Breast care during pregnancy is one important part that must be considered as preparation for breastfeeding later. Breasts need to be prepared since pregnancy so that if the baby is born it can function properly immediately when needed. Breast care is also very helpful in the success of early breastfeeding, which affects exclusive breastfeeding. Nipples are actually not an obstacle for mothers to breastfeed well by knowing from the beginning, mothers have time to make it easier for nipples to breastfeed. Besides that it is also very important to pay attention to personal hygiene. Current problems faced by partners include the lack of knowledge of pregnant women regarding the importance of breast care during pregnancy, so it is considered necessary to provide counseling to provide knowledge to pregnant women to prepare pregnant women to give early breastfeeding at the time of delivery and provide exclusive breastfeeding to infants up to 2 years. Community service activities are carried out at the Puskesmas Putri Ayu Kota Jambi. Time of implementation in January 2019. The target is pregnant women. Mother's knowledge is one factor in the success of exclusive breastfeeding. Research in Ghana (2008), 1.3 million infant deaths can be prevented by the provision of breast milk (ASI) in infants from the first day of birth until under the age of 5 years. If breastfeeding starts in the first 1 hour after birth, This figure rises to 22% from 16%,. This study aims to determine the differences in knowledge about Exclusive Breastfeeding and the factors that influence it in post partum mothers in BPM with Puskesmas in the East Jakarta area. Research Design: Observational analytic study with the approach used is cross sectional. The results showed that there were significant differences (P = 0.001) between the place of labor and the knowledge of nursing mothers. Mothers who gave birth at the Good Knowledge Midwife Practice (PMB) were 78.6%, while those in the Puskesmas were only 38.5%. Characteristics of respondents related to knowledge of post partum mothers about breastfeeding were Education (P 0.01), Economy, (P 0.000) and ethnicity (P 0.019). Factors-education, economy and ethnicity influence mother's knowledge about exclusive breastfeeding. Place of birth in the Independent Practice Midwives have the opportunity to increase knowledge of exclusive breastfeeding 3 times compared to the knowledge of mothers who give birth at the Puskesmas after controlled by the Education variable.

Background: The Indonesian government has targeted exclusive breastfeeding 80%, but exclusive breastfeeding is not widely done, although the benefits of exclusive breastfeeding are very many, especially for babies and mothers, but in fact many mothers do not give exclusive breastfeeding to their babies, and in the field many mothers stop giving Breast milk in her baby before the age of 2 years. The process of early breastfeeding does not always run smoothly, sometimes mothers and babies experience various obstacles that hinder or complicate the process of breastfeeding, especially if this is the first experience for primigravida mothers who are still young and have a low level of knowledge about breastfeeding that hinders the practice of breastfeeding, and usually her child is not yet 2 years old ASI has been discontinued (Dewanetal., 2002; Yanikkeremetal., 2009). The purpose of this community service is to educate pregnant and post-partum mothers how to properly care for breast and breastfeeding techniques in an effort to increase exclusive breastfeeding coverage. Methods: This community service method is carried out by means of counseling in delivering material then followed by demonstrations and Q&A sessions. LACTATION MANAGEMENT TRAINING FOR PREGNANT WOMEN AND BREASTFEEDING MOTHERS: EFFORTS TO OPTIMIZE CHILD GROWTH. The key person for making quality generation lies on mother, through breast milk. Breastfeeding, besides providing the best nutrition for optimal baby growth and development, it is also a form of love to a baby. Ironically, not all mothers realize and many mothers do not breastfeed their babies exclusively. The low level of knowledge and working mothers is often an obstacle for mothers to give exclusive breastfeeding. In Indonesia, almost 9 of 10 mothers give breast milk, but only 49.8% give exclusive breastfeeding for 6 months. Lactation management health promotion activities are carried out in accordance with WHO recommendations and the Indonesian government in promoting breastfeeding, especially increasing the achievement of the rate of early breastfeeding initiation and exclusive breastfeeding. The activities carried out using several methods: counseling, demonstration, video and discussion. We found that 54.1% of participants gave exclusive breastfeeding for 6 months, 27% for 4 months, and others 2-3 months. Wilcoxon Rank Test showed a significant difference (p = 0,000) between the score of pre-test and post-test, with a mean pre-test of 49.02 ± 19.74, and a mean post-test of 68.53 ± 20.00. Conclution: This activity increased participants' knowledge regarding lactation management.

Lactation Preparation In pregnancy is an effective activity to increase exclusive breast milk coverage and early breastfeeding initiation (IMD). Participants are prioritized pregnant women as well as posyandu cadre mothers. The success of exclusive breastfeeding depends heavily on lactation preparation during pregnancy, often found in the field, the fundamental reasons mothers do not give breast milk to their babies are, (1) Breast milk has not come out on the first day, so given Formula Milk while waiting for mother's breast milk, (2) Breast milk is still a little, and (3) Nipples sink. Some of the above reasons can be anticipated in pregnancy at the age of aterm pregnancy, namely by explaining to the mother about the lactation process, the baby's need for breast milk in the early stages of birth and breast care at the age of aterm pregnancy, as well as the provision of knowledge about balanced nutrition that can be consumed during pregnancy to help increase the production of breast milk in the nifas / or lactation period, However, this group is open to others who have similar interests, such as husbands, or families who will support and accompany the mother during pregnancy until the process of breastfeeding later. Through the extension of lactation preparation given, it is expected that pregnant women can prepare the lactation process since pregnancy as an effort to successfully breastfeed exclusively.
