The use of polyphenols as adjuvants in lowering risk factors for various debilitating diseases has been investigated in recent years due to their possible antioxidant action. Polyphenols represent a fascinating and relatively new subject of research in nutraceuticals and nutrition, with interest rapidly expanding since they can help maintain health by controlling metabolism, weight, chronic diseases, and cell proliferation. Resveratrol is a phenolic compound found mostly in the pulp, peels, seeds, and stems of red grapes. It has a wide variety of biological actions that can be used to prevent the beginning of various diseases or manage their symptoms. Resveratrol can influence multiple inflammatory and non-inflammatory responses, protecting organs and tissues, thanks to its interaction with immune cells and its activity on SIRT1. This compound has anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, anti-apoptotic, neuroprotective, cardioprotective, anticancer, and antiviral properties, making it a potential adjunct to traditional pharmaceutical therapy in public health. This review aims to provide a comprehensive analysis of resveratrol in terms of active biological effects and mechanism of action in modifying the immune cellular response to promote human psychophysical health.

Исследование стабильности бетулина методом определения электрокинетического потенциала. На сегодняшний день бетулин интересен в области медицины, косметики и пищевой промышленности, ведь он обладает огромным спектром биологических действий. Из него можно получить производные, которые, в свою очередь, имеют определенное хорошо выраженное действие и используются для производства различных медикаментов. И чтобы интенсифицировать процесс очистки и фильтрования бетулина для экономии времени и затрат на энергию, необходимо узнать его заряд коллоидной частицы и стабильность в водном растворе. Для этого было проведено определение электрокинетического потенциала. Найден ξ-потенциал бетулина в водном растворе, который показал, что с увеличением концентрации водного раствора бетулина вероятность разрушения дисперсии и возможность образования хлопьев при добавлении коагулянта или флогулянта повышаются. Определен заряд поверхности коллоидной частицы бетулина. From it, you can get derivatives, which in turn have a certain well-defined effect and are used for the production of various medicines. In order to intensify the process of cleaning and filtering betulin to save time and energy costs, we need to know its colloidal particle charge and stability in an aqueous solution. To do this, we conducted a method for determining the electrokinetic potential. we determined the zeta potential of betulin in an aqueous solution, which showed that with an increase in the concentration of betulin in water, the probability of destruction of the dispersion and the possibility of flocculation when adding a coagulant or flogulant increases. We determined the surface charge of a colloidal betulin particle.

Diabetes cardiomyopathy is one of the key factors of mortality among diabetic patients around the globe. One of the prior contributors to the progression of diabetic cardiomyopathy is cardiac mitochondrial dysfunction. The cardiac mitochondrial dysfunction can induce oxidative stress in cardiomyocytes and was found to be the cause of majority of the heart morphological and dynamical changes in diabetic cardiomyopathy. To slow down the occurrence of diabetic cardiomyopathy, it is crucial to discover therapeutic agents that target mitochondrial-induced oxidative stress. Flavonoid is a plentiful phytochemical in plants that shows a wide range of biological actions against human diseases. Flavonoids have been extensively documented for their ability to protect the heart from diabetic cardiomyopathy. Flavonoids’ ability to alleviate diabetic cardiomyopathy is primarily attributed to their antioxidant properties. In this review, we present the mechanisms involved in flavonoid therapies in ameliorating mitochondrial-induced oxidative stress in diabetic cardiomyopathy.

Abstract Background The ocean is one of the world’s most important sources of bioactive chemicals in the marine environment. Microbiologists, ecologists, agronomists, taxonomists, and evolutionary biologists have been increasingly interested in marine microbial natural products (MMNPs) in recent decades. Main body Diverse marine bacteria appear to get the ability to manufacture an astounding diversity of MMNPs with a wide range of biological actions, including anti-tumor, antimicrobial, and anti-cardiovascular agents according to numerous studies. Short conclusions Innovative isolation and culture methodologies, tactics for identifying novel MMNPs via routine screens, metagenomics, genomics, combinatorial biosynthesis, and synthetic biology are all discussed in this review. There is also a discussion of potential issues and future directions for studying MMNPs.

A morte biológica é um processo que se relaciona com uma série de ações biológicas celulares sinalizadoras. Na busca de compreensão da alma é possível sugerirmos proposições que possam interagir e integrar os corpos físico e espiritual. Perante proteínas celulares responsáveis pela proteção celular e eliminação de componentes tóxicos, buscamos objetivar uma associação entre as perspectivas filosóficas, inclusive na religião para o processo de morte. A morte deve ser compreendida como condição natural para os seres vivos, e que desencadeia a esperança na própria vida. Na morte programada e prevista pelas células biológicas, seja por motivo de saúde ou até mesmo a finalização de um tempo de vida, as etiquetas químicas da morte entram em ação. Morte e vida estão em íntima relação biológica e espiritual. É nesse sentido que a morte também é um fator de manutenção das tradições e preocupações humanas para uma evolução biológica e divina. In the search for understanding the soul, it is possible to suggest propositions that can interact and integrate the physical and spiritual bodies. Faced with cellular proteins responsible for cellular protection and elimination of toxic components, we seek to aim at an association between philosophical perspectives, including religion for the process of death. Death must be understood as a natural condition for living beings, which triggers hope in life itself. In programmed and predicted death by biological cells, whether for health reasons or even the end of a lifetime, the chemical labels of death come into play. Death and life are in an intimate biological and spiritual relationship.
