Abstract The experience of the early nationwide COVID-19 pandemic in South Korea had led to an early shortage of medical resources. For efficient resource allocation, accurate prediction for the prognosis or mortality of confirmed patients is essential. Therefore, the aim of this study was to develop an accurate model for predicting COVID-19 mortality using epidemiolocal and clinical variables and for identifying high risk group of confirmed patients. Clinical and epidemiolocal variables of 4,049 patients with confirmed COVID-19 between January 20, 2020 and April 30, 2020 collected by Korean Disease Control and Prevention Agency were used. Among 4,049 total confirmed patients, 223 patients were dead while 3,826 patients were released from isolation. Patients who had the following risk factors showed significantly higher risk scores: age over 60 years, male, difficulty breathing, diabetes, cancer, dementia, change of consciousness, and hospitalized in intensive care unit. High accuracy was shown for both the development set (n = 2,467) and the validation set (n = 1,582), with AUC of 0.96 and 0.97, respectively. The prediction model developed in this study based on clinical features and epidemiological factors could be used for screening high risk group of patients and for evidence-based allocation of medical resources.

The relevance. The ХХ century universalism became the platform of the Bauhaus experiment. Author of different art forms took part in it. Today, universalism is transformed into universality. Over the course of a hundred years, the author’s thinking system has changed. The composition of the stage work was decided by using household stuff. Household object becomes worthy of the stage space and overlaps the person. The author of the ХХI century regains the right to be the main in interaction with the subject. This is the paradigm shift of the century. The purpose of the study. Analysis of the transformation of the idea of universality of movement and subject-suit from “Triadical Ballet” and O. Schlemmer’s theatre workshop to modern experimental performance projects. Art analysis of the interaction of movement and subject in the stage space of O. Schlemmer, G. Bohner and contemporary authors. The methodology: historical and comparative analysis. The result of the study was the analysis of the the author-creator’s thinking system of plastic modern work. The topicality of the study is the analysis of “Bauhaus tanzt II” (2018). Authors: M. Shurkal (Ukraine), A. Possarnig, P. Dominici (Austria). The practical significance. The experience discussed in the article proves that without the past there is no future. We analyze the change of consciousness of the author-creator, which was visualized in the change of the technique of staged activity. We make a visual change of the way the subject is used on the stage as a scenery or prop, and as an acting character. The conclusions. The mechanism of possible interaction of the object, costume, dance in the space of creative experiment gave universality to the Bauhaus triad. We see the value of the transformation of the “Triadic Ballet” of the ХХ century in changing the author’s thinking system. At the beginning of the ХХ century, the author’s focus is on the suit object, which should be moved. Аt the beginning of the ХХI century the author’s focus is on the interaction of the human performer and the object-suit by exploring the possibility of variety and amplitude of the movement.

The artery of Percheron is a rare anatomical variation that supplies thalamus and the midbrain. A stroke in this area is a rare event. The presentation varies widely, with some bizarre disturbances, like transient episodic loss of consciousness similar to coma, somnolence, cognition and memory impairment and psychosis. We report a case of a patient who presented at the emergency department with a sudden change of consciousness. During the observation, she oscillated reactive state of consciousness with obnubilation similar to coma. The first exams were normal, which include a cranial CT of the brain, and so the patient was kept under observation. The final diagnosis was only possible 24 hours later with cranial CT where an ischaemic lesion on the Percheron territory was identified. This case highlights an unusual clinic and a difficult neuroimaging stroke diagnosis of a rare condition, that is unknown to most of the physicians.

The current situation and development of society increasingly tells us about certain trends of political harassment of public and political figures, as part of the process of repression, including in the field of education, compared to the tragic pages of our past. And so this topic is quite relevant in modern scientific discourse. The research methodology is based on the principles of objectivity, systematics, historicism, dialectics and interdisciplinarity. Namely, the study is based on historical and historical-pedagogical methods. The study provides examples of political harassment of representatives of the Soviet education system in the 1920s and 1930s, including through the media, both socio-political and professional educational significance. These data clearly reveal the attempts of the Soviet government to use the consciousness of citizens in the struggle against the «enemies of the people» and the supremacy of the Bolsheviks over the rights of every person to maintain their power. In addition to the disclosure of the topic is the involvement of documentary sources that demonstrate the political harassment of educators in speeches at various meetings and rallies. These examples of political harassment of educators provide an opportunity to study more deeply the mechanisms of political repression of the Ukrainian intelligentsia as a whole and see what methods of psychological pressure, manipulation and change of consciousness, especially youth and children, are inherent in Soviet power. But to analyze their future manifestations in the future and to develop a methodology for combating these negative phenomena in a democratic society, which requires further efforts of scientists.

