AbstractContinuing an earlier study, we report new data on the orientational effects of magnetic field alignment of some bismuth cuprates and 8 additional thallium cuprates. Strong parallel alignment is seen for Lu bismate and Nd, Sm and Ho thallate; strong normal alignment is seen for Tm; however, in contrast to bismates and 123 phase, Tl cuprates show little anisotropy among directions within the basal plane.
