Corona virus disease (COVID-19) has an impact on health and health services, one of which is maternal anxiety in bringing babies for immunization, immunization is a specific passive effort (inserting bacterial or viral antigens of diseases that have been weakened or killed into the body to form antibodies (immune substances) against a disease. Due to immunization there is a decrease in immunization coverage. This study uses an analytical descriptive research design to analyze Knowledge About Prevention of the Spread of Covid-19 With Anxiety of Mothers Carrying Immunized Babies at the Pratama Nining Pelawati Clinic. The population in this study was all 35 mothers who have babies visited the nining clinic. The sample was taken using total sampling. The results showed that the majority of respondents had less knowledge about preventing the spread of Covid-19 when carrying immunized babies, namely 20 respondents (57 ,1%), 19 respondents (54.3%) respondents had severe anxiety when carrying immunized babies. statistical test, it can be seen that there is a relationship between knowledge about the prevention of the spread of Covid-19 and the anxiety of mothers carrying baby immunizations at the Nining Pelawati Pratama Clinic with p = 0.005 (p <0.05). It is hoped that midwives will cooperate with the COVID-19 task force in spreading correct information about the spread of COVID-19.

Misinformation on social media is a key challenge to effective and timely public health responses. Existing mitigation measures include flagging misinformation or providing links to correct information but have not yet targeted social processes. Here, we examine whether providing balanced social reference cues in addition to flagging misinformation leads to reductions in sharing behavior. In 3 field experiments (N=817, N=322, and N=278) on Twitter, we show that highlighting which content others within the personal network share and, more importantly, not share combined with misinformation flags significantly and meaningfully reduces the amount of misinformation shared (Study 1-3). We show that this reduction is driven by change in injunctive social norms (Study 2) but not social identity (Study 3). Social reference cues, combined with misinformation flags, are feasible and scalable means to effectively curb sharing misinformation on social media.

Face masks are effective at limiting contagion of the coronavirus. However, adherence to face mask use among the older adult population is often unsatisfactory due to cognitive impairment, misconceptions, and difficulty in retrieving face masks. This brief note provides healthcare professionals with simple suggestions about how to improve face mask adoption in the older adults, in particular if they suffer from mild cognitive impairment. Thus, clinical reflections and psychoeducational suggestions are summarized into a simple mental roadmap. Specifically, the CO-MAsk approach underlines the necessity to consider the following factors: Cognition (possible cognitive impairment), Occasions (real chances to access correct information and proper protection equipment), Motivation (individual motivation towards sanitary prescriptions) and Assumptions (personal beliefs and understandings). Possible obstacles and practical suggestions for are also discussed. It is of paramount importance that healthcare professionals pay attention to emotional, cognitive and psychological aspects to effectively improve the face masks adherence among older adults, specifically when cognitive decline is present.

Using a sensor in variable lighting conditions, especially very low-light conditions, requires the application of image enhancement followed by denoising to retrieve correct information. The limits of such a process are explored in the present paper, with the objective of preserving the quality of enhanced images. The LIP (Logarithmic Image Processing) framework was initially created to process images acquired in transmission. The compatibility of this framework with the human visual system makes possible its application to images acquired in reflection. Previous works have established the ability of the LIP laws to perform a precise simulation of exposure time variation. Such a simulation permits the enhancement of low-light images, but a denoising step is required, realized by using a CNN (Convolutional Neural Network). A main contribution of the paper consists of using rigorous tools (metrics) to estimate the enhancement reliability in terms of noise reduction, visual image quality, and color preservation. Thanks to these tools, it has been established that the standard exposure time can be significantly reduced, which considerably enlarges the use of a given sensor. Moreover, the contribution of the LIP enhancement and denoising step are evaluated separately.

Worldwide, guidelines have been developed that indicate the adoption of measures, which can guide and assist the population in times of pandemic. In this sense, several cities have incorporated the practice of health call centers with qualified specialists to provide correct information about the disease, creating remote channels to make calls such as telephones, video calls and applications that do not require the crowding of people at health units. The objective of the work was to describe the “Orienta+COVID” call center service installed in the Xingu-PA region, Brazil. The study was carried out in the Xingu region, Pará, Brazil. The reports of the attendants participating in the project were collected and the attendance registration report, which took place from May 25th to June 30th, 2020, was analyzed. A total of 1210 visits were made in the period analyzed through 60 attendants who took turns on duty. During tele orientation, health professionals collected patient data, their complaints and doubts to determine, through the classification of symptoms, what would be the guidelines to be passed. The call center performed by health professionals during the project was essential to answer patients' doubts as well as being able to better guide them on how to proceed in suspected or confirmed cases of the new coronavirus and thus contribute to reducing the demand for urgent and emergency services.

The current study compared children's memory for information accompanied by emotional or non-emotional talk, and also investigated the utility of emotion knowledge in prediction of recall. Seventy-five children aged 5-6 years participated in a staged event that involved visiting separate stations containing connected, causal information of an emotional or non-emotional theme. Children were assessed with a memory interview one week later. Children reported significantly more correct information from stations with an emotional focus. Children's emotion knowledge did not predict recall, however. Results show children better recall emotion-related information even when causality and connectedness is controlled for. Implications of the finding are discussed.

IntroductionInfectious disease misinformation is widespread and poses challenges to disease control. There is limited evidence on how to effectively counter health misinformation in a community setting, particularly in low-income regions, and unsettled scientific debate about whether misinformation should be directly discussed and debunked, or implicitly countered by providing scientifically correct information.MethodsThe Contagious Misinformation Trial developed and tested interventions designed to counter highly prevalent infectious disease misinformation in Sierra Leone, namely the beliefs that (1) mosquitoes cause typhoid and (2) typhoid co-occurs with malaria. The information intervention for group A (n=246) explicitly discussed misinformation and explained why it was incorrect and then provided the scientifically correct information. The intervention for group B (n=245) only focused on providing correct information, without directly discussing related misinformation. Both interventions were delivered via audio dramas on WhatsApp that incorporated local cultural understandings of typhoid. Participants were randomised 1:1:1 to the intervention groups or the control group (n=245), who received two episodes about breast feeding.ResultsAt baseline 51% believed that typhoid is caused by mosquitoes and 59% believed that typhoid and malaria always co-occur. The endline survey was completed by 91% of participants. Results from the intention-to-treat, per-protocol and as-treated analyses show that both interventions substantially reduced belief in misinformation compared with the control group. Estimates from these analyses, as well as an exploratory dose–response analysis, suggest that direct debunking may be more effective at countering misinformation. Both interventions improved people’s knowledge and self-reported behaviour around typhoid risk reduction, and yielded self-reported increases in an important preventive method, drinking treated water.ConclusionThese results from a field experiment in a community setting show that highly prevalent health misinformation can be countered, and that direct, detailed debunking may be most effective.Trial registration numberNCT04112680.
