68-year-old woman with microhematuria Coronal oblique arterial phase 3D SPGR images from MR urography (Figure 8.25.1) demonstrate soft tissue thickening surrounding the renal pelvis and proximal ureter, with mild hydronephrosis and hydroureter. Periureteral lymphoma Involvement of the GU system by non-Hodgkin lymphoma is not infrequent, and the kidneys are most often affected. Ureteral lymphoma generally occurs as a result of contiguous spread from adjacent retroperitoneal nodes or from the kidney.
