Pariksha is the tool used to explore knowledge regarding the span of life, potency and strength of the disease. Pariksha is also used as Pramana in Ayurveda. The concept of Dashvidha Pariskha is described in Ayurveda which is very much scientific in terms of understanding the duration of life, strength of person and disease. Treatment principles may vary from patient to patient depending on strength of the patient and morbidity of the disease. Many scattered references are found in Ayurvedic literature which lay stress on research namely “Pareeksha karino hi Kushal Bhavanti" and many synonyms of research are available viz. Eshana and Anveshana. Hence patient is to be examined in respect of Prakruti, Vikriti, Sara, Samhanana, Pramana, Satmya, Satva, Aahara shakti, Vyayama shakti and Vaya is Dashvidha Pariskha. Tenfold examinations should be done to understand the overview of patient condition in relation to disease Pariksha must be carried out scientifically in a systemic and planned way to get a successful result. It is very much essential that before any treatment one should have complete knowledge of Roga and Rogi Bala. Keywords: Roga Bala, Rogi Bala, Dashavidha Pariksha, Vyadhi, Swasta.

Arshas is one among many diseases which are most unkind towards mankind. The incidence of Arshas increases with advancing age and at least 50% of people over the age of 50 years have some degree of hemorrhoidal symp- toms. Hemorrhoids are the dilated veins in the anal canal in the subepithelial region formed by radicals of the su- perior, middle, and inferior rectal vein[1]. In this modern era the improper diet habits, junk food intake, inhibition of natural urges and mental strain makes one susceptible to this disease. Acharya Sushrutha while detailing the treatment principles of Arshas has categorized it as Bheshajasadhya, Kshara Karma Sadhya, Agnikarmasadhya and shastra karma sadhya[2]. Surgical treatments though commonly being practised are very painful and hence will put the patients into more agony. Despite putting the patient into such a state there are high chances of recur- rence of the condition. Hence there is a need for very effective as well as less/non-agonizing treatment for Arshas. Vansurana Ghrta is an unexplored formulation that is mentioned in ChikitsaManjari[3]. The main ingredient Vanasurana is considered as Agryoushada for Arshas in Kaiyyadevanighandu. Keywords: Arshas, Vanasurana ghrta

Musicians comprise a specific occupational group with high musculoskeletal loads as well as demands. A frozen shoulder, or adhesive capsulitis, is a common musculoskeletal condition characterized by pain and loss of function of the glenohumeral joint. Despite being described as a generally self-limiting condition, the clinical course of the disease is unclear. A frozen shoulder can be a career-threatening diagnosis for musicians who need a wide range of motion of the shoulder to play their instruments. The aim of this narrative review is to provide healthcare providers and musicians with an overview of treatment principles for instrumental musicians with frozen shoulder. In this review, both general treatment principles as well as instrument-specific ergonomic tools are discussed. The aim is to provide an overview of the available tools to preserve a musician's playing capabilities and to enable early return to playing the instrument.

A sudden increase in the number of viral pneumonias with the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic revealed defects in the provision of medical care for acute pneumonia in the lungs. Localization of the inflammatory process and its functional consequences indicate the identity of all forms of acute pneumonia, regardless of the etiology, and the need to develop treatment principles based on the pathogenesis of the disease.
