Many organizations have adopted or are adopting standards and / or specifications of management systems, such as ISO 9001, ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001, ISO / IEC 27001, ISO 22000, and ISO / IEC 20000, out of necessity or to align with trends. Unfortunately, it often results in a set of independent systems, with different goals and objectives. These fragmented systems are often documented in non-uniform styles, are under the control of different people and are audited separately. Integrated management systems (IMS) allow management to establish directions for the effective and efficient fulfillment of the organization's objectives. From managing employee needs to study the performance of competitors, encouraging good practice, and minimizing risk and maximizing resource utilization, the integrated management system approach can help the organization meet its strategic business objectives. Integration must be planned and implemented in a structured way. Many organizations have adopted the standards of the management system due to external pressures, following customer requests to implement a quality standard or external requirements to introduce an environmental system, and / or occupational health and safety [2]. On the other hand, the integration of management systems has beneficial effects on the whole business. Therefore, the first concern must be to understand the needs of the business, correlated with the mission and vision of the organization. In order to respond to the growing interest in an integrated approach to management systems and organizational risk management, the first step an organization must take is to define the common requirements of management systems. The authors aim in this article to present the advantages brought by IMS by their correct implementation within organizations. A review of the current integrated management systems is carried out and the problems that arise during use are exposed. The research includes a guide of good practices from the start to the end of an IMS implementation. Thus, the use of synergies and the integration of resources allows the creation of an efficient and simplified management system. Processes and procedures are viewed from several angles, in order to identify and optimize the IMS implementation process in order to obtain positive results.

Recruitment is one of the main pillars for the proper functioning of a healthy environment, which meets its objectives and is a process coordinated by the human resources department, together with the respective managers for each position. The recruitment process consists in promoting vacancies using the most appropriate channels, means and tools to maximize the attraction rate of the most suitable candidates, as addressability and accessibility within the target group of potential applicants to meet almost all the conditions. and the criteria set out in the profile of the ideal candidate. There is an acute need for skills in a labor market that demands competitiveness as soon as possible. The most important thing that managers and leaders do in an organization is to hire the right people for the right job. At present, the recruitment process has become very dynamic and is constantly changing. We are currently facing an impressive increase in the use of technology and automation in almost every aspect of the recruitment industry. Undoubtedly, the automation of the recruitment process and the integration of artificial intelligence and machine learning algorithms in these systems has brought a number of benefits and changed the way candidates are selected. The authors of the article aim to conduct a bibliographic research to illustrate the current state of human resources management and the methods adopted in its optimization. The latest trends in this field are researched and the main challenges that appear are exposed. There are presented the means used to maintain employees within the organizations and increase their productivity. The collected data are interpreted and a model of systematization of the recruitment process is proposed using process modeling, for an easier implementation. In conclusion, it is found that the role of recruiters will change through the adoption on a larger scale of solutions to automate the process of search and selection of candidates. Although the benefits of recruiting automation could outweigh the arguments against it, it is prudent for recruiters to combine technology with the human factor in the selection process of the right candidate. The most important strategic challenge in HR for companies is to maintain a high level of employee involvement, which is difficult to achieve only through technology.

Significant industrial settlements along the main Europe inland waterways are going to be analysed based on NACE codes per port (maritime and inland) in ports and along the waterway. The industrial areas around ports have been analysed and different KPIs were developed, like distance from industrial areas for handling infrastructure, throughput or industrial segments. Furthermore, an analysys concerning the link between the length of the waterways and the land usage areas has been performed as well as the influnce of the population density on the land usage area ratio.

The notion of quality is defined as the totality of the attributes and essential aspects by virtue of which one is what it is, distinguishing itself from the other things. The article has as its starting point the definition of quality according to SR EN ISO 9001:2015. This standard defines the quality like „the set of properties and features of a product or service that gives it the ability to meet the expressed and implied needs of the customers”. Our article treats three categories of expressed and implicit necessities: the expressed and implied needs of clients, as beneficiaries of Products/Work/Services (P/W/S); the expressed and implied necessities of an efficient production management; the expressed and implicit necessities of society as a whole. In the article we present and analyze the components of quality (decalogue of quality) and the correlations between them. The quality term involves two main aspects (components), namely: utility, expressed by degree of utility (this component quantifies the extent to which the P/W/S meets the customer's needs and consequently sells). Technical component (intrinsic), which refers strictly to the technical characteristics of P/W/S. It is obvious that there is mutual dependence between the two components of the concept of quality (biunivoc).

