SOFT C*-ALGEBRAS

In this paper we consider soft group and crossed product $C^*$-algebras. In particular we show that soft crossed product $C^*$-algebras are isomorphic to classical crossed product $C^*$-algebras. We also prove that large classes of soft $C^*$-algebras have stable rank equal to infinity.AMS 2000 Mathematics subject classification: Primary 46L80; 46L55
