The article traces the history of the packing of university medical collections during the so-called “golden age” of high school museum affairs – from the end of the XVIIIth century – until the First World War and the importance of such components of the university's cultural heritage. The methodology of the article is a set of scientific principles, general scientific and special historical methods. Scientific novelty. In Ukrainian historiography this issue is considered in a comprehensive way for the first time. Conclusions. Researchers often analyze universities through the prism of their defining educational and research function. Such groupings of medical type have their genesis of creation. It had been developing parallel with the transformation of universities. Teachers of Lviv University accumulated the first medical collections in Ukrainian higher education institutions in the late XVIIIth century. In the XIX century, as part of creating a classical education system in the territories that were part of the Russian and Austrian empires, teachers of the mentioned Lviv, Kharkiv, Kyiv and Novorossiysk universities also actively have been forming medical collections. It was an essential basis for organizing the research process or its result. Nowadays, these accumulated collections must be considered in the context of their cultural significance. It dramatically increases their chances of survival in the future.

It is proved that aesthetic information is not identical with semantic or scientific information. Semantic information should be understood as new knowledge (message, experience in the process of aesthetic perception) about the object. It can be expressed by objective methods in a certain system of knowledge. In contrast, aesthetic information is new about the artist who conveys certain semantic information. Aesthetic information expresses the artist's relationship to the object he is reproducing. It is considered that cognition is not only a description of an object and a process of transmission and processing of information. Cognition is also the application of methods of thinking and logical operations to identify, reflect an object and create an "image of reality" in the human mind. The study of their detection in science is the subject of the logic of scientific knowledge. However, human use of methods of thinking and logical operations in science and art are different. The logic of the aesthetic relation is still a great mystery, although in all the processes that take place in art, one can see a kind of discovery of the methods of logical thinking and mediation. Thus, art as a study takes place within its individual types and genres, as happened, for example, with abstractionism in painting and music, which for almost a century experimented with the influence of various mixtures and relationships of color and sound on human perception; moreover, the Impressionist artists themselves often stated that the purpose of their work was to influence people through art and that the world around them was nothing but a combination of sounds, colors, light lines and shadows. Art as research can be manifested clearly in any single process that takes place in art, but in a process that determines the work of an artist. Leonardo la Vinci had a holistic nature, but he often became a scientist only when he conducted his art studies with research accuracy and scrupulousness. In the latter case, art is especially clearly transformed into its opposite - into science. The artist becomes a research scientist. He seeks to reproduce and study the process in art in more detail, and on the way to this goal he slowly deviates from the methods of artistic research, replacing them with the means and methods of scientific research. The article investigates an attempt to apply information theory to the study of art as cognition. The division of information into semantic and aesthetic is applied. The research function of art as its special side is revealed, and aesthetic cognition in this case is a part of aesthetic relation, where art as cognition is only a separate side of art as a kind of human activity.

This study explores the way in which the market research function can facilitate entry into developing markets by analysing the demographic, and psychological parameters of the Arab consumers in the gulf countries. After collecting data from real participants (n=601), partial least squares approach to structural equation modelling (PLS-SEM) was used to analyse the latent variables and their indicators. The results indicate that developing markets benefit from in-depth market research functions to flesh out the plan for a product, service or brand. This research function should utilize demographic data to segment the target market into more manageable sections. The psychological determinants which defined the marketing strategies developed ensured that the results were more cost-effective. Although consumer’s psychologicallybased behaviour and their demographic variables affect performance in emerging markets, behavioural intention to buy brands in the countries of the Gulf Cooperation Council has the greatest effect. Therefore, affinity marketing with luxurious products would be lucrative if it served such customers.

The purpose of the article is to review changes in worldview and artistic expressions in fixing the cultural landscape of Norway; to trace the reasons in the formation of the style of romanticism, where research function in reflecting nature and culture had a big role; to analyze the features of the local artistic tradition and forms of stylistic transformations that led to the evolution of the cultural landscape vision. To achieve the goal, the analyses from the works of J. Flintoe, J.C. Dahl, N. Astrup, C. Krog, E. Munch, G. Mynthe, E. Werenskiold, K. Kielland, H. Sohlberg, B.Ness, N. Krantz. This made it possible to focus on figurative diversity in the interpretation of the cultural landscape. The research methodology is based on the application of theoretical methods, art analysis, and systematization of works that correspond to this topic. The scientific novelty of the work lies in the actualization of artistic possibilities in capturing changes in the cultural landscape. Conclusions. Paintings are becoming a part of the scientific documentation for the present day. This leads to a new perspective, where painting becomes historical evidence and valuable material for modern architects, restorers, historians, archaeologists. According to the results of the research, it was proved that in the period from the 1820s to the 1920s the most expressive and active development of the cultural landscape theme, was realized by using art as a document. Various clarifications have been developed, such as the mood of romanticism transforms into the style of modernism, and how the compositional constructions of the Middle Age are actualized in the style Art Nouveau. This strengthens the idea of using works of art as a tool for analyzing the evolution of the cultural landscape, due to its potential informative content. One of the main conclusions of the study is based on the idea of relations towards the environment while creating an artistic image of the cultural landscape. In the Norwegian context, the cultural landscape, as a human environment, has been transformed from a panoramic landscape of nature interspersed with human footprints; through the application of man to scale, as a staff, as a romantic hero, a social character. The image of cities has evolved from the documental historical place form to the conflict inside the environment, and like blended color textures. According to the results of the study, it is concluded that art is an active element in fixing the cultural landscape. It is proved that works of art of previous epochs are invaluable material in interdisciplinary research in the reality of contemporary. The comprehensive and systematic experience of Norwegian researchers should be implemented in similar assignments in Ukrainian realities.

When studying various processes taking place in real life, we have to deal with one of the most important concepts - the concept of stability of movement. The foundations of the theory of stability of motion were developed at the end of the last century by the great Russian scientist A. M. Lyapunov. As is known, Lyapunov stability is considered on an infinite time interval, which is a serious obstacle for many applications, since most of the objects of research function for a finite period of time. The concept of stability, introduced for an unlimited period of time, cannot be used to evaluate the properties of motion within a finite period of time. The study of motion stability by analyzing solutions of the corresponding equations is permissible and makes sense only if the mathematical model of physical reality is fully adequate. The purpose of this work is to study the stability and stabilization of the motion of linear non-stationary systems.

The implementation of public evaluation and accreditation policies by Colombian higher education institutions, suggests the imminent adoption of a new university model that introduces market logic and modifies their substantive functions, which has a direct effect on the role of academic actors, without evident resistance to internalizing a new form of institutional life. This study applies a historical-organizational qualitative method to investigate such problem at a public higher education institution in Colombia. The results show that the institution reconfigured its history and implemented guidelines established by public policies that underlie a perspective of higher education management based on international proposals where New Public Management (NPM) and governance generate different dynamics that modify the rules of the game by overvaluing the research function and giving new meaning to the work of academics in a logic of scientific production to achieve objectives that improve the reputation and positioning of the institution in national and international rankings.
