In the title compound, C16H17NO4, the dihedral angle between benzene rings is 72.7 (2)°. The methoxy groups are rotated by 2.4 (2) and −4.9 (2) (benzilidene moiety) and by 5.6 (3)° (aniline moiety) relative to the adjacent benzene ring. In the crystal, the molecules are linked into chains along [101] through C—H...O and O—H...N hydrogen bonds.

The molecule of the title compound, C14H15NO4S, is L-shaped, with the central C—S—N—C segment having a torsion angle of −62.9 (2)°. The dihedral angle between the benzene rings is 89.17 (9)°. The C atoms of the methoxy groups are close to coplanar with their attached benzene ring [deviations = 0.084 (4) and −0.192 (5) Å]. An intramolecular C—H...O hydrogen bond occurs. In the crystal, inversion dimers linked by pairs of N—H...O(S) hydrogen bonds generateR22(8) loops.

In the title compound, C14H14N2O3, the nitro group is nearly coplanar with the benzene ring to which it is bonded [dihedral angle = 1.70 (2)°], and this ring ispara-substituted by the aminomethylene group. The dihedral angle between the benzene rings is 57.8 (1)°. The crystal structure is stabilized by N—H...O and C—H...O hydrogen bonds and weak C—H...π interactions are also observed.

The title compound, C10H5ClF2N2OS, was obtained by linking an amino heterocycle and a substituted benzoyl chloride. The dihedral angle between the two rings is 41.2 (2)° and the equalization of the amide C—N bond lengths reveals the existence of conjugation between the benzene ring and the thiazole unit. In the crystal, pairs of N—H...N hydrogen bonds link molecules into inversion dimers. Non-classical C—H...F and C—H...O hydrogen bonds stabilize the crystal structure.

The molecular shape of the title compound, C16H12O7, is bent around the central CH2—O bond. The two benzene rings are almost perpendicular to one another, making a dihedral angle of 87.78 (7)°. In the crystal, each molecule is linked to three others by three pairs of O—H...O hydrogen bonds, forming undulating sheets parallel to thebcplane and enclosingR22(8) ring motifs. The sheets are linked by C—H...O hydrogen bonds and C—H...π interactions, forming a three-dimensional network.

The title compound, C10H13Cl2FN2O2S2{systematic name:N-[(dichlorofluoromethyl)sulfanyl]-N′,N′-dimethyl-N-p-tolylsulfamide}, is a well known fungicide. The dihedral angle between the mean plane of the dimethylamino group and that of the benzene ring is 32.3 (3)°. One Cl atom and one F atom of the dichlorofluoromethylthio group are disordered over two sets of sites with an occupancy ratio of 0.605 (9):0.395 (9). In the crystal structure, two C—H...Cl hydrogen bonds link adjacent molecules, forming dimers withR22(14) loops. C—H...O hydrogen bonds link pairs of dimers into chains along theb-axis direction. The molecule of the title compound, C16H17N3O2S, adopts anEconformation with respect to the azomethine C=N bond. The hydrazinecarbothioamide fragment is close to planar, with a largest deviation from the least-squares plane of 0.079 (2) Å for the hydrazide N atom. This fragment forms a dihedral angle of 9.43 (9)° with the central benzene ring. The benzene rings are inclined to one another by 67.55 (12)°. The molecular conformation is stabilized by an intramolecular O—H...N hydrogen bond involving the azomethine N atom.
