The title compound, C19H17Cl3N2O3, has been prepared in a cyclocondensation reaction between 2,3,5-trichlorobenzaldehye and 4-acetyl-2-methyl-1H-imidazole. The cyclohexenone ring adopts an envelope conformation with the C atom substituted by the trichlorophenyl ring as the flap. The mutuallytransester and aryl substituents both occupy equatorial sites. In the crystal, a combination of N—H...O and C—H...N hydrogen bonds links the molecules into ribbons of edge-fused centrosymmetric rings, which encloseR22(14) andR44(16) alternate ring motifs, propagating along theb-axis direction.

In the title compound, C25H25NO5S, which exhibits metabolism-regulating activity, the 1,4-dihydropyridine ring adopts a flattened boat conformation while the cyclohexenone ring is in an envelope conformation. Molecules in the crystal are assembled into C(6) chains along the a-axis direction via N—H...O hydrogen bonds. The thienyl fragment is disordered over two sets of sites in a 0.7220 (19):0.2780 (19) ratio.

The absolute configuration of the title compound, C24H23NO2, has been confirmed as 3R,4R. The hydroxymethyl group and phenyl ring at the asymmetric C atoms exhibit α and β orientations, respectively, and the non-planar heterocyclic ring of the tetrahydroisoquinoline system adopts an envelope conformation. The crystal structure is stabilized through hydrogen bonds.

In the title compound, C36H44O10·C6H6, the dioxolane ring adopts an envelope conformation with the C atom bonded to the H atom as the flap, while the cyclohexene and cyclohexane rings are in half-chair and chair conformations, respectively. In the crystal, a pair of O—H...O hydrogen bonds with anR22(26) graph-set motif connect the benzoate molecules into an inversion dimer. The dimers are linked by a weak C—H...O interaction into a tape structure along [01-1]. The benzene molecule links the tapes through C—H...O and C—H...π interactions, forming a sheet parallel to (100).

In the title compound, C21H21F2N3O4S, the tetrahydrofuran ring adopts an envelope conformation with the β-C atom positioned at the flap. The triazole, difluorophenyl and tolyl rings of the various substituents on the tetrahydrofuran ring are inclined at 77.88 (12), 83.81 (10) and 81.00 (10)°, respectively, to the best-fit mean plane through the five atoms of the tetrahydrofuran ring. In the crystal, weak C—H...O and C—H...F hydrogen bonds link the molecules into a three-dimensional structure, with molecules stacked along thea-axis direction.

The title compound, C10H13Cl2FN2O2S2{systematic name:N-[(dichlorofluoromethyl)sulfanyl]-N′,N′-dimethyl-N-p-tolylsulfamide}, is a well known fungicide. The dihedral angle between the mean plane of the dimethylamino group and that of the benzene ring is 32.3 (3)°. One Cl atom and one F atom of the dichlorofluoromethylthio group are disordered over two sets of sites with an occupancy ratio of 0.605 (9):0.395 (9). In the crystal structure, two C—H...Cl hydrogen bonds link adjacent molecules, forming dimers withR22(14) loops. C—H...O hydrogen bonds link pairs of dimers into chains along theb-axis direction. These chains are joined by an additional C—H...O contact, generating a sheet in theabplane.
