The author considers the problem of conjunctive use of disjunctive conjunctions in the perspective of functional grammar. In the first part of the article, the author verifies the logical approach to conjunctions, especially disjunctive conjunctions. The linguistic meaning of a conjunction is defined as information on the credibility or applicability of a (semantically) compound sentence under condition [10, 01], which means an alternative participation of referents in the described situation. In the following chapters, the author analyzes several language facts, namely sentences that contain a disjunctive relationship and which nevertheless express the general meaning of conjunction. The author explains these phenomena by the fact that in such sentences there are the types of configurations of conjunction with the exponents of other semantic categories: quantification and modality.

This textbook represents an up-to-date, comprehensive compilation of the field of Forensic Odontology. The chapters have been uniquely structured to take the reader through all aspects of this discipline in a methodical and logical approach. Authors for each section were carefully selected as being internationally recognised experts and renowned amongst their peers in their particular field of Forensic Odontology. The material in this textbook is presented in a manner that is both interesting and clear for novices in the discipline, while at the same time offering highly informative, cutting-edge information for experts practising Forensic Odontology. The book begins with a chronology of the origin of Forensic Odontology dating back to 1477, using intriguing real-life cases to set the theme for the rest of the book.

This study provides a comprehensive picture of the public's perception of the high cost of financing Islamic banks in Indonesia. The perception of "expensive" arises from various perspectives based on the limited knowledge of each customer. In this study, the authors present explanations sourced from Islamic banks and several observers of Islamic banks in Indonesia. Primary data was obtained by conducting in-depth interviews with several Islamic bank practitioners, observations, and documentation studies. The data analysis technique uses the theory of Miles and Huberman, starting from data classification, data reduction, and drawing conclusions. The results of the study found several arguments which then formed the public perception that financing in Islamic banks was considered expensive. The word "expensive" here of course must be understood by defining the correct, authentic meaning, not with a misleading logical approach.

In the previous article, we analyzed the scope and features of the formation of fair value, which is entered into the Russian accounting of inventories and property, plant and equipment of non-budgetary sphere organizations (including healthcare organizations) thanks to the Federal Accounting Standards (FAS) 5/2019 “Inventories”, 6/2020 “Property, Plant and Equipment”, and 26/2020 “Capital Investments”. This article examines the valuation techniques and hierarchy of fair value of these assets. This study is all the more relevant since the fair value is entered into the Russian accounting of inventories and property, plant and equipment of non-budgetary organizations for the first time and it is still quite unusual for many domestic accountants. Analysis, synthesis, grouping method, comparison, analogy method, logical approach, and systemic approach were used as research methods. As a result of the research carried out, the article analyzes the fundamental issues in the field of valuation techniques and hierarchy of fair value of inventories and property, plant and equipment of non-budgetary sphere organizations (including healthcare organizations), identifies the most important problems in this area and presents recommendations for their solution.

The surface chemistry of carbon materials is predominantly explored using x-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS). However, many published papers have critical failures in the published analysis, stemming from an ill-informed approach to analyzing the spectroscopic data. Herein, a discussion on lineshapes and changes in the spectral envelope of predominantly graphitic materials are explored, together with the use of the D-parameter, to ascertain graphitic content, using this information to highlight a simple and logical approach to strengthen confidence in the functionalization derived from the carbon core-level spectra.

We discuss the mathematical structures that underlie quantum probabilities. More specifically, we explore possible connections between logic, geometry and probability theory. We propose an interpretation that generalizes the method developed by R. T. Cox to the quantum logical approach to physical theories. We stress the relevance of developing a geometrical interpretation of quantum mechanics.Quanta 2021; 10: 1–14.

Textiles are one of the largest growing waste streams in the world and are expected to continue to grow due to more frequent consumption and greater demand from fast fashion, along with this come high consumption of chemicals, energy, and water, which generate significant environmental impacts globally. Textiles in landfill biodegrade to form methane gas which is released into the air and is not suitable for human consumption, is one of the most effects factor that recycling is addressing by diverting textile from landfill. A logical approach to diverting existing textile waste streams is the adoption of textile recycling technologies and systems.
