During the COVID-19 pandemic, people are started to consume foods that are highly nutritious to increased their immunity, one of them is by consuming milk and its processed products like kefir, yogurt. Milk is one of the foods favored by the community because it is rich in health benefits. The demand for this product is also increased every year. Consumer behavior was always changing along with consumer needs that follow the conditions and developments of the times. Consumers will choose products with good quality and ful fill what their needs, as well as dairy products. This study aims to analyze consumer decisions in consuming milk and its processed products in the Bogor city area during the covid 19 pandemic. The research was carried out with the stages of determining respondents, identify factors that influence consumer behavior, collecting and analyzing data. Respondents are people who live in Bogor City with an age range of 20 to 30 years purposively as many as 108 respondents. Data processing and analysis was carried out using the Spearman rank correlation test to determine the relationship between knowledge and situational variables on the decision to consume milk and its processed products. The results showed that the level of knowledge and situational had a significant and direct relationship with consumer decisions (P<0.01). This shows that the higher level of consumer knowledge of products with supportive conditions, the consumer’s decision to consume milk and its processed products is also getting stronger.

Introduction: The COVID-19 pandemic has harmed various fields, and people's activities cannot run as usual. Prevention of the transmission of COVID-19 is very important to be applied in everyday life. Washing hands with soap or hand sanitizer is easy and inexpensive prevention to do, but there are still many people who are wrong in practicing it. This needs to be done more counseling and education to the community in order to increase public knowledge about handwashing and hand sanitizer. Method: This research is an analytic study with a research design using a one-group pretest-posttest design. Using 31 respondents from Taro villagers who attended the counseling. Data analysis using Paired Sample T-test and Kolmogorov-Smirnov Test for Normality Test. Result: The average value of knowledge before counseling is 53.8710 while the value after counseling is 82.9677. Paired Sample T-test and obtained a significance value of 0.000 so that a significant difference was found (<0.005) between the values before and after counseling. Conclusion: There is a significant difference in the level of knowledge before and after handwashing and hand sanitizer counseling.

Introduction: Taro village has a higher risk of gathering the people since it is one of the most popular tourism sectors in Bali hence increasing the potential to spread coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19). The level of knowledge plays an important role in determining whether the society is ready to implement the health protocols or not. This community service aims to evaluate the level of knowledge regarding COVID-19 health protocols in the tourism sector in the Taro village. Method: This research was conducted using a quasi-experimental one-group pretest-posttest design in Taro village, Bali. Respondents filled out the questionnaire before and after counseling. The questionnaire consisted of 10 items of knowledge. The participants were Taro’s residents who met inclusion and exclusion criteria. A total of 31 respondents were taken. The data were tested for normality with the Kolmogorov-Smirnov test and analyzed with paired T-test using the IBM SPSS statistics version 25. Significance was determined at a 5% level (P-value ≤0.05). Results: A total of 31 valid filled-questionnaires were collected. In general, Taro’s residents’ knowledge regarding COVID-19 health protocol in the tourism sector was sufficient, but some topics are still insufficient. The mean score before counseling was 79,03 ± 1,340 while the mean score after counseling was 86,13 ± 1,366. There was a significant difference (p<0,05) on level of knowledge (p=0,000) before and after counseling. Conclusion: There was a significant difference in the level of knowledge of Taro village’s residents toward COVID-19 health protocols in the tourism sector before and after counseling.

Stunting is a developmental disorder experienced by children due to poor nutrition, recurrent infections, and inadequate psychosocial stimulation. In Jember Regency, the number of stunting cases increased from 2018 to 2019. In addition, restrictions on activities during the COVID-19 pandemic, such as nutrition services at Integrated Healthcare Center, can hamper access to consumption and nutrition and child health services. Therefore, education about stunting is urgently needed to implement appropriate parenting patterns in the mids of limited activities during the COVID-19 pandemic. The Jember community service program was carried out online in the form of a webinar activity that was attended by 30 participants. This study is a quantitative analytic research using a one-group pretest-posttest design. Data that have been analyzed are presented descriptively. There is a significant effect on the pretest and posttest scores in the webinar. It means an increase in participants' understanding after online education is carried out. It is hoped that the people of Jember Regency can apply knowledge about the importance of the first 1000 days of life to prevent stunting.

Aim of this study was to assess the knowledge, attitude and practices (KAP) in eye care of diabetics by non-ophthalmic doctors of different specialization. The was a cross-sectional questionnaire based KAP survey among 108 non-ophthalmic diabetes mellitus treating faculties of various departments at our institute. The level of Knowledge was considered excellent if the overall average score was &#62; 75%, similarly questionnaire focusing on attitude was considered positive if the average score was &#62; 50% and excellent practice constituted an average score &#62; 75%. The findings will be noted in percentages with 95% confidence interval limit. Out of the 108 subjects, 75.57% {95%CI(61%-78%)} of participants had excellent knowledge, while &#62;87.6% {95%CI(73%-88%)} of participants had a positive attitude towards diabetic eye care, whereas there were glaring deficits in diabetic eye care practices accounting to only 45.5%{95%CI(32.8%-51.4%)} which was considered poor. Knowledge and attitude regarding diabetic eye care was excellent, there was glaring deficits in the practice of diabetic eye care by non-ophthalmic treating doctors. The deficit was probably due to busy schedule of some doctors, due to lack of uniform eye care protocols of diabetic patients, and lack of updated timely education of eye care practices among non-ophthalmic medical professionals. Hence based on the findings of our study we aim to train and educate our non-ophthalmic medical faculty regularly for adequate and better management of spectrum of diabetic eye disease.

