Teachers are more likely to use the lecture method in learning so as to make students bored. Therefore the researcher chose one of the Articulation learning methods to improve student learning outcomes. This method uses a chain message delivery system, which is from the teacher to students and is passed from one student to another student. This study aims to improve student learning outcomes in Jurisprudence subjects using Articating learning methods for students of class VIII MTs Al-Akbar Sorong City. This type of research is classroom action research (CAR). The subject was students in class VIII MTs Al-Akbar Sorong City in the odd semester of 2016/2017 academic year totaling 38 people. This research was conducted in 2 cycles, namely the first cycle and the second cycle carried out as many as 4 meetings. Data retrieval is done by using test results of learning and observation. The collected data is analyzed quantitatively and qualitatively. Quantitative data is calculated using the SPSS 16.0 formula. The results obtained after the action are given, namely: (1) the activeness of students during the learning process in class has increased, (2) in the first cycle the average score of student learning outcomes tests on Jurisprudence subjects between the first and second meetings in the first cycle is 62, 89% and 74.47% and in the second cycle, the average test score of student learning outcomes in fiqh subjects has increased ie, 80.79% and 94.34%. From the results of this study, in general, it can be concluded that an increase in student learning outcomes in the subjects of Jurisprudence VIII MTs Al-Akbar Sorong after applying the Articulation method

Abstract. Most of the people in Setiawargi Village have not used vacant lands for vegetable cultivation which has hampered the continuity of food processing raw materials. In addition, the quality of processed products and access to markets to sell processed products are also still limited. This makes farmers' incomes smaller during the covid-19 pandemic. Service activities are carried out through several series of activities, namely counseling, mentoring, and evaluation monitoring. Extension activities are carried out using the lecture method, while mentoring activities are carried out using a coaching method that is not bound by time and place limits. Monitoring and evaluation activities are carried out through interviews and observations. The outputs that have been achieved include increased understanding of farmers regarding organic vegetable cultivation, farmers are more creative and innovative in utilizing non-productive land, and farmers can adopt packaging science and technology. The economic and social impacts felt by the target partners include: (1) being motivated to try and start growing organic vegetables, (2) starting to use non-productive land, (3) being able to adopt modern packaging technology, and (4) increasing the cohesiveness of farmer group and KWT members. The success of service activities requires active and creative community participation to support program sustainability.

This research conducted to find out the effect of the demonstration method on the results of learning mathematics during the online pandemic in the fourth grade of SDN Cilaku, Serang City.  The type of research used by the researcher is experimental research, the experimental method with the type of true experiment.  The form taken is Pretest-Posttest Control Group Design.  The instrument used in this study was a test in the form of 30 multiple choice questions as well as student and teacher documentation.  The student population studied in this study were 81 students with 40 students in class IV A and 41 students in IV B.  Based on the results of the study, it can be seen that the results of cognitive learning in Mathematics before being treated using the demonstration method and tested using a pretest, the average value is 46.76.  This value is included in the low category and the majority of students' pretest learning outcomes are 39 students in the low group or can be presented to 45.50%, which is possible because children are less interested in the usual lecture method used by the teacher.  Meanwhile, after being treated using the demonstration method and doing a posttest, it can be seen that the average value changed to 73.82, and this is included in the fairly high category.  The largest value is 100 (very high category).  And the lowest value is 45.00 (very low category).  The majority of students' posttest learning outcomes are in the high category, which is 45% or as many as 19 students.  So it can be concluded that this research has the effect of using the demonstration method on learning outcomes of Mathematics in the material of flat shapes in fourth grade students of SDIT Insantama Cilegon because it has an increase in the value of learning outcomes as much as 70%.

Abstract Simulations provide unique features and instructional benefits for the improved understanding of concepts. This study aimed to find the effect of computer simulations on the understanding and retention of mathematical concepts. This was an experimental research. A sample of 100 students participated in this experimental research.  The sample was further distributed into an equal number of students in two groups. Some topics were selected from the grade–IX mathematics textbook. The selected mathematical topics were taught to the control group by lecture method whereas computer simulations were used for teaching mathematical concepts to the experimental group. Data analysis showed that in the posttest, the experimental group performed better than the control group at a 0.05 level of significance. The scores of the retention test of the experimental group were also found better than the control group. It is recommended to include computer simulations in the teaching-learning process for better comprehension of abstract concepts of mathematics.     Keywords: Achievement, Mathematical Concepts, Retention, Simulations