10–20% of COVID (Corona Virus Disease)-19 cases proceed to a severe stage, and age and the presence of comorbidity increased the risk of death from COVID-19. The identification of risk factors on progression to the severity stages is essential in providing more efficient and suitable management to COVID-19 patients. However, there is insufficient study on risk factors for severity stages of COVID-19 patients. In this study, 2959 confirmed COVID-19 patients were analyzed while using national data, COVID-19 patients Clinical Epidemiological Information provided from the Korea Disease Control and Prevention Agency. The epidemiological variable, hospital room, periods from confirmation to release, initial symptom and vital signs, underlying comorbidities, and initial blood variables were used to verify the relation with progression to severity stages of COVID-19 and severe COVID-19. The chi-square test, welch test, multiple regression and logistic regression analysis were performed. The ICU (Intensive Care Unit) admission rate of patients having characteristics, such as older age, male, abnormal BMI (Body Mass Index), high heart rate, high body temperature, fever, cough, sputum, sore throat, rhinorrhea, fatigue, dyspnea, change of consciousness, diabetes mellitus, hypertension, chronic artery disease, chronic kidney disease, cancer, dementia, abnormal hemoglobin, abnormal hematocrit, abnormal lymphocyte, abnormal platelets, and abnormal white blood cell were high. The risk factors for severe COVID-19 were older age, shorter hospitalization, abnormal lymphocyte, abnormal platelets, dyspnea, change of consciousness, and dementia. Whereas, significant predictors for progression to severity stages of COVID-19 were older age, longer period from confirmation to release, higher BMI, higher body temperature, abnormal lymphocyte, abnormal platelets, fever, no sore throat, dyspnea, no headache, COPD (Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease), and dementia. Therefore, classifying patients with a high risk of severe stage of COVID-19 and managing patients by considering the risk factors could be helpful in the efficient management of COVID-19 patients.

Thіs article is an attempt to highlight the factors of formation in art of the method and style of total socialrealism as a method of substitution. The basic factors are the contradictions of the consciousness of the Russian ethnos, which are due to the inability of semantic essential distinction of the main oppositional categories of existence. The historical organicity of the Russian mentality in the socialist and communist forms of existence has revealed, as well as the historical organicity of the method of substitutions in the construction of antagonistic models of worldview. This method of substitution will become basic in the style of socialist realism. Certain figurative and semantic inversions of archetypal structures of human consciousness and the environment of the period of Soviet totalitarianism are revealed and characterized: eschatological dimension of Eternity / time category of bright future; the truth / the untruth; sacred (theological) / profane; relative / absolute; spiritual / material; the hero / the anti-hero; destruction of the past / future; existence in spirit / existence in political ideology. These substitutions led to the development of certain unified iconographic schemes in art and, in particular, in architecture: residential complexes (communities), giant pedestal buildings (sculpture building), a step-increasing volume of public buildings like to the temple. Forcible change of the picture of the world generates hyper-reality, where is desired seems real. The violent change of consciousness of nations in the Soviet Union, built on the principles of antagonistic dual models of worldview with their moral and semantic indistinguishability, could not give rise to projects of utopias as projects of evolution. The inversion of archetypal structures in socialist utopia is essentially anti-utopian.

Malay dialect has a specific final sound /ɑ/ as /ə/ but not all final sound /ɑ/ is pronounced as /ə/. The final sound /r/ is dropped down and the sound /u/ after the letter <r> is pronounced as /ɒ/ in some particular words. This phonemic system must be preserved and developed as a local knowledge. Modality change of consciousness happens to the Malay, and Indonesian becomes elitist and leaves the egalitarian Malay. This descriptive qualitative research concerned to the phonemic features and comprehensive picture of Malay contemporary sounds, and Malay vowels and consonants with the pertinent articulatory elements in Batam. Observation method with participatory technique involved in data collection taken from Kampong Tua Nongsa, Sanggau, Tanjung Uma, and Tanjung Riau. The theory to support the analysis was taken from Finegan and Low’s theories in term of phonological and phonetic approach and supported by Kelly, McMahon, Roach, and Yule’s theories. It is found that the letter <a> is pronounced as /ə/ in particular place. And <u> is pronounced as /ɒ/ in particular place. /Ɍ/ in Malay is different from /r/ in Indonesian and /ʁ/ in English as /Ɍ/ is produced by uvula. The final consonant-closed sound <k> and <l> are not sounded as they are represented by /Ɂ/. Letter <h> is not pronounced as /h/ in the final <h> consonant-closed syllable sound. /f/, /χ/, /ʃ/and /z/, all these fricative sounds do not appear in Malay. The Malay pronounced them as /p/ for /f/ in maaf, /k/ for /χ/ in ikhlas, /s/ for /ʃ/ in syukur, and /ʝ/ for /z/ in izin. Syllable sound ends with letter <b> or <d> is not pronounced with end /b/ or /d/ but it pronounces with end /p/ or /t/ such sebab as /sebʌp/, sabtu as /sʌptʊ/, wujud as /wʊʝʊt/, and sujud as /sʊʝʊt/.

Abstract This article focuses on an overlooked connection between the “cultural fever” in China in the 1980s and a comparable cultural fever that emerged in Africa and the Caribbean in the mid-1950s through the writing of Frantz Fanon, Aimé Césaire, Jacques Stéphen Alexis, and others. It argues that, in the mid-1950s, these writers politicized their discourse on culture partly under the influence of Mao's “Talks at the Yan'an Forum on Literature and Art.” In particular, they translated the tension between the state and the local, which is intrinsic to Mao's “Talks,” into the dialectical opposition between nationalism and pan-Africanism. In post-Mao China, Chinese writers released the local from the grip of the state and aligned localism with a nascent cosmopolitanism, which inclined them to identify with Third World cosmopolitan writers. In the process of translating post-Mao Chinese literature into the mechanism of the world literary system, writers and translators transformed localism into an assimilable cult of culture. By looking at the shift of value in Chinese literature in the 1980s in relation to a change of consciousness in Euro-American literary culture in the same period, this article further argues that the context of Third Worldism is largely eliminated in the reception of global South literature in the world literary setting. It contends that recognizing the formation of Third World cosmopolitan novelists in the milieu of an international socialist literary culture oriented to the Third World necessitates the construction of a global history of the novel that will redress the myopia in novel studies, postcolonialism, and contemporary theories of world literature.
