Panrita Lopi Beach is one of the natural tourist destinations that needs to be surveyed by visitors in order to identify and determine strategies for developing tourist attractions and also marketing in Kutai Kartanegara Regency. This study aims to analyze the characteristics of tourists and travel patterns of tourists who visit and to determine the perception of the level of tourist satisfaction with infrastructure products, public facilities and tourism facilities in this tourist destination. The main variables used in segmenting comprise: Geographic Segmentation, Demographic Segmentation, Psychographic Segmentation, and Behavior-based Segmentation. This research is a type of survey research with a qualitative descriptive approach. I carried out data collection from primary data sources and secondary data sources. The sample used in this study is a non-probability sampling technique by accidental sampling, namely a sampling technique based on chance, anyone who coincidentally meets a researcher can be used as a sample, if it is deemed that the person who was met is suitable as a data source. Data that has been collected from research results related to typology (characteristics, travel patterns) and visitor perceptions can be analyzed descriptively qualitatively. The analyzed data comes from surveys through questionnaires that have been given to visitors, including data on visitor profiles, visitor travel patterns, and visitor perceptions about this Panrita Lopi beach.

In the context of Muslim-friendly tourism, marketers have to pay attention to the needs of their main target, Muslim tourists. This study aimed to examine the influence of destination attributes, including both generic and Islamic attributes, on overall tourist satisfaction to get a more comprehensive view. Likewise, this study investigated the effect of overall tourist satisfaction on its consequences. The moderation effect of Islamic religiosity on the relationship between Islamic attributes and overall tourist satisfaction was also considered. An online survey was conducted, with a sample of 231 Muslims who traveled to Muslim-majority cities, and the data were analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling. The results showed that both generic and Islamic attributes positively influence overall tourist satisfaction, while its consequences affected their behavioral, attitudinal loyalty, and churn intention. Overall tourist satisfaction was not found to affect complaint intention. Likewise, the moderation effect of Islamic religiosity was insignificant.

This chapter aims to identify the destination attributes and compare them based on two assumptions that form either a symmetric or an asymmetric relationship between destination attribute performance and tourist satisfaction. For this purpose, data were collected from tourists coming to Fethiye, Turkey. Multivariate regression analysis was performed on the obtained data based on the linear assumption first. The results revealed that the attitudes of staff and the attitudes of the shopkeepers are the main determinants of tourist satisfaction. Then, penalty-reward-contrast analysis was performed based on the nonlinear assumption. According to analysis results, attitudes of the staff are performance factors; and travel agency services, attitudes of the shopkeepers, security/safety, and beach/sea are classified as excitement factors. The elements that take part in the excitement factor are the attributes that contribute to satisfaction the most.

Medical tourism is a promising industry which is growing day by day. Researching on medical tourism is getting popularity in tourism literature. The aim of this study is to analyze the factors that have effects on medical tourist satisfaction towards medical tourism and also measure the satisfaction level. Thus, non-probability sampling method, especially convenience and snowball sampling technique were used to collect data from the respondents. Statistical analysis like factor analysis, descriptive analysis, and ordinal logistic regression analysis has been used to analyze the data collected through questionnaire. The statistical outcome indicates that doctors’ and nurses’ service quality, treatment facilities, cost of medical care, environment of hospital, tourism facilities, availability of doctors and staffs were found to have an impact on the patients’ satisfaction ratings. Patient demographic characteristics such as sex of the patients, age, and income had insignificant associations with satisfaction.

Eco-tourism being one of six groups of OCOP products plays a key role in the rural economic development. However, there are limited empirical evidences on the impacts of destination attributes of OCOP tourism on tourist satisfaction. Thus, the objective of this current study is to investigate the impacts of OCOP eco-tourism destination attributes on tourist satisfaction. The study conducted face-to-face interviews with 200 eco-tourists and employed exploratory factor analysis and multiple regression. The study found that the shared social and environmental responsibilities - core characteristics of OCOP tourism have the highest effect on tourist satisfaction. The study also provides some policy implications for sustainable development of OCOP eco-tourism destinations in the Mekong Delta.

The purpose of this research is to assess the trip experience on destination loyalty through tourist satisfaction of Chinese tourists who visited Indonesia tourism. The quantitative research method was used and the primary data collected using questionnaire to 158 respondents of Chinese tourists who visited Indonesia analyzed using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM). The study indicates that 6 of the 7 hypotheses are accepted. As a result, accommodation mediated by tourist satisfaction has no significant effect on destination loyalty. The impact of trip experience on destination loyalty mediated by tourist satisfaction accounted for 64.4 percent. This study demonstrates how Chinese tourists evaluate their trip experiences of Indonesia tourism. Transportation was discovered to have the greatest impact, whereas need to be improved in order to create destination loyalty.
