The asymmetric unit of the title compound, C11H12ClN3O3S, contains two independent molecules with different conformations in which the benzene ring and the thiourea fragment form dihedral angles of 87.28 (12) and 66.44 (10)°. The O atom of the thioamide group is involved in bifurcated N—H...O intra- and intermolecular hydrogen bonding; the latter interaction links the independent molecules into a dimer. In the crystal, N—H...S interactions link the molecules into chains propagating along the c axis.

Two independent molecules,AandB, comprise the asymmetric unit of the title compound, C20H21N3OSe. While the benzene ring directly bound to the central triazole ring is inclined to the same extent in both molecules [dihedral angles = 40.41 (12) (moleculeA) and 44.14 (12)° (B)], greater differences are apparent in the dihedral angles between the Se-bound rings,i.e.74.28 (12) (moleculeA) and 89.91 (11)° (B). Close intramolecular Se...N interactions of 2.9311 (18) (moleculeA) and 2.9482 (18) Å (B) are noted. In the crystal, supramolecular chains along theaaxis are formedviaO—H...N hydrogen bonding. These are connected into layersviaC—H...O and C—H...N interactions; these stack along (01-1) without directional intermolecular interactions between them.

The title compound, C15H16N2O2S, contains a five-membered thiophene ring fused to a benzene ring and a substituted pyrimidinone ring. All three rings in each of the independent molecules of the asymmetric unit lie in approximately the same plane. The crystal structure is stabilized by intermolecular C—H...O hydrogen bonding and π–π stacking interactions.

There are three independent molecules in the asymmetric unit of the title compound, C9H11NO3, which are connected by O—H...O hydrogen bonds, forming anR33(15) ring. The dihedral angles between the planes of the benzene and amide groups are 75.16 (3), 71.47 (3) and 70.56 (3)°. The hydroxy O atom lies 0.912 (3), 1.172 (2) and 1.339 (2) Å from the mean plane of the corresponding benzene ring in the three molecules.

The asymmetric unit of the title compound, C14H10N2O2, contains two independent molecules. In each molecule, the benzodioxole ring system displays an envelope conformation, with the methylene C atom located at the flap deviating by 0.081 (2) and 0.230 (2) Å from the mean plane formed by the other atoms. The dihedral angles between the benzoimidazole ring system (all atoms) and the benzodioxole benzene ring are 15.35 (6) and 10.99 (7)°. In the crystal, molecules are linked by N—H...N hydrogen bonds into chains running along the [101].

The asymmetric unit of the title compound, C19H16N2O5S, contains four independent molecules (A,B,CandD), with two molecules (BandD) displaying disorder in their methylsulfanyl groups [occupancy ratios of 0.797 (11):0.203 (11) and 0.85 (2):0.15 (2)]. The nitro groups are twisted slightly out of the planes of the 2-pyrroline rings to which they are bonded with dihedral angles of 10.17 (1), 8.01 (1), 9.44 (1) and 8.87 (1)° in moleculesA,B,CandD, respectively. The 2-pyrroline rings are almost orthogonal to the attached tolyl rings, forming dihedral angles of 73.44 (1), 81.21 (1), 88.18 (8) and 73.94 (1)° for moleculesA,B,CandD, respectively. There are two independent molecules in the asymmetric unit of the title compound, C12H15N3S, both of which display disorder of several C atoms in the N-bound ring (occupancy ratios of 0.75:0.25 in the first independent molecule and 0.50:0.50 in the second) with the methyl H atoms also being disordered in the first molecule (occupancy ratio of 0.70:0.30). The planes of the benzene ring and the N—N—C—N fragment make dihedral angles of 12.92 (14)° in the first independent molecule and 7.60 (13)° in the second. In the crystal, molecules are linked by weak N—H...S hydrogen bonds into chains along thea-axis direction. The crystal packing ressembles a herringbone arrangement.

The asymmetric unit of the title compound, C11H12BrClN2OS, consists of two crystallographically independent molecules. In each molecule, the butanoylthiourea unit is nearly planar, with maximum deviations of 0.1292 (19) and 0.3352 (18) Å from the mean plane defined by nine non-H atoms, and is twisted relative to the terminal benzene ring with dihedral angles of 69.26 (7) and 82.41 (7)°. An intramolecular N—H...O hydrogen bond generates anS(6) ring motif in each butanoylthiourea unit. In the crystal, N—H...O hydrogen bonds link the two independent molecules together, forming anR22(12) ring motif. The molecules are further connected into a tape along thecaxisviaN—H...S and C—H...S hydrogen bonds.

The title compound, C27H26O3, crystallized with two independent molecules (AandB) in the asymmetric unit. In moleculeA, the plane of the central benzene ring forms dihedral angles of 75.78 (14) and 52.75 (16)° with that of the terminal benzene rings, and the dihedral angle between the planes of the terminal benzene rings is 51.49 (17)°. The asymmetric unit of the title compound, C19H12N2, contains two independent molecules with a similar structure. In the two molecules, the dihedral angles between the carbazole ring system and the benzene ring are 47.9 (5) and 45.4 (4)°, similar to the value of 47.89 (6)° found in the previously reported structure [Saha & Samanta (1999).Acta Cryst.C55, 1299–1300]. In the crystal, there is a weak C—H...N hydrogen bond between the two independent molecules.