The management of historic buildings is achieved through several types of interventions. The interventions are established in relation to the degree of protection through the List of Historical Monuments, or through its intrinsic value mentioned by the preliminary studies. In principle, within a historical area, cultural values ​​can be exceptional, high, medium and null. Safeguarding historic areas is considered fundamental to the local culture of each settlement. The patrimony of a community represents the accumulation of experiences, of crafts and arts, of its development. Heritage is the legacy left to future generations. Therefore, any intervention in a protected area must be subject to the rules for the protection of the original substance and valuable compositional elements. Another important goal is focused on managing the concept of built value. Thus, it must be borne in mind that any cultural objective must be doubled by a certain value of use. Any space that requires preservation will be better maintained if used. Consequently, the management of cultural value, involves the management of functions, strategies for establishing development directions. This balance can be ensured through intervention regulations that can provide for permitted, conditional and prohibited uses. In the article we present the ways in which interventions on historical monuments can be managed. The main professional concepts must be supported by effective urban instruments, implemented at administrative level. We also aim to present possible strategies for attracting investors and promoting architectural heritage resources. The balance of decisions, the process from the study of cultural value, to the implementation of the intervention categories and to the realization of the projects represent the main focus of the study. Our conclusions will be based on the project made for the protection and restoration of the historical center of Craiova.

The paper presents aspects related to noise pollution due to road traffic in Drobeta Turnu Severin. The main noise sources in Drobeta Turnu Severin are: road transport, railway and industrial activities. Based on the noise level measurement performed to assess the traffic noise over a period of 7 years, namely between 2013 and 2019, on an important road traffic artery in the mentioned city, predictions for its level over the next three years are made, correlating it with the number of cars that are supposed to cross the artery. For this study a road where the equivalent noise level exceeded the limit almost every year, was chosen. For obtaining the correlation between our data we have used the regression method. The noise level depends on the time of day in which the measurements were made but also on the season. Another correlation, between the equivalent noise level, and the number and type of cars was made, for a winter day in 2020, on another important artery, in order to see how much influence these factors have, on the noise level.

SNTFC CFR SA owns a fleet of 841 passenger coaches, which it maintains through usual overhauls and repairs at high safety levels provided by the national railway regulations and instructions. One of the most important systems of a wagon is the braking system. One part of this system is also the friction liner, its role being to support the friction gasket that applies the braking force on the brake disc. This friction liner is made of cast iron and is a component included in risk class 1A, according to OMT 290/2000, with a service life of 10 years. Depending on the degree of wear and safety in operation, one may decide to replace it with a new part or intervention to return to the initial dimensional shape. Considering the importance of this friction liner, a very precise analysis must be performed, and this should show the steps necessary to reintroduce the part into operation. The performed analysis is a welding reconditioning procedure, which must be applied with precision. The paper indicates all the stages and results we looked for by applying a reconditioning procedure for the particular situation of using the welding process by means of tables / graphs and of results obtained as of detailed works.

In this paper, starting from recent data provided by the National Institute of Statistics, we analyze the tourism activity in Mehedinți County. We apply the regression method and analyze some models. We also compare the economic results with those of previous years. Also, in this paper we study the stability of dynamic systems with applications in economics. The stability study is done using the Leapunov function method. The originality of the paper consists in the way we choose the mathematical model in case of regression and in the way we choose the Leapunov function in case of dynamic systems in which we analyze stability.

Understanding the factors that lie beneath travelers’ satisfaction and how they relate with service performance and different improvements is a key issue for operators and public authorities when aiming to maintain existing users and to attract potential users from the car's users. The purpose of the research is to investigate the perceived quality of public transportation in Bucharest, the capital of Romania, a city with over two million inhabitants and additional other two millions of transit citizens. This approach aims to identify the aspects that mostly influence the perception of overall quality of service and to investigate the main methods/instruments for evaluating the passenger satisfaction index. Moreover, the research aims to assess the public transportation users that are ready and available to shift their travelling habits from a fixed and periodic timetable service to the "mobility-as-a-service" approach. Research methodology combines qualitative study based on focus group with quantitative study based on surveys. The representative sample is selected from the Bucharest public transportation’s users. The results of the research could be used by the both public transportation operators and public authorities that have to comply to the national and european regulations in public transportation quality assurance.

This paper aims to identify the needs for updating the European Welder Training Guideline in order to introduce chapters for new digital innovative tools that can be used both in theoretical and practical training of welders. The objective of the revision of curriculum in the context of digital tools is to boost the digital skills of trainers, both youngsters (I-VET) and older personnel seeking further training (C-VET), thus targeting the issues raised during COVID-19 pandemic crisis as well as to increase the attractiveness of secondary/vocational schools and innovativeness of learning programmes. The paper present a research among VET school teachers for identify in what extent the new theoretical and practical digital tools can be implemented in order to increase the level of digital competences of the teachers as well as digital and professional competences of the learners.
