Interoperability plays an important role in Industry 4.0. Interoperability in the engineering process allows the automation of the engineering phase, reducing the human effort involved and the associated engineering costs. It improves the quality of the engineering process and its overall efficiency. Nevertheless, the diversity of available standards, devices, and systems leads to great levels of heterogeneity and makes it difficult to achieve the aforementioned interoperability. As the lack of interoperability increases, a generic solution to the problem is increasingly demanded by the industry. This paper approaches the interoperability problem from a service interface perspective. A novel approach is presented to address service interface heterogeneity. The proposed solution is based on service interface translation, which is achieved via the generation of service interfaces. A new system, the consumer interface generator system, has been designed and implemented to generate interface instances to solve the interoperability mismatches between service consumers and providers at runtime. In this paper, the autonomous consumer interface generation process, the system architecture, and the generated interface instance are described. The proposed approach has been validated through practical experimentation, including the implementation of a system prototype and a testbed.

Abstract In this paper, the combined effects of cycling endurance and radiation on floating gate memory cell are investigated in detail, the results indicate that: 1.The programmed flash cells with a prior appropriate number of program and erase cycling stress exhibit much smaller threshold voltage shift than their counterpart in response to radiation, which is mainly ascribed to the recombination of trapped electrons (introduced by cycling stress) and trapped holes (introduced by irradiation) in the oxide surrounding the floating gate; 2.The radiation induced transconductance degradation in prior cycled flash cell is more severe than those without cycling stress in both of the programmed state and erased state; 3. Radiation is more likely to induce interface generation in programmed state than in erased state. This paper will be useful in understanding the issues involved in cycling endurance and radiation effects as well as in designing radiation hardened floating gate memory cells.

Abstract The study of android based maize assessment was done by involving two popular machine learning software i.e. teachable machine and android studio. The classification model was performed in online teachable machine learning while interface generation was performed in android studio. Various maize tassel from male, female and contamination plants were collected and used for training and model validation. The results indicated that Android-based tassel classification was successfully applied to the study area with accuracy of 80.7%. In addition, the error of classification was 19.3%, a relatively lower values for large testing datasets. Several mis-classification were found particularly at similar tassel shape. The integration of the model with smartphone technology enables rapid recognition of off-type plant at real-time, even though operated by personnel with limited skills or no knowledge seed technology on maize parental lines ideotype.

Compi is an application framework to develop end-user, pipeline-based applications with a primary emphasis on: (i) user interface generation, by automatically generating a command-line interface based on the pipeline specific parameter definitions; (ii) application packaging, with compi-dk, which is a version-control-friendly tool to package the pipeline application and its dependencies into a Docker image; and (iii) application distribution provided through a public repository of Compi pipelines, named Compi Hub, which allows users to discover, browse and reuse them easily. By addressing these three aspects, Compi goes beyond traditional workflow engines, having been specially designed for researchers who want to take advantage of common workflow engine features (such as automatic job scheduling or logging, among others) while keeping the simplicity and readability of shell scripts without the need to learn a new programming language. Here we discuss the design of various pipelines developed with Compi to describe its main functionalities, as well as to highlight the similarities and differences with similar tools that are available. An open-source distribution under the Apache 2.0 License is available from GitHub (available at https://github.com/sing-group/compi). Documentation and installers are available from https://www.sing-group.org/compi. A specific repository for Compi pipelines is available from Compi Hub (available at https://www.sing-group.org/compihub.

Abstract The new Industry 4.0 approach contributes to addressing evolving industrial requirements, which are continuously fueled by changing market demands. This situation leads to growing complexity and considerable increases in development and maintenance costs. A significant portion of engineering time is dedicated to the integration and interconnection of heterogeneous components. The solution for interoperability issues and the reduction in the associated engineering time are thus key tasks for increasing productivity and efficiency. Therefore, this paper provides an engineering approach to create interoperability among heterogeneous systems in Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) based environments by means of generating an autonomous consumer interface code at runtime. This paper aims to present a novel interoperability solution. The proposed approach makes use of service interface descriptions to dynamically instantiate a new autonomously generated interface that solves service mismatches between a provider and a consumer. This paper includes the definition of the consumer interface generator system, as well as the benefits and challenges associated with the autonomous generation and deployment of a consumer interface code at runtime. To illustrate the potential of this approach, a prototype of the system, which shows positive results, is implemented and tested.

The paper presents result of the development of the open digital platform (DigitalPsyTools.ru), which provides support for conducting the large-scale psychological research. Development of the dedicated information and data analysis instrument has a goal to consolidate the efforts of the professional interdisciplinary specialists in the area of psychological research on a single platform. Digital psychological platform is built as an evolving information environment with the toolset for conducting psychological studies of all levels. The paper describes the key functional capabilities, tasks solved and requirements implied for the software implementation and target environment conditions. The scalability, variability of the target execution environments of the software components and local specifics provide the foundation for crystallization of the platform development principles. Internal standard of the psychological test representation in a semi-structured form, corresponding domain-specific programming language and its interpreter software were developed. These components provide means for automatic questionnaire web-interface generation for the study participants. The results of the web-interface testing using varying devices are presented.
