Information on the organization and activities of the Institute of Chemistry and Chemical Technology of the Krasnoyarsk Scientific Center of the Siberian Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences is presented. Its scientific directions are highlighted, the results of fundamental scientific and applied research, participation in the creation of technologies for deep processing of mineral and organic resources of Siberia, hydrocarbons and biomass, organization of the development of the scientific potential of the region, international cooperation are noted.

An energy analysis of the processes of obtaining and using artificial cold in chemical technology is presented. The most well-known methods of obtaining and applying the cooling effect are considered: adiabatic expansion of vapor and gaseous bodies in expanders, throttling. Special attention is paid to the effect of object deviation from the ideal gas model.

The current evaluation method does not consider the coordination and overall situation of various practical skills, which affects the evaluation contact degree and leads to hidden dangers of production safety. Therefore, an evaluation method of chemical technology safety practical operation ability based on a stochastic model is proposed. Using association rules to design the feature mining algorithm of practical operation ability, combined with crosslayer coding strategy, the mapping relationship between safety accidents and practical operation ability is established. The chemical safety practical operation skills are simulated by a random model, and the practical operation skills are classified and coordinated according to the simulation predictive control results. According to the coordination results, the evaluation index system is constructed, the index weight is determined, and the evaluation model of chemical technology safety operation ability is constructed. The experimental results show that the maximum connection degree of the evaluation method designed in this paper is 88.06%, and the evaluation results are more accurate, which is helpful to improve the production safety of chemical enterprises.

On the 150th anniversary occasion of the Department of Chemical Technology at the Lviv Polytechnic National University founding, the activities of chemical departments and faculties at the time of Polytechnic School in 1877–1918 and the conditions of study of students was covered. Creation and transformation of chemical departments and the role of their leaders was considered. Scientific-pedagogical and public activities of famous scientists and teachers such as August Freund, Yulian Medvedskyi, Bronislaw Pawlewski, Roman Zaloziecki, Stefan Niementowski, Ignacy Moscicki, their contribution to development of Lviv Polytechnic and Galicia was characterized.

The results of the development and testing of nanodiamond triboactive from Krasnoyarsk Institute of chemistry and chemical technology, Krasnoyarsk Institute of Biophysics together with "RealDzerjinsk", as well as the results of the development of the new triboactive based on nano carbon fibers. It is proved that in contrast to pure nanodiamond powders imported nanomaterials explosion technologies graphite represent pseudoalpina nanoparticles surrounded by a carbon shell. Saturating them various peripheral organic compounds can be sedimentary stable carbon clusters, working at friction in oil is not for mechanism sergiovanni, and the mechanism of chemisorption and polymerization components triborate. A new, more technologically advanced and cheaper tribological material GRAF SB on the basis of on nano carbon fibers, are no less effective nanodiamond, only works on mechanism of adsorption and chemisorption.

The article provides a brief overview of the research carried out at the Department of Chemical Technology of Polymers of SPSIT in the field of chemical destruction of household waste of polyethyleneterephthalate from 2008 to the present. It has been shown that the use of PET glycolysis and aminolysis methods makes it possible to obtain useful products that can be used both as independent binders (unsaturated polyester resins) and as effective modifiers that increase the physical, mechanical and operational properties of already well-proven polymer materials. In some cases, modification of the compositions with PET chemical recycling products leads to an increase in the characteristics of polymer materials by up to 5 times.
