Abstract. This paper investigates leveling control system of suspended access platform using an observer-based controller. Uncertain linear systems for leveling control are derived and represented in terms of a set of matrix inequalities. In the system, all state variables needn’t be measured; the perturbations of leveling control are assumed to be described by structural uncertainties. The stiff problem is avoided since the design procedure is independent of the small parameter. The control problem can be effectively solved by the proposed iterative linear matrix inequality approach. The convergence of the algorithms is also studied. Furthermore, a numerical example and simulation results are given to illustrate the effectiveness of proposed method.

The thesis developed a DSP -based automatically leveling control system of four of the supporting for a two -phase hybrid stepping motor which includes the introduction of the leveling strategy, the composition and the design of software based on the TMS320F2812.Practice proved that the system is a comparatively new system leveling easy to realize. The leveling precision of the system is less than six cent and the leveling time is less than five minutes.

<p>Multi-supporting leveling platform was wildly applied in areas of normal or military industry. To complete some frocking targets, it usually requires good performance of levelness and short time adjustment. It is very meaningful to enhance the automatic level of leveling platform by mining adaptive controlling algorithm which satisfied the levelling error and used shorter time. In this paper, four-point supporting electromechanical leveling system was set as the object to study. By analyzing the leveling characteristic of the system, appropriate leveling strategies were put forward. The simulation result of the system, whose model was built based on MPC, show that this way achieves good auto leveling performance.</p>
