Abstract In this paper, we consider the generalized fractional Volterra integro-differential equations with the regularized Prabhakar derivative and represent the solution of this type of equations in the form of Bromwich integral in the complex plane. Then we select the hyperbolic contour as an optimal contour to approximate the Bromwich integral. Further, an example to show absolute errors for various parameters by using our numerical scheme on hyperbolic contour is given.

How to effectively extract contour dominant points is one of key problems in process of industrial CT image, second extraction method was put forward. Second extraction method included two steps: rough extraction and accurate extraction. Firstly, discrete circular curvatures of contour points are calculated. Secondly, through rough extraction step, bad points and points which arent correlated with contour features were removed. At last, through accurate extraction step, contour dominant points were extracted by levels of detail. Experimental results show that contour dominant points can describe contours shape and redundant data are removed, the proposed method is simple and efficient.

This paper presents a research work for the design and modeling of a new inchworm linear motor. The three actuators of the motor are based on electromagnetic and permanent magnetic combined drive. The actuator may generate large output force, large displacement and quick response. A permanent magnet cam is designed to realize the continuous and smooth movement for the actuator. The motion equation of the cam mechanism is established and analyzed by SIMULINK from which the optimal contour of the cam may be confirmed. Then the general dynamic model of the linear motor is established with a 4DOF lumped parameter system.

Tool-path airtime optimization problem during multi-contour processing in leather cutting is regarded as generalized traveling salesman problem. A hybrid intelligence algorithm is proposed. The improved genetic simulated annealing algorithm is applied to optimize cutting path selected arbitrarily firstly, and an optimal contour sequence is founded, then problem is changed into multi- segment map problem solved with dynamic programming algorithm. The algorithm's process and its various parameters are given simultaneously, and its performance is compared with simulated annealing and standard genetic algorithm alone. The results show that the algorithm is more effective.
