Tests of lepton flavour universality in B decays offer an excellent opportunity to test the Standard Model, and show hints of new physics in analyses performed by the LHCb, Belle and BaBar experiments. Several theoretical models proposed to explain possible violation of lepton flavour universality claim a connection with lepton flavour violation in B decays. These proceedings review the experimental status of the tests of lepton flavour universality and the searches of lepton flavour violation in B decays.

The branching ratios and differential distributions for the fourleptonic decays B- → μ+μ- νe e-, B- → e+e- νμ μ- and B- → μ+ νμ μ-μ- are calculated within the Standard Model. The contributions of the virtual photon emission from the b- and u- quarks and the bremsstrahlung contribution were taken into account. The resonances contributions were calculated using the vector dominance model. In this paper we present the differential distributions for the B- → μ+μ- νe e- decay obtained by two methods. Testing the lepton universality in rare multileptonic decays of charged and neutral B mesons are discussed.

In the Standard Model, the three charged leptons are identical copies of each other, apart from mass differences. Experimental tests of this feature in semileptonic decays of -hadrons are highly sensitive to New Physics particles which preferentially couple to the 2nd and 3rd generations of leptons. A review of the latest lepton universality tests in semileptonic transitions at is reported.

I will report on the recent measurement of the fine structure constant below 1 GeV with the KLOE detector. It represents the first measurement of the running of α(s) in this energy region. Our results show a more than 5σ significance of the hadronic contribution to the running of α(s), which is the strongest direct evidence both in time-and space-like regions achieved in a single measurement. From a fit of the real part of Δα(s) and assuming the lepton universality the branching ratio BR(ω → µ+µ−) = (6.6 ± 1.4stat ± 1.7syst) · 10−5 has been determined
