65 : 80 = 0.8125 or 81.25 % of the expected. For the lowest working system is the convenience aspect, which reached 81.25 % of the expected.  From the calculation we can conclude the difference between a working system without and with using the program. So that the application program instrumentation specialization direction data can be harnessed and used by teachers Guidance and Counseling in Pamekasan to improve performance in the implementation of the service. Suggestions can be submitted to the user program the data instrumentation applications, especially towards specialization learners in making its recommendation sheet, to be able to properly and optimally utilize it possible to increase the performance of services to students of teaching.

The neutron imaging instrument CONRAD was operated as a part of the user program of the research reactor BER-II at Helmholtz-Zentrum Berlin (HZB) from 2005 to 2020. The instrument was designed to use the neutron flux from the cold source of the reactor, transported by a curved neutron guide. The pure cold neutron spectrum provided a great advantage in the use of different neutron optical components such as focusing lenses and guides, solid-state polarizers, monochromators and phase gratings. The flexible setup of the instrument allowed for implementation of new methods including wavelength-selective, dark-field, phase-contrast and imaging with polarized neutrons. In summary, these developments helped to attract a large number of scientists and industrial customers, who were introduced to neutron imaging and subsequently contributed to the expansion of the neutron imaging community.

AbstractHigher-order functions have become a staple of modern programming languages. However, such values stymie concolic testers, as the SMT solvers at their hearts are inherently first-order.This paper lays a formal foundations for concolic testing higher-order functional programs. Three ideas enable our results: (i) our tester considers only program inputs in a canonical form; (ii) it collects novel constraints from the evaluation of the canonical inputs to search the space of inputs with partial help from an SMT solver and (iii) it collects constraints from canonical inputs even when they are arguments to concretized calls. We prove that (i) concolic evaluation is sound with respect to concrete evaluation; (ii) modulo concretization and SMT solver incompleteness, the search for a counter-example succeeds if a user program has a bug and (iii) this search amounts to directed evolution of inputs targeting hard-to-reach corners of the program.

SyLMAND, the Synchrotron Laboratory for Micro and Nano Devices, is a recently commissioned microfabrication bend magnet beamline with ancillary cleanroom facilities at the Canadian Light Source. The synchrotron radiation is applied to pattern high-aspect-ratio polymer microstructures used in the area of micro-electro-mechanical systems (MEMS). SyLMAND particularly focuses on spectral and beam power adjustability and large exposable area formats in an inert gas atmosphere; a rotating-disk intensity chopper allows for independent beam-power reduction, while continuous spectral tuning between 1–2 keV and >15 keV photon energies is achieved using a double-mirror system and low-atomic-number filters. Homogeneous exposure of samples up to six inches in diameter is performed in the experimental endstation, a vertically scanning precision stage (scanner) with tilt and rotation capabilities under 100 mbar helium. Commissioning was completed in late 2017, and SyLMAND is currently ramping up its user program, mostly in the areas of RF MEMS, micro-fluidics/life sciences and micro-optics.
