Cloud computing gives out the ability that sells computing, storage and other IT resource as service instead of sells hardware. There are also some problems that block the advancement. This paper discussed these problem, especially in database-as-a-service then introduced a mean-tree structure, that extends the encrypted database’s ability, trying to surpass the existence conclusion that an encrypted database is inefficient.
