In the title compound, C22H17N3, the dihedral angles between the central benzene ring and the terminal phenyl ring and quinoline ring system (r.m.s. deviation = 0.027 Å) are 44.72 (7) and 9.02 (4)°, respectively, and the bond-angle sum at the amine N atom is 359.9°. In the crystal, the N—H group is not involved in hydrogen bonding and the molecules are linked by weak C—H...π interactions, generating [010] chains.

In the title compound, C25H25FN4OS, the thienopyrimidine fused-ring system is close to planar (r.m.s. deviation = 0.0089 Å), with a maximum deviation of 0.0261 (17) Å for the N atom adjacent to the benzene ring. This thienopyrimidine fused-ring system forms dihedral angles of 64.73 (3) and 81.56 (5)° with the adjacent benzyl and fluorophenyl rings, respectively. Intermolecular N—H...F and C—H...F hydrogen bonding, as well as C—F...π interactions [F...centroid = 3.449 (3) Å; C—F...centroid = 91.87 (15)°], help to stabilize the crystal structure.

In the racemic title compound, C20H15NO2S, the planes of the two phenyl substituents form dihedral angles of 48.97 (15) and 69.26 (15)° with that of the fused benzene ring of the parent benzothiazine ring, while the heterocyclic thiazine ring exhibits a screw-boat pucker. The O atom on the S atom of the ring is pseudo-axial on the thiazine ring and trans to the 2-phenyl group. In the crystal, molecules are arranged in layers in the ac plane, the layers being linked across b through intermolecular C—H...O hydrogen-bonding interactions.

In the title compound, C17H10Cl2N4OS, the phenyl ring and the H atoms attached to the adjacent C atom are disordered over two positions, with refined site occupancies of 0.509 (8) and 0.491 (8). The planar 4H-1,3,4-thiadiazolo[2,3-c][1,2,4]triazine ring system [maximum deviation = 0.048 (3) Å] forms dihedral angles of 76.9 (5), 74.9 (5) and 9.88 (12)°, respectively, with the major and minor parts of the disordered phenyl ring and with the dichloro-substituted benzene ring. In the crystal, pairs of C—H...O hydrogen bonds link the molecules, forming inversion dimers with an R 2 2(18) graph-set motif. A short S...N contact of 2.801 (3) Å is observed between the dimers.

In the title compound, C14H15N3(systematic name: 4-cyclopropyl-6-methyl-N-phenylpyrimidin-2-amine), which is the anilinopyrimidine fungicide cyprodinil, the dihedral angles between the planes of the central pyrimidine ring and the terminal phenyl ring and the mean plane of the cyclopropane ring system are 14.52 (11) and 88.79 (10)°, respectively. In the crystal, weak π–π interactions [3.8551 (11) Å] connect the dimers into chains along theb-axis direction.

In the title compound, C23H18N2O2, the pyrazole ring subtends dihedral angles of 2.01 (13) and 1.55 (10)° with the pendant benzene ring and the naphthalene ring system, respectively. The molecule is almost planar (r.m.s. deviation for the 27 non-H atoms = 0.025 Å) and intramolecular O—H...O and C—H...O hydrogen bonds both closeS(6) loops. In the crystal, very weak aromatic π–π stacking interactions between the benzene and the pyrazole rings, with centroid–centroid distances of 3.8913 (14) and 3.9285 (15) Å, are observed.

The title compound, C28H28N2O, was prepared by condensation of 1,2-bimethylindole and 4-methoxybenzaldehyde. In the molecular structure, the plane of the non-fused benzene ring is twisted with respect to the planes of the two indole ring systems, exhibiting dihedral angles of 72.04 (7) and 72.24 (7)°, while the planes of the two indole ring systems are oriented at a dihedral angle of 87.05 (5)°. Neither hydrogen bonding nor π–π stacking is observed in the crystal structure.

In the title compound, C23H25N3, the dihedral angles between the planes of the benzene ring and the two substituent dimethylphenyl rings are 60.94 (7)° and 88.08 (7)°, and the dihedral angle between the planes of the two dimethylphenyl rings is 58.01 (7)°. In the crystal, weak C—H...N interactions exist between adjacent molecules. One of the dimethylphenyl rings has a small amount of π–π overlap with the phenyl ring of an adjacent molecule [centroid-to-centroid distance = 3.9631 (12) Å].

In the title compound, C26H16N6O, the dihedral angles between the central pyrrole ring and the pendant indole ring system (r.m.s. deviation = 0.027 Å) and the azide-bearing benzene ring are 37.56 (8) and 51.62 (11)°, respectively. The azide group is almost coplanar with its attached benzene ring [C—C—N—N = 3.8 (3)°]. The benzoyl benzene ring is disordered over two orientations twisted with respect to each other by 9.29 (8)° in a 0.514 (2):0.486 (2) ratio. In the crystal, inversion dimers linked by pairs of Np—H...O (p = pyrrole) hydrogen bonds generateR22(10) loops. A second inversion dimer arises from a pair of Ni—H...Nc(i = indole and c = cyanide) hydrogen bonds, which generates anR22(16) loop. Together, the hydrogen bonds lead to [011] chains in the crystal.

In the title compound, C23H21NO3S, the piperidine ring of the tetrahydroisoquinolinone unit adopts a screw-boat conformation. The thiophene ring is disordered in a 0.700 (3):0.300 (3) ratio by an approximate 180° rotation of the ring around the C—C bond linking the ring to the tetrahydroisoquinolinone unit. The benzene ring of the tetrahydroisoquinolinone unit makes dihedral angles of 83.1 (2) and 62.38 (11)° with the major occupancy thiophene ring and the phenyl ring, respectively. The dihedral angle between the phenyl ring and the thiophene ring is 71.0 (2)°. In the crystal structure, molecules are linked together by intermolecular C—H...O and C—H...π interactions.

In the molecule of the title compound, C20H13FN2O, the fluorophenyl ring is oriented at a dihedral angle of 72.76 (3)° with respect to the fused benzene ring. In the crystal structure, intermolecular N—H...O, C—H...O and C—H...F interactions link the molecules into chains. π–π contacts between the quinoline and benzene rings [centroid–centroid distance = 3.918 (3) Å] may further stabilize the structure. A weak C—H...π interaction is also present. The O atom and two of the CH2groups of the quinoline ring system are disordered over two positions. The O atom was refined with occupancies of 0.489 (17) and 0.511 (17), while C and H atoms were refined with occupancies of 0.435 (13) and 0.565 (13).