ABSTRACT Background: Hand washing is an alternative, effective and inexpensive method that can be used to prevent infectious diseases. Washing hands with soap can improve children's health. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of hand hygiene intervention on the level of knowledge and skills of elementary school students. The method used to conduct this research is a critical review, namely by reviewing articles from databases such as Google Scholar, Pubmed, Direct, Medline. The search keywords used were: quantitative studies on delivery, intervention, hand hygiene, skills, children, and primary school. The selected articles are articles that meet the standard writing criteria, which were published between 2017-2021, both in English and Indonesian. Based on these evaluation criteria, 20 (twenty) studies were obtained. From the results of a literature search, several studies on the use of intervention strategies to provide hand hygiene health education found that although there were other intervention strategies to improve hand hygiene, there were significant differences in both knowledge and skills after being given the intervention. Ownership of basic sanitation facilities of the house is one of the conditions of a healthy home. Health problems in the home environment can not be separated from the level of knowledge, attitude, income of the head of the family and the number of dependents of the head of the family. It is seen that there are still people who do not have thoughts about the importance of basic sanitation for their lives and there are still many people who do not have basic sanitation facilities. The purpose of this study is to find out the factors related to the ownership of basic household sanitation facilities in Selumar Water Village, Sijuk Subdistrict, Belitung Regency.This study uses observational analytics method with cross sectional approach. The samples in this study numbered 101 samples, using proportional random sampling method. Research instruments are questionnaires and checklists. Data analysis is performed using Chi square test. Bivariate analysis results show there is a relationship between the level of knowledge and the ownership of basic household sanitation facilities p value=0.000, there is a relationship between attitude with the ownership of basic household sanitation facilities p value=0.005, there is a relationship between the level of income and the ownership of basic household sanitation facilities p value=0.000, there is a relationship between the number of family members and the ownership of basic household sanitation facilities p value=0.016. The level of knowledge, attitude, income level and number of family members relates to the ownership of basic household sanitation facilities in Selumar Water Village, Sijuk Subdistrict, Belitung Regency

This work promotes an initial analysis, about the teaching knowledge about LGBTphobia present within the public education system, carried out based on the data acquired through anonline survey conducted in the second half of 2019 with teachers from the state schools of the São Paulo and which aimed to investigate the level of knowledge of these professionals about LGBTphobic bullying in the educational sphere of São Paulo. The methodological resources used in the data collection were of a quantitative nature and the phase of preparation of this article made use of the qualitative and bibliographic. As a result, it was concluded that LGBTs are the main target group of discriminationin public schools of the state of São Paulo, in addition to the little knowledge and skill of teachers on issues involving sexualitiesand prejudice in contemporary's Brazil.

The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between sources of information and the level of knowledge about nutrition in pregnant women at the Ciruas Health Center in 2019, including family information, mass media information, and information on health workers. This type of research is analytic, with a cross sectional design (cross-sectional). Data analysis with univariate analysis (frequency distribution) and bivariate analysis (Kai Squared Test). Based on the results of the study, it was found that most of the mothers obtained good sources of information from their families (62.7%). Statistical test results obtained p value = 0.031 and OR = 4.821, indicating that there is a significant relationship between family sources of information and the level of knowledge about nutrition in pregnant women, most of the mothers received good sources of information from health workers (58.8%). Statistical test results obtained p value = 0.041 and OR = 4.185, so that there is a significant relationship between sources of information from health workers and the level of knowledge about nutrition in pregnant women and most mothers get good sources of information from the mass media (84.3%). The results of statistical tests obtained p value = 0.117 and OR = 6.682, so there is no significant relationship between sources of mass media information and the level of knowledge about nutrition in pregnant women

Abstract Objectives In this article, we explored the level of knowledge and practice of licensed dentists in the United Arab Emirates regarding managing patients on antithrombotic medications. Moreover, to assess the need for educational intervention in this area is one of the objectives. Materials and Methods A total of 502 dentists answered 22 close-ended questionnaires. The sample size was determined based on the registry of the Ministry of Health. Results Only 5.6 and 5.9% showed satisfactory overall awareness about aspirin and plavix, respectively, as drugs may hamper hemostasis. A substantial proportion of dentists consider aspirin (63.1%) and clopidogrel (52.2%) discontinuation before treatment. More than one-third of the participants shall not consider extracting teeth before physician approval, and one-quarter to one-third of them refer patients on such medications to oral surgeons to perform tooth extraction. Most respondents did not adequately answer the questions about the additional hemostatic measures and postoperative analgesia. A significantly high number of participants (n = 440, 87.6%) want to attend updated courses on the dental management of such patients. Conclusions The dentists demonstrate a contrasting diversity of knowledge and practice approaches to patient management on antiplatelet agents. There is an apparent demand to raise understanding of the evidence-based management of a patient on such medications. It is vital to keep formalized training sessions and provide the necessary expertise to students and dentists to prevent unwanted complications.
