Board Action

The Nineteenth Annual Delegate Assembly of the Affiliated Groups of the National Council of Teachers of Mathematics was held in the Philadelphia Civic Center on Wednesday, April 17, 1968, with registration for delegates and alternates beginning at 10:00 A.M. The presiding officer was Clarence Bennett, State College at Boston, chairman of the Committee on Affiliated Groups. Mr. Bennett and Charle R. Hucka, associate executive secretary of the NCTM, opened the Assembly with a fifteen-minute general session. This was immediately followed by the regional group meetings. During the Delegate Assembly luncheon Donovan A. Johnson, outgoing president of the NCTM, extended greetings, gave introductions, and reported Board action on 1967 resolutions.
