Airship - Means Controlled

The article is devoted to the review of one of the most important phenomena in the life of Russian aeronautics - the creation and operation of the Kirzhach-D air base. For 10 years it provided the operation of the aviation company - operator of domestic civilian airships AU - 30. With the help of these multi-purpose soft helium airships, a number of unique aviation works were carried out to monitor ground infrastructure facilities. A number of other important applied scientific tasks were solved as well. All this was done after more than semicentennial activity interruption as far as domestic airship industry of such level is concerned.
