We report a case of a vaginal infection caused by a strain of Burkholderia cenocepacia. The strain was isolated from vaginal swab specimens from
a 27 Year old female, house wife G2 A1 at 34 weeks+5 days period of gestation with hypothyroidism, oligohydramnios, early onset IUGR with
Doppler changes. Treatment with inj metronidazole and inj.ceftazidime annihilated B. cenocepacia infection and vaginal symptoms.
