This research aims to determine how the effect of combination of Moringa Leaf consumption with aerobic exercise against VO2Max and Lactate Threshold as ergogenic aids. 16 Taekwondo athletes are participated in this research. Participants are divided into 2 groups: the experimental group, which has been given the treatment of Moringa leaves and aerobic exercise, and the control group, which has been given an aerobic treatment only. The method used is experimental method with randomized pretest-posttest comparison group design. This research took 6 weeks length with aerobic exercise 4 days a week. Moringa leaves consumed at a dose of 2000mg during treatment. The data collection used a Balke Test to measure the VO2max and modified Conconi Test to measure the lactate threshold. The results of this research showed a significant increase in mean before and after treatment in both variables from each group (p <0.05). However, the value of the increase in both variables between the two groups did not show significant difference (p> 0.05). These results, it can be concluded that there is a significant increase of VO2Max and Lactate Threshold between pre test and post test in each group, but there is no significant difference from deviation of increase of between control and experiment group although the experimental group increase is higher than the control group.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji pengaruh dari dua bentuk latihan interval terhadap lactate threshold (LT) dan waktu tempuh lari 1500 m. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuasi eksperimen. yang dilakukan melalui teknik sampling jenuh. 12 pelari remaja (6 putra dan 6 putri) dikelompokkan secara matching. Kelompok latihan interval melakukan fast interval training (FIT) dengan durasi 30 detik, dengan 4-5 pengulangan dan 4 menit istirahat. Intensitas Average 1500m running velocity sebesar 120% AV. Sedangkan kelompok latihan interval melakukan slow interval training (SIT) dengan durasi ≥ 2 menit. Pengulangan dilakukan sebanyak 6-10, dan 3 menit istirahat pada intensitas 110% dari LT. Data penelitian diperoleh melalui the modified conconi test dan tes lari 1500 m. Hasil pengolahan dan analisis data menunjukkan ada perbedaan yang signifikan antara SIT dan FIT terhadap LT (p=0.029) dan waktu tempuh lari 1500 m (p=0.004). LT berkorelasi dengan waktu tempuh lari 1500 m pada kedua kelompok latihan, yaitu SIT (r =-0.942) dan FIT (r = -0.942). Temuan pada penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa SIT memberikan pengaruh yang lebih besar terhadap LT dan waktu tempuh lari 1500m dibandingkan dengan FIT. Dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa SIT merupakan strategi yang efektif dan efisien dalam meningkatkan LT dan memperbaiki waktu tempuh lari 1500 m untuk periode latihan selama 4 minggu.

The aim of the study was to compare the currently methodics for identification functional and anaerobic thresholds on a bicycle ergometer by triathletes. The sample included triathletes (men), regular participants in the Czech triathlon cup (n = 10, age 35.89 ± 7.94 years, body height 181.83 ± 6.52 cm, weight 80.65 ± 6.53 kg). In the study, we compared the evaluation methodics using lactate curve, respiratory parameters, theoretical calculation, motor test and Conconi test. For statistical data processing we used the Repeated Measures, for evaluating the significance of differences between each test method then pairwise comparation (Bonferroni test). Results showed statistically significant differences (p = 0.000). Significantly higher values are reached in Conconi test (173 ± 14.2 beats.min–1, 313 ± 74.8 W). In pairwise comparison of methodics are differences between lactate and Conconi test in HR values (p = 0.037) as well as the difference between HR lactate test and theoretical calculation (p = 0.039). Most statistical variations in the watts evaluation is found again in connection with Conconi test (time trial: p = 0.039; lactate test: p = 0.013; spiroergometry: p = 0.041).
