In this paper, the numerical solution of electromagnetic scattering by lossless and lossy homogeneous bodies of revolution is investigated. Five different integral-equation formulations are considered, and the dependence of the accuracy of their solution on the object size and permittivity is examined. This is achieved by selecting spheres as the scattering objects and comparing the numerically generated data with analytic solutions.
