Metal-catalyst-free N-doped metallic SWCNTs were synthesized by CVD using SiOx as a catalyst, which showed excellent electrocatalytic activity for the oxygen reduction reaction and desirable sensing ability for dopamine detection.

In this work, we systematically followed the growth of MnOx nanostructures on trimesic acid (TMA)/benzoic acid (BA) functionalised nitrogen doped graphene (NG) and studied their electrocatalytic activity towards oxygen reduction reaction (ORR).
