Southeastern U.S. sea level curves are presented, showing that at LGM there was an increase of 25% to 50% more Coastal Plain exposed than there was available for Paleoamericans. Using GIA-corrected bathymetry from 26KA to present, including shorelines from Virginia to the Gulf of Mexico, this chapter demonstrates that Clovis and Pre-Clovis populations could have lived on the edge of the continental shelf, including Bull Scarp, except for the west coast of Florida.
