In this paper, we study the existence of solution to integro-differential equations in the space of Lebesgue-integrable  on un-bounded interval after transformed to nonlinear integral functional equation, the used tool is the fixed point theorem due to Schauder with weak measure of non compactness, due to De-Blasi. In addition, we give an example which satisfies the conditions of our existence theorem.

This paper is concerned with a sixth-order diffusion equation, which describes continuum evolution of film-free surface. By using the regularity estimates for the semigroups, iteration technique and the classical existence theorem of global attractors we verified the existence of global attractor for this surface diffusion equation in the spaces H3(Ω) and fractional-order spaces Hk(Ω), where 0 ≤ k < ∞.

В работе исследована краевая задача со смещением для гиперболического уравнения третьего порядка, которая содержит производную в граничных условиях. Доказана теорема единственности и существования регулярного решения исследуемой задачи. The paper investigates a boundary value problem with a shift for a third-order hyperbolic equation, which contains a derivative in the boundary conditions. A uniqueness and existence theorem for a regular solution of the problem under study is proved.

In this paper, we obtain an existence theorem of general strong noncooperative equilibrium point of vector-valued games, in which every player maximizes all goals. We also obtain an existence theorem of strong equilibrium point of vector-valued games with single-leader–multi-follower framework by using the upper semicontinuous of parametric strong noncooperative equilibrium point set of the followers. Moreover, we obtain some results on the generic stability of general strong noncooperative equilibrium point vector-valued games.

AbstractWe extend a result on existence of Walrasian equilibria in He and Yannelis (Econ Theory 61:497–513, 2016) by replacing the compactness assumption on consumption sets made there by the standard assumption that these sets are closed and bounded from below. This provides a positive answer to a question explicitly raised in He and Yannelis (Econ Theory 61:497–513, 2016). Our new equilibrium existence theorem generalizes many results in the literature as we do not require any transitivity or completeness or continuity assumption on preferences, initial endowments need not be in the interior of the consumption sets, preferences may be interdependent and price-dependent, and no monotonicity or local non satiation is needed for any of the agents.

Abstract In this paper, a general nonlinear discrete fractional boundary value problem is considered, of order between one and two. The main result is an existence theorem, proving the existence of at least one solution to the boundary value problem, subject to validity of a certain key inequality that allows unrestricted growth in the problem. The proof of this existence theorem is accomplished by using Brouwer's fixed point theorem as well as two other main results of this paper, namely, first, a result showing that the solutions of the boundary value problem are exactly the solutions to a certain equivalent integral representation, and, second, the establishment of solutions satisfying certain a priori bounds provided the key inequality holds. In order to establish the latter result, several novel discrete fractional inequalities are developed, each of them interesting in itself and of potential future use in different contexts. We illustrate the usefulness of our existence results by presenting two examples.

The boundary value problem of a fourth-order beam equation u 4 = λ f x , u , u ′ , u ″ , u ′ ′ ′ , 0 ≤ x ≤ 1 is investigated. We formulate a nonclassical cantilever beam problem with perturbed ends. By determining appropriate values of λ and estimates for perturbation measurements on the boundary data, we establish an existence theorem for the problem under integral boundary conditions u 0 = u ′ 0 = ∫ 0 1 p x u x d x , u ″ 1 = u ′ ′ ′ 1 = ∫ 0 1 q x u ″ x d x , where p , q ∈ L 1 0 , 1 , and f is continuous on 0 , 1 × 0 , ∞ × 0 , ∞ × − ∞ , 0 × − ∞ , 0 .

In recent years, a new direction of research has emerged in the theory of stochastic differential equations, namely, stochastic differential equations with a fractional Wiener process. This class of processes makes it possible to describe adequately many real phenomena of a stochastic nature in financial mathematics, hydrology, biology, and many other areas. These phenomena are not always described by stochastic systems satisfying the conditions of strong mixing, or weak dependence, but are described by systems with a strong dependence, and this strong dependence is regulated by the so-called Hurst parameter, which is a characteristic of this dependence. In this article, we consider the problem of the existence of an optimal control for a stochastic differential equation with a fractional Wiener process, in which the diffusion coefficient is present, which gives more accurate simulation results. An existence theorem is proved for an optimal control of a process that satisfies the corresponding stochastic differential equation. The main result was obtained using the Girsanov theorem for such processes and the existence theorem for a weak solution for stochastic equations with a fractional Wiener process.

In this paper, we consider the problem of formal iteration. We construct an area preserving mapping which does not have any square root. This leads to a counterexample to Moser’s existence theorem for an interpolation problem. We give examples of formal transformation groups such that the iteration problem has a solution for every element of the groups
