Cross-interest is a program that aims to expand and develop students' interests, talents and abilities by selecting subjects outside the specialization program group. The cross-interest program has been implemented for several years in Indonesia, but there is still very little evaluation of the implementation of this program, especially across physics interests. For the implementation of cross-interest physics to be more optimal, research related to cross-interest program evaluation in physics is needed. This study aims to evaluate cross-interest programs in physics and identify obstacles in its implementation hence the solutions can be formulated. This study involved 203 social science students as respondents from schools which implementing cross-interest physics programs. This type of research uses evaluative research with qualitative descriptive methods, where data collection is compiled using questionnaires and interviews which are conducted online. The results of this study indicate that there are still several obstacles in the implementation of cross-interest classes in physics, including the inadequacy of class grouping across interests with student interests, lack of teacher teaching hours, and lack of participation and enthusiasm of cross-interest class students compared to specialization class students. Based on the research results, it can be concluded that the implementation of the cross-interest program in physics is still below expectation. Through the results of this research, it is presented an evaluation material and become a consideration for the relevant parties in charge of implementing the cross-interest physics program subsequently there will be improvements in the implementation of cross-interest physics program purposefully.

Learning class is a collection of several students in an educational institution. Every beginning of the school year the educational institution conducts a grouping class test. However, sometimes class grouping is not in accordance with the ability of students. For this reason, a system is needed to be able to see the ability of students according to the desired parameters. Determination of the weight of test scores is done using the K-Means method as a grouping method. Iteration or repetition process in the K-Means method is very important because the weight value is still very possible to change. Therefore, the repetition process is carried out to produce a value that does not change and is used to determine the ability level of students. The results of the class grouping test scores affect the ability of students. Application of K-Means method is used in building an information system grouping student admissions in an educational institution. Acceptance of students will be grouped into 3 groups of learning classes. The results of testing the system that applies K-Means method and based on data on the admission of prospective students from educational institutions have very high accuracy with an error rate of 0.074.

This research examines Ernest Cline’s Ready Player One (2011), a popular science fiction novel. The objective of this research is to find out how a massive company called IOI (Innovative Online Industries) runs its domination against people in the novel. Furthermore, this paper also studies how the people resist the company’s domination. This study uses Marxist Theory since it investigates class, class conflict and struggle, domination, and resistance. The elements of the theory are identified in the novel and therefore analyzed to reach the objectives. The results of the analysis show that conflict is the reason of class grouping. In Ready Player One, the capitalist wants to expand its domination by winning the easter egg hunt while the proletariat resists it. It is concluded that class struggle and conflicts brings the proletariat to work together to resist the capitalist’s domination.

Optimization is a step to solve a problem to get more profitable results. Profitable based on the point of view used or the desired needs. The optimization value can be profitable in the maximum position or profitable in the minimum position. A problem can be solved in different ways, to produce the best solution. The best conditions can be viewed from many things, including tolerance, methods, and problems. Many theories have been developed to solve optimization problems. This optimization problem is often discussed because it is very close to human life. In this case, optimization can be interpreted as the process of achieving the most optimal results by adjusting input, selecting equipment, mathematical processes, and testing. Thereby in this paper, the Partitioning Around Medoids (PAM) method has succeeded in optimizing class grouping by calculating the closest distance between the achievement and intelligence of each student.

This article examines the process of familiarization the Sasak Alus Language into Indonesian language communication in early childhood. Through descriptive methods in the sociopragmatic study, this study aims to find forms of communication politeness character and the process of forming the character of early childhood politeness through loan languages. This study is strategic in two ways; first, the process of forming dominant characters is a deliberate and conscious activity through the learning system. Previously with word class grouping techniques and the description of the communication context, it was found that familiarization of the loan language of the Sasak Alus language into Indonesian communication fostered the character of politeness in communicating early childhood. This character is obtained through the use of the loan word Sasak Alus in Indonesian communication. The word loan consists of five classes of words, namely pronouns, interrogative, adverb modality (event), adverb quantity (tense), and demonstrative. The five classes of words are said in a flat, hoarse tone, until decrease. The pronunciation of words in that tone contains four motivations, namely to humble yourself, respect the other person, position yourself as part of others, and continue communication. The process is carried out early on through the process of inculcation of character by adults through the exemplary process.
